easy.. by any available well-researched plans and antecedents he possesses before taking up the position.. let us just say he is going to have to think-up a structure pretty quickly given the state of the economy and the expectations of its citizenry. This is not the time for 8-year Plans that take 16 years to begin to manifest.. there are hundreds of proven models that have worked in similar economies and situations that he can learn from and adapt where necessary.. the era of reinventing the tooth-pick is over (it seems)
You're correct bro, I'm just saying that this dispensation appears to be different from other ones(especially OBJ and Jonathan raise many hopes), this particular team seems different to me(I pray I'm not wrong cry), Buhari is not perfect, but he most certainly not a thief and that counts a lot if know what I mean, and we the people have learned from previous false start as well as our votes counting for the first time in decades, you know what that say about tasting blood, you wouldn't settle again for vegetarian option grin grin grin grin

The writer of this junk is a fool. How can this fool blame buhari for the ineptitude of the past administration? Some of these so-called journalists don't deserve to be address as journalists.

And what did the so-called "experience" okonjo achieve as the finance minister under Jonathan? Aside from destroying our economy and lying to gullible Nigerians that they are the biggest economy in Africa, what has madam NOI achieve or what positive thing has she impacted on our already damaged economy?

Kemi will be 1000 times better than that madam NOI who joined forces with diezani/Jonathan to steal our $20billion....
Journalism these days focuses more on opinion piece(not necessarily a bad thing), but in the wrong hand, it might turn out to be a beer parlour gist. After reading this one, I think the author should kindly 'gehrahrah-hare-man' if you know what I'm saying! grin grin grin grin grin

EternalTruths:
This is my answer to you below
MTN's fine was based on a set standard or rule (whichever one you call it) and that's #200k for each unregistered sim card, 5.1m total, local managers are sometimes to blame, we all know what performance bonuses does to managers, they cut corners and that includes exploiting employees and breaking rules if they think they will get away with it, now tell me how do you deal with this if not by zero tolerance? See what that mindset has done to us, almost cripling every sector(of the economy) and every institution in the country, it's like a cancer, eating away at us.
Those preaching restrain sounds to me like "hey! Don't punish currupt officials because it may discourage other officials".

PoliticsRe: Buhari: Not All Nominees Will Be Ministers by sam90s(m): 8:41am On Oct 31, 2015
segend:
Can't the constitution be amended to have 3 or 4 ministers from each zone making 18 or 24 ministers. That's better than have some one as a sitting minister without a portfolio. I will feel insulted if I was made such, will rather not be in the FEC. And besides, is it not waste of money to be paying someone that isn't really working.
You're correct, it's a waste to pay salary to a minister without a potfolio, however, it's a much bigger waste creating uneccesary potfolio too, also about the constitutional ammebdment, it is what it is 'constitutional ammendment' it must pass through the national assembly, after drafting and drumming up support from the lawmakers, let's say a year+ is gone, you must agree with me Nigerians won't take that from Allah himself, much less Buhari, it's a steady process, at least it appears now that we have a team with direction, that will put a stop to our backward slide at least, some energy shots and then off we blast.

PoliticsRe: Faces Of Nigerian Senators During Fashola's Ministerial Screening by sam90s(m): 8:19am On Oct 16, 2015
sirfemoz:
I still don't understand the hype behind being a minister in Nigeria these days. To me, it's kind of an insult that after being elected Governor of a state for 8years, taking up an appointed position becomes a big deal? For crying out loud, this is an appointment in which they are working under someone.. Buhari can decide to reshuffle cabinet in the next 6 months, these people will be relieved of there duties.
That's true, however, the portfolio of a federal minister and the scope of their operation makes it appear suitable for an ex-governor, same goes with a site at the national assembly or being appointed special assistant to the president.....remember they too are concerned about their career prospect, not necessarily noble but it so.

Its a sorry case, 40000huh Yet Cbn TSA would soon lay off most decks officers in banks. Didn't they promise employment?
Yes, they promised to plug leakages too, if you read the CBN governor's full statement regarding the reason behind his decisions, you'll realise he's on the right track, I agree it's not a consolation for those at risk of losing their job, but when huge amount of resources(funds) is being siphoned away through rent seeking practices in the finance sector and the press is crying foul just weeks into the decision, maybe he's doing something right, one need to give him a breathing space, plus we don't hear the biggest LOCAL stakeholder in manufacturing complaining.

"(Femi Falana)......is just a mere Human Right Activist"
Whatever that means? Plus the fact that you seem to consider him worthy of being appointed Attorney General, is really confusing.

Simitrendy:
[b]Dele Momodu is a better Ministerial Candidate to me but if there would be chances

As for Ekiti Now

A good
example is Ekiti State where there is a long queue
of accomplished citizens including three former
Governors, Niyi Adebayo, Segun Oni and Kayode
Fayemi plus Mr Dele Alake and Mr Femi Falana

Niyi Adebayo is a great APC leader he has risen too high but he's not fit for Ministerial Candidate

Segun Oni has made waves in EK to me he will be of great contender to PDP led government in the next Election to contest for the Governorship seat since he has done good and tangible things in EK

Kayode Fayemi is like a person who brought APC to Ekiti

Believe to a normal capacity he helped Buhari to be the President

He's a better candidate if not for Slanderous comments from Ayo Fayose concerning him

He might be a saint capable of holding and heading a Ministry

Dele Alake is not reckoned with in EKiti he contested for the National Assembly he couldn't win the Primary Elections ever since EK people hasn't heard from him.

Thought he was a Commissioner in Lag during Tinubu time grin

Femi Falana doesn't belong to APC he would fit for the Attorney general but he's just a mere Human rights Activist

He's a.lil bit reckoned with in EK

PoliticsRe: Diezani: Three More Ex-ministers Risk Arrest For Graft, Money Laundering by sam90s(m): 8:54am On Oct 04, 2015
Thank you for that statement, same was said about the generals that ran Malaysia and Indonesia around the same period in our history when soldiers ruled over our country, but the difference was that they stole and kept their money at home to build industries and creating opprtunities, wholesale ours stile and stashed away in Europe and America, now those nations are doing well in almost every aspect of human development index, while we still can't get back all the money stolen by the likes of Abacha and his team.

atbu1983:
Assuming she used the money to develop Bayelsa state where she is from, nobody will arrest. she will only have been accused of Tribalism.

The problem i have with Nigeria corrupt politicians, is dat they dont care about development of thier people.

As a niger deltan, i agree the oil money belong to us but not to individual niger deltan. If you really love ur people u should channelled the money to develop niger delta.
