After performing at a closed door exclusive concert for staff and invited guests of the World Bank, he then went on to perform at the center stage of the main concert
One of the key attractions of the event was the performance by Usher who performed on stage with clutches...highly entertaining!

LRNZH: What were they expecting?
OBJ influenced Maurice Iwu to change the electoral act so that Presidential and NAS elections happen before Guber and state house of assembly elections.
Baba Iyabo did this to cajole governors into working for the successful election of the president before being assured of their own seats. It was a PDP masterstroke.
Today, the momentum of GMB's win at the center has made that grand plan has work against PDP. When you dig ditches, remember you could be a victim yourself some day.
APC carry go jor... If that's the case, one person(Baba Iyabo) missed the fall, I think that's unfair considering the fact you said he's responsible. |

brownlord: If you believe the APC never enticed electorates with money, then you can believe anything.
Jonathan's case got sour because power must return to the north, Incase you did not read the report, the northern governors or senators who are supposed to disburse the ( pocket infrastructure ) money held on to the money in some case some working against the party so as to give victory to the opposition ( the man from their region ).
So you get the gist now? Oh yes and lots of people really wanted the "change" now we have it Don't neglect the fact that this isn't the first time Jonathan is running against that candidate from the North, people do want change, if not Jonathan's camp will have easily won improving on their experience from 4 years ago, that's going by your logic. |

zizibabe1: Please raise your hands if you have the privilege of having your father, brother husband or any close family member being given a political appointment, then you refuse to partake of the goodies/opportunities that come with that position. In my opinion,it would be a curse! If I had the privilege of being the appointee myself,I would see to it that my family member benefit immensely from that position. So instead of beefing, just pray that it gets to the turn of your family by divine intervention. When it eventually happens, let's see if you'll call all your enemies and witches and wizards and enrich them, give them contracts etc and forget your family since you think it's wrong for family members such privileges. First of all: That position is an opportunity to serve and not to steal. And before you raise your hand, can you tell us the possibility of any one of a 170+million human having that chance you mentioned? To judge by the number of political offices available not to mention that resources are limited, that will mean one thing: your proposal is not sustainable in the nearest future, except you're one of those blessed with the ability not to think too far ahead, however, anyone who took it upon their self to stow away vast amount resources will be someone who worries about the future (that's your average human being). Might sound strange to you, but truth is some folks just want decent infrastructure and a enabling environment consisting these BASIC infrastructures not Lamborghini, Bugatti, G-650, a million ft Yatch and weekends in Mars or Pluto, why steal funds earmarked for these BASIC infrastructures when you can build legitimate business providing them? Tales abound of business men acquired government contracts through political connection but find themselves sidelined for carrying out a timely and transparent project, they were no saint, they only hope to impress and get more contracts, however, they only managed to offended the 'industry', what was meant to be a cash cow for their politician friend now turned to a finished project. |

alexov: If this is true then this man has the key to creating wealth without having to work. I think all the unemployed nigerians should find out what his secret is. The secret is finally here, took me some time to find it: Become a politician and help yourself to the cash register, just make sure it's in Nigeria where you'll get a medal for your trouble, and remember to steal enough in case the unlikely happens (you get caught), then you can pay your way out, presidential amnesty or even a ministerial slot for that matter. And don't ask me to explain how there'll be enough for everyone to steal, honestly I don't know, but it seems my people have a lot of faith, they think the thief will one day have a change of heart (unlikely with Phantoms, Bentleys, G650s.....) being rolled out consistently), or may one day it'll be my turn, or my siblings' or my in-law..... what kills a revolutionary spirit from taking root more than such thought. |

That's true, imagine someone giving medals to people depriving a nation of badly needed infrastructure, and worst part is an hunger induced crime will be punished summarily in the most gruesome manner on the street, can we just show at least 1/10 of that disdain to people dragging this nation backward? |

Read "Of Africa - Wole Soyinka", it'll help your personal developement, cos that's what you need most irrespective of your location. It's understandable to relocate because of the weather and food, but be sure to be financially secured or else both will become a burden. Now the issue of poverty, racism and the disdainful treatment by the elite(mostly White folks in America). The last one happens in Nigeria too but just that it is your own kind doing it, sad but true, but the strong family values here (especially western Nigeria that I'm familiar with) will insulate you, the trickle down economic principle is alive here in Nigeria than ever. On racism, that will be a matter of opinion really, financial success will always bring improvement in social status, meaning that I will dare a white pool cleaner to call Jay Z an inferior human being, you know the joke is on him, my advice on that, put your invest your energy in transforming your economic status and read widely to to also transform your mental capacity too, you'll impart this to your next generation and they'll be less likely to feel this way you're feeling, they'll be masters of their universe WHEREVER they live. |

first of all, this powers claim to be there when the britons, the fracons, i mean the farances came to colonise us, at that time was their powers sleeping, NO, but even that time the african kings where selling their own kinsmen into slavery, because of gins and mirrors.
Now ask yourself, how many country did african colonise, as big as we are.
Do you know that rats, rabbits, sparrows, whales, bats e.t.c have a colony.
But modern africans do not have one.
bottom line africans fetish never work.
they draw africa backward. History is not honestly thought in our schools, reason I'm not sure yet (I believe it makes us one of the least racially prejudiced people, if that's the goal it seems to be working), however, it leaves many of us with a warped outlook on the world at large, first of all you need know that colonising powers succeeded through a mixture of subtle force, false pretext, misrepresentation, 'undue advantage' and so on. Note: the above is not an excuse or justification, and not even pretending to give a conclusive explanation, I just suspect a hint of badly critical thinking gift in your comment, but you got the whole picture on colonising wrong, it's hardly a badge of honour more like a character flaw, a brilliant and cunning thief will always be a thief, of course there'll be the occasional 'advantages', but a thief is a thief, and the victim is foolish if he keeps being a victim again and again. Read "Of Africa by Wole Soyinka" it'll improve your grasp of this topic, I hope. |
