yMcy56: *UNION DIAGNOSTICS* @Samguru your company issued apology o. SEC referred to First Registrar, First Registrar was clueless. Seems they received more than enough complaints from investors, so they had to do something. Next line of action is waiting for regulatory approval now.......let's see how long this takes again.

Unilever has been reporting loss for couple of years back and the board is coming up with resolutions that will make the company to bleed further.
Imagine the board is proposing #62 million for director as directors fees and as well as #12million vehicle allowance for the chairman.
This proxy AGM is an opportunity for some rogues in board of the listed companies to strangulate our companies.
Securities and Exchange Commission,minority shareholders can not breath again!

We need to form shareholders association and dislodge all these old papa and mama from the boards of quoted companies as well as the audit committees. |

Somebody called me now and said,we will deal with your Caverton for churning out poor result and poor dividend. I told him you said the same thing to UBA,NASCON even JULIUS BERGER I asked,if he can help to deal with Caverton,he said they are already doing that. My closing remarks,the lower Caverton goes,the better. Come to think of it,I was not expecting any dividend from them as their cashcow (Airplane and Helicopter charter) was the worst hit in 2020.dont also forget what emperor Wike of River State did to the same company in 2020. If you want to exit Caverton please do so quietly and let the remaining passengers in the bus,enjoy their smooth ride to KM 3. DD is advised shaa |

FFF241: The report was submitted on January 29th, the same time as most banks, for CBN vetting following approval by the board. Not sure the regulatory hurdles you are referring. FROM A RELIABLE SOURCE, THE DELAY IS BEING CAUSED BY CBN THE BOARD APPROVES AUDITED REPORT AND SEND TO CBN FOR FINAL APPROVAL BEFORE SEC AND NSE APPROVE IT FOR CIRCULATION. CBN IS THE MAIN DETERMINANT ACTOR HERE |

Before you press that SELL button on UNITED BANK OF AFRICA PLC (UBA PLC) shares
Lets reason together;
*NPL (Non Performing Loan ratio) reduced in the year under review * The Gross earning and profit after tax increased significantly * No pending court case that that can claim up to 50 billion naira * Directors of UBA are buying more shares * Tony Elumelu and his family members are increasing their holdings in UBA
But at the end of the 2020 FYE, UBA declared a very poor dividend and on the other hand the company performance was sterling.
Ok nah, you want to begin to dump UBA shares because of poor dividend and thrash their good performance to teach the board small sense.
I strongly believe UBA is embarking on investment drive in 2021 that will require alot of cash and that is the reason the company has retained a large chunk of the 2020 profit. |
