Thank you so much, OP. Registered and got contacted via mail for the English test on the ninth day. Got a 100 and I proceeded to taking the stem and business test. It was a bit difficult but since I needed only 4 points, I answered the ones I knew and I got 7.13.

Well, since some of us must have forgotten high school Maths, Physics and Chemistry, here's the answers I chose:
Maths
2.C
6.A

Chemistry
1.A

Physics
3.A
5.E

BUSINESS QUESTIONS (No. 12)
12.1 A
12.2 D
12.3 B
12.4 B

This should help us scale the stem hurdle. wink Since this is a temporary side hustle, May God help us with better Jobs. Amen. cool

Please, I'm new and I have successfully passed the test. However, I'm stuck at opening a paypal account. I clicked on the 'link debit card/credit card' and was directed to a page were I should feed in my credit card details ( I only use a debit card), different from the information on PDF.

Hi. Thanks to all those who take out time to answer many of our questions. Please, I would like to know how the online recommendation works. Is the link sent to the emails of lecturers provided after or before the payment of the application fee? knowing this will let me know if I should further pressure my uncle about the money.

Hello guys! I have been following this thread for sometime now and I must really appreciate the efforts of you all who tirelessly post job openings here. You guys are doing a great job.

Guys, I'm currently in need of a job. I graduated with a First class honours in Biotechnology and Industrial microbiology, and I understand I don't have much opportunities here in the country and I have been advised by different people to apply for Postgraduate studies abroad.

Perfect idea and I have been working on this. Problem is I have exhausted all the money I saved during NYSC paying for International Passport and getting my transcript and other documents ready. I need to sit for exams like GRE AND TOEFL but I'm currently not financially enabled to pay for these exams.

I've applied for some jobs and I have gotten responses like been over qualified. This is painful.

I beg that you all link me to jobs so that I can earn some extra cash and fund my dreams for post graduate studies abroad. Thanks.

Crime / Re: Immigration Officials Exposed Demanding Bribes For Passport In PHC (vid) by sampatdikachi(m): 11:26am On Apr 06, 2019
LadySarah:
My neighbour is going through the same ish at Their Umuahia office, infact the issuer isnt picking his calls anymore only to involve thE police who it seems works hand in hand with them.

What can he do?The agent who he paid #30k to claims his data is already captured so he cant Go to anyother immigration office for a fresh one and thst he will never smell the passport for calling the police.

2 mths plus now?

I'll advise he contacts @nigimmigration on twitter and he will get his passport in less than a week.

While I was serving, my friend whose PPA was at NIS, Ibadan but had finished serving connected me to an Officer who requested that I pay 26k to get mine done. He promised it will be ready in less than a week.

Three days after payment, I was called for interview and biometrics. One week after biometrics, passport wasn't ready. I called the officer who told me that they was insufficient booklet to carry on with production. I kept calling and he occasionally gave different excuses.

I kept calling and Oga started ditching my calls. After final clearance I walked into Immigration office and met Oga speaking with another client. After sometime, he came to me and told me that there wasn't enough ink for printing. angry Oga later told me and his other client to top and additional unspecified amount to fasten the process. At this point, I knew I was being played with lipsrsealed

I intended using the data page of the passport to register for a scholarship whose deadline I didn't eventually meet. I was sad. cry

I ran to @nigimmigration on twitter and reported Oga. I was asked to go meet the PCO. I explained that it wouldn't be easy considering the bureaucratic system of our Civil service structure but I was assured that the PCO already knew that I was coming. I was asked to show the threads on twitter.

I met the PCO who requested that I call Oga. I called Oga who blatantly denied everything I had earlier said. Unfortunately for oga and fortunately for me, the PCO believed me and oga was served a query grin

We were told to go put in writing, an account of what transpired between us and Oga couldn't scribble anything down Like WTF employs these guys who act as demigods. Oga called his colleagues to beg me to ask the PCO to remove the query from his file. I was the centre of attraction that day. Uniform men were all around me begging cool I felt sorry for him but they was nothing I could do to help him cos the PCO already sent a soft copy of his query via email to HQ in Abuja.
cheesy

The PCO asked that I come the next day to collect my passport. I came and of course he kept to his word wink

Exactly. They're proactive, we are reactive.
Our research is centred around studying and xraying other research work.
Funnily enough, this is what happens in Higher institutions. Students are allowed to take up research works that have been overstudied. Lecturers as well as students are lazy. These works are just recycled with a very few of them having slight modifications.

They are indirectly telling you that they are testing some of their latest biological agents and we are the guinea pigs. How do you think they always know first?
They are always on the know because they constantly carry out researches. This is unlike the scientists we have in Nigeria (myself inclusive) that are not current with emerging diseases and infections probably because we lack the necessary equipment, technical knowhow in the use of these equipment, poor Laboratories, Inadequate funding from both government and private agencies. Lastly, Scientists are not well paid and live of from research grants.

I don't trust this WHO, they may be the one to cause this outbreak through their experiments and also the one to sound the need for prevention and cure
grin grin grin grin grin
Listeriosis is caused by the microorganism Lsteria monocytogenes. This microorganism has been known to be associated with food poisoning and Spoilage especially in meat. I even isolated it last year during the course of my project work.
WHO didn't do any experiment to deliberately unleash mayhem. They are only putting us on the know of a possible outbreak of the disease.
