agonbello: if patronage is low, plus u are still feeding your birds which implies additional cost that might possibly push u out of profitability, slaughter and dress the birds, package with polythene bags and keep in a freezer, and then distribute to hotels or supermarkets.

Billygee2u: I think putting light bulbs are of no use.In my experience ,rain beating and much hot environment is not good for them.they like cool environment most .I kept my tabbits in a cage room which I made for them in my penthouse on top of 3 floor house ,but
latter discovered that they love a largely place to run around and play.
I then removed the door ,they became more lively and friendly .during cold weather here their hairy body looks very good .I fed them with fresh vegetables everyday.I did not give them water and gives them feeds once in 2 months because I love their meat when it's natural . They can survive in any weather as long as you avoid rain beating them.Their meat is really nice to eat.

dasparrow: So why is there no Ebola in the western world? I ask this because I know several oyibos who keep rabbits as pets. They rear them mainly as household pets and not for food consumption. Many of these pet rabbits live in the home with their owners although in their cages and are sometimes allowed to roam within the house. How come Ebola is not dealing with the oyibos in the western world? I thought some people claim Ebola is carried by bats? Anyways, na Jehovah God dey protect persin.

Thanks for this thread. I have been having rabbits on my mind lately. I love rabbits though I have never reared one in my life before. I intend getting a pet rabbit someday. I am not interested in raising them for food consumption or for sale. I just want to keep them as pets. When I am ready, I intend to get the Netherland dwarf rabbit. They make excellent house pets and come in different colors. They are cute and like their name implies, they don't grow too big but rather remain small. I have attached pictures of these wonderful specie of rabbits. I doubt you can find them in Nigeria though but then again we never know.

dyoungforester: @ Wizard, nice job as a rabbit lover, but for the species of rabbit since it plain white it is new Zealand white with pink eyes but if all plain with little black batches beneath the back and ear and likewise the eyes will be black it is beveren. So you can give them tridax leave, pawpaw leave, vegetables, elephant grass, or concentrate pelletized feeds and u can feed them twice in a day with enough water . since you said you bought it from aboki it may be bush rabbit ( hare). uboma: The complete dose for taking Actifed is 5 days. You took it for just one day and expected a miracle to happen. It doesn't work that way. That's why its good to complete the required doze at all times even though you feel better mid way before completing the dose. When you fail to complete the required dosage of any drug, starting afresh with that particular drug may not yield effective result because by then you've developed a resistant to the drug already.

As it stands, I'll advise that you see a Doctor, list all the drugs you've taken so far and what quantity you took. The Doctor will prescribe the drugs you'll have to take and their dosage. And please DO COMPLETE the dose of whatever drug(s) the doctor prescribes.

Just as you said at the start, you need to boost your immunity to treat and prevent this from re-occuring. Keep on taking the Vit C but it mustn't exceed 100mg daily.

Going natural with fruits & veggies would have been the best option but many you'll find nowadays are of low quality with little to no nutrients.

uboma: @ op, for the Catarrh, i take Actifed tablets when i am down with it. Actifed works wonders for me but mind you, it will make you drowsy so take it close to bed time in the night. You will breath better.
