Englishisamust: I have same issue have written my name at admission office in my school. They told they have send our name to jamb caps till today have been checking my portal nothing yet!!
It's better you return to the admission office at your school so they can do the follow up for you
demsy21: Hello, the school gave me admission outside jamb jurisdiction. Now, I want to do regularization so that I can go for NYSC. The issue is that my name on NIN is a bit different from the one on my B.sc. With the new system in place that requires candidates to send NIN to 50019 whatever, can I still go ahead sending sms for me to get the profile creation code? ( Knowing that even after the correction of names at nimc might not still yet to be reflecting on the database) Thanks Cc @SamuelLoch @Kaysy
Hello, If I understand you clearly, your name with NIMC is not the accurate one, your B.Sc. has the correct order. What might work is, first, create a jamb profile using the correct details you want - your B.Sc. I think. Then, link your NIN to your profile since you do not have any other choice. I believe that the process of changing your name on JAMBs portal is easier than at NIMCs office.
After linking your NIN to your JAMB portal, if the NIN details affects your name, try to correct the name on your JAMB portal to fit the name for your B.Sc. program. You might have to apply for "Correction of Data - change of name"
BigBashiru: What I'm saying is if the western European uncivilized savages make an investment of $1billion in Nigeria it means they own the natural gas refinery partly...that's what investment means.... with such an investment they now have a say in the politics of the country.... its colonial....
France and eu is known for doing unspeakable things to Africa leaders who refuse to their bidding e.g. if Nigeria now wants eu to divest from the natural gas refinery they will refuse and want regime change in Nigeria.... that's a problem mali is currently facing....
I understand you now, perfectly! So, you don't want the refineries to be developed by any other party except the FG because you think they would influence our decisions here in Nigeria?
But you can negotiate something not toxic. By the way, Nigeria is to big to be colonialize
BigBashiru: Nigerians must resist such an investment.... they will then hv a grip on the country and will fight to hv leaders who protect their interests....
Actually, there is no grip, at least, on Nigeria. Europe is the one on the edge. That's why Nigeria can make this offer. Russia is the major supplier to Europe. If Europe goes against Putin, he would retaliate by cutting off the supply
Kobicove: It goes beyond just talk, Nigeria does not have the necessary infrastructure with which to ramp up gas production and supply within such a short time interval!
That is why they are calling for investment to "ramp up the gas production and supply" for use domestically, and in Europe
DeepRoyal: Seems one or two people are seeing the bigger picture and room for profitability.
Although, Russia has Europe by the balls with that 40% of supply of gas they do there. Europe will be disorganized should Russia turn off the pipes, Russia's investment in infrastructure to Easy logistics of gas is what is saving her.
Over here we have out country telling the EU to invest in our gas so we can supply them. Too bad our refineries are in ruins, we should be cashing out again big time.
Plus there's something eerily prophetic about this war, it seems it's effect has a ripple worldwide compared to previous ones.
Anyways, I think America will be the king that loses his crown, they were not really part of the 10 toes/10 Kings.
Yeah! Somebody is showing us more critical thinking In times of war, if you're smart, you'd make profit. The ripple effect you mentioned, what was the prophetic declaration?
Back to the matter... It's not a bad deal, actually. According to the article, China seems to be Nigeria's major source of revenue from Solid Minerals, amounting to about 85% of the revenue. What if tomorrow, China says "we're done!" Hmmm another problem! Then, Nigeria would borrow again
So, this is a good move! More revenue from different sources! More money in the reserves, then very soon , if approached well, FX would regain value.
By the way, lately we're just seeing large figures! Money everywhere for this government! They should improve the standard of living! Prices are just going up!
sosowater: I'm responding because you didn't resort to usual insults often used by nairaland hetr5 to make a point.
I'm not saying she's not brilliant. I'm only contering the fact that she's the best finance minister Nigeria ever had since the return. To democracy. Whether short-lived or not, she wasn't the best. Also, she couldn't do much to FOREX issues and pressing financial challenges then. But, she's better than the present.
Yeah, thank you. I just had to highlight some statements in your comments. It is actually an overstatement to say that she's better than Madam Ngozi, LoL! She considers Madam Ngozi as her mentor
It has been about three years since she left office, if she is the most brilliant finance minister we have ever had, she should be getting offers that are at least half as good as the offers NOI got
Her CV is nothing compared to NOI's CV both before and after office, so, she cannot be the best that has occupied the role. It is not as if the economy was thriving when she was there.
Yes, she is better than the useless woman that replaced her, but certainly not the best Finance Minister we have ever had, not when we had one that was instrumental to clearing our debts many years ago
That is the entire point of that response. To correct the very false notion and establish that Kemi is definitely not the best Finance Minister we have had since 1999, irrespective of whatever misfortune fell on her in the course of duty.
You see the thing about issues like this is that, you lose credibility. You would have to work hard to prove your credibility, again, to save your career.
It is actually an overstatement to say that she's better than Madam Ngozi, LoL! She considers Madam Ngozi as her mentor
Trust me, she must have gotten offers. Maybe she was sober, wasn't ready, did not want to settle for less, did not like the mission, was a small thing, or didn't want to approve. Trust me, she must have gotten offers.
She would return to her career. It takes time to get back up again. She's in the process
Best what? Y'all keep celebrating mediocrity in this country. You're supporting her cos of your tribal relations.
If she's the best, top organizations will be looking for her. She'll be a hot cake but no, she retired to start charity works.
The woman did absolutely nothing and she even acknowledged that the pressure was much on her because she was occupying a position that Ngozi Okonjo had managed for the past years. If Ngozi wasn't better than her, she won't be under pressure.
Who remembers her till date? No one because she didn't do anything. Much was expected from her but she couldn't cope with national politics.
From what I read, she did well in her state when she served but failed in national finance management.
Maybe, she would have done better if she stayed put without scandals.
[s]Even Kemi knows that she did absolutely nothing tangible during her time. [/s]
A country like Nigeria should have a strong economic team headed by a minister and team of finance experts but politics won't let that happen.
You people should keep supporting low performances and mediocrity.
What you read was either inaccurate or incomplete... Or you didn't read enough paragraphs. Go back and compare the indexes then, versus after she left
She resigned because she felt ashamed of her act. That's one of the options a right thinking person should do. Others, would fail and still hold on to the power like it's their birthright.
She's brilliant, and intelligent! Plus God-fearing. She also has the experience! She did absolutely well managing Ogun State's Finances.
She had dreams, she lived up to it, and was glad to find herself in the same position her great mentor served - Madam Ngozi. Of course, that would make you so excited, and also nervous! You'd wake up everyday, still thinking maybe it's still all a dream until the day you're able to get over it.
I remember this development... I was angry about it...
She's brilliant, it's so obvious.
Maybe she wouldn't have collaborated with them to loot the national cake. So, they took her out of the equation, and made sure she wasn't punished in the court, just to save their conscience.
If I didn’t make payment, I won’t be given indemnity form and my payments actually reflected on jamb portal even with the charges charged by jamb. I paid 3500 and 700 for charges. And it’s just saying that the transaction id has not been used to apply for what I applied for not error. Thanks anyway.
Okay. I'd suggest that you start from your school. Your school might have handled it, but it's just better you start there to avoid the JAMB officials from sending you back to your school, unnecessarily.
Just get the status of your application at your school. Then, you can decide what next, if you have to visit JAMBs State Office or not.

QueenMarvella: Hello , I gained admission through Part time. I didn’t do any jamb so I don’t have jamb reg no at all. So I tried to do the regularization last year December, but I was told at the jamb office that they can’t do it for me probably coz they stopped doing it. So I went back to my school to tell them and they asked me to do the part time registration instead of regularization and I did. I was given indemnity form to submit to my school. Since December 15th, I haven’t heard anything from jamb. And anytime I tried checking the status , it keeps saying the transaction ID supplied has not been used to apply. I don’t know what to do o. Could it be that my school hasn’t submitted or there’s something else I should do. And I also want to ask if part time registration no is different coz mine is 11 digits instead of 10 digits total.
It's true that JAMB has stopped the Regularization process. Your school gave you the instructions, not JAMB. You would have to return to your school to get detailed info.
About the transaction ID supplied error did you make any payments to JAMB, regarding the issue?
If you didn't, you can't see anything on your JAMB dashboard
demsy21: I'd like to ask. Can the informations on indemnity form be modified or corrected? If yes, how? If no, which other way can one do it?
It can be modified. You'd apply for correction of data. There's a high tendency, that the process for Regularization would be repeated, but this time they would input the data you want.
demsy21: @SamuelLoch I submitted the black and white color for all documents needed. Of course, I went to the right office. No wahala, I will go back there and let you know what happened. Thanks bro
The black and white version might be the problem. I hope you still have access to the document. If you have to print it again, please, print the colored version this time.
demsy21: Hello dear ones, I got admission with my school not via Jamb. After graduation, I was told that I have to do regularization. Went to my Jamb State Office to complete "condonement of illegitimate admission (without reg no)". I was told to to submit a copy of my indemnity form to my university admission office. I did everything since July 22nd 2021. No response on my mailbox. Pls help me check the state of things on my Jamb portal(picture attached below). What should I do?
What?!
Your school, University of Ilorin, has not uploaded your document since 2021... You have to go back to your admission office.
Did you submit to the right office? Do you know if anyone who submitted at about that time who has gotten past your stage? Did you submit the colored version? Maybe they didn't see some details, then dumped your document.
I know the Nigerian government is not making it easy for you to make the money you need to sustain yourself.
I get it.
I remember one time I lost a copywriting gig because the company only paid via PayPal and as you well know, PayPal is banned in Nigeria.
Can you even imagine that?
Do you also rememeber that time Transferwise stopped operating in Nigeria? I lost $2k.
I wanted to die.
But did I?
Nah, one thing I believe is; the only time I'll give up is when I'm dead!
I've tried oh, my guy, I have tried as a freelancer.
What have I not done?
Subscribing to tons of job emails that promise to send me high-paying writing jobs and when those jobs come, it's either it's an america-only job or they want to kill me with workload.
There was this one time this Filipino employer wanted me to write 30 high quality articles every week while paying me 40k Naira/Month
You dey whyne me
If I start telling you all the stories of my experience as a freelancer, LinkedIn servers will overheat.
But is there a way for a freelancer to climb above all of this nonsense challenges and start making a decent living?
Of course there is.
You just don't know it yet.
Even the Christian holy book said "my people perish for lack of knowledge"
If you're hungry and I hide chicken inside a plate in the kitchen without telling you, what are your chances of finding that juicy chicken
Omoh, me I like chicken and it's my life mission to find chicken and enjoy it.
And, let me not lie, the Chicken of making dollars is sweet!
But how did I even do it?
Like I did I get to the point where I get jobs without applying?
1. Positioning myself so the best opportunities can find me.
2. Leveling up my skill to the point where any employer knows I'm worth every dollar! (Can you say this for yourself?)
There's more but this post is getting longer so I'll talk about them in details subsequently.
Lol.
Anyways, please take care of yourself and don't let this country run you down.
There's always a way, and if you're willing to find it, work for it and apply everythimg you learn, you'll realize how easy it is to make money as a freelancer.
Cheers. Triumph.
P.S If you're tired of the hassle of earning peanuts as a Nigerian freelancer, connect with me on WhatsApp https:///ss4kkj, I work on my own terms now so I have time to answer all your questions.
Thanks, man
It's the season, I guess. With more practice and persistence, we the strugglers would scale through

Iyaebe: Omo iyaloja have spoken. If you don’t love tinubu then you are an enemy of progress,Lagos is not what it is today without the good foundation that tinubu has built,he’s good with governance and he’s a son of a great market woman,he was born and brought up in the market like a true African child,he knows what it feels to be downtrodden and he obviously knows the solution to the problems of Nigerians, let’s put our thinking cap on and do the right thing.Omo iyaloja to the world.
Tell us 3 things Tinubu did when he was the governor of Lagos State. Please, don't say he paved the way of other governors.
jaybest90: Thanks bro.. Pls can I do that in another state because I'm no longer at the state where I applied
[s]It's best to visit the office in the same state as your school, except if you're not doing JAMB Regularization because some officials would not want to listen to you the moment they know you are far from your school. Some don't like the workload of an additional student. I believe that with a good and persuasive explanation, you should be able to do it at any other office.
I know someone who travelled from Kwara State to Osun State, and they attended to him, after pleading though.[/s]
Forgot yours is Change of name. Yes, you can visit any of the State offices.
jaybest90: Jamb refused to correct my misspelled name since October that I have applied and paid.. What can I do pls
You would have to go back to the office to remind them. Try to persuade the official that would attend to you. So, you can get it done before you leave their office
Mayorla: It shows 'You have not been offered admission yet' and The school did not request for it during registration then. Tho, I was offered a different course from what I applied but my JAMB portal is still showing the initial course I choosed
Okay. So, when you click on "Check Admission Status" it also says you've not been offered admission, right? That means JAMB has no record about your admission. If this is the case, start with going to the admissions office at your school or the Division of Student's Affairs at your school. Let them know they offered you the admission, that you didn't sneak in.
I really hope they fix this otherwise, you might experience some delays for NYSC, just like me too.
Huracio: hello boss my jamb regularization has been approved since yesterday Sunday. my questions is, can I log into my profile and make payments for the printing of jamb admission letter on my phone and proceed to print it at a cyber cafe afterwards?
Yes, you can. Pay for your Admission letter, and Result Slip Printing. N1K each.
After paying and saving the documents on your phone, open JAMBs Check Matriculation List link, to see if it has been fully rectified.
Uziyl: I've had my regularization stuck in waiting for approval. It's remaining just Jamb HQ to approve and has been like that for 3 months. Tired of messaging the online support as they keep telling me to be patient. If at all there is any issue I should be informed or better still they disapprove it and give a reason. Instead nothing. My patience is tired already. It's not worth all these stress.
Please, what might be the cause of this.?
Check it now... Some people just got theirs fixed between Saturday and Today, including my flatmate. I hope you're one of them too
