Yeah I fixed it, so apparently jamb cannot correct any name on a profile because it is technically illegal. Now the middle name on my jamb is BOLUWATIFE(that’s what is on my waec too) while the one on my school portal is JOSHUA, so as it couldn’t be corrected, an admin officer in my school(OOU) hinted me that the only solution is to make my jamb middle name my official name. I wrote to the school, had it changed and mobilized for batch c. Recently wrote to them for a new notification of result, hoping to get that at the end of the month.

My advise is if it’s a middle name you’re having issues with, just adapt the one you have with jamb but if it’s a surname or first name issue omo God is your strength.

For the most, it's usually with the middle name. Misspelling or arrangement sha and it's usually an easy fix, but like you said Surname or First Name get as e be. I'm not saying you can't sort it o. You can but those people go stress you

Normally, you should do JAMB REGULARIZATION
I would suggest you visit your school's ADMISSION OFFICE to know your status.
As it is, your school has okayed you for NYSC but JAMB has not. By default, the two should okay you for NYSC, but there has been cases whereby the individual didn't have issues since the school approved boarding for NYSC.

Hello bosses in the house, my fuel pump went bad in February, and my rewire changed it. My rewire did not replace the entire fuel pump back then, just the main engine (that round iron silver thing).

After the fix, I noticed that the car sometimes takes like 2 cranks before it starts, and I was told may be my battery is on the verge of giving up (that was the battery that was in the car when I bought it as tokunbo this Jan), alas, I bought a new battery, but the issue still persist once in a while.

Fast forward to last month, the car jerked roughly, and lose acceleration while on speed. I called the rewire and he confirmed the fuel pump is gone as it doesn't supply fuel to the engine.

Now he suggested that I shouldn't use the fuel pump that came with the car, that they are the short type and are quick to develop faults, instead I should get a tokunbo variant that is long which is for camry or some Toyota brand/model like that (I know mechanics and anyone with experience would understand what I'm trying to say). So I obliged, and he fixed that into the car, and the car now starts immediately I turn the ignition (so it was the fuel pump that causes those cranking all along and not the battery as the rewire guy suggested).

My issue now is that I noticed the car consumes fuel than usual. I will attach a screenshot of my ODO meter before and after a roughly 24km distance. At the rate the car consumes fuel, I doubt I can average the 350-400km per 50+ ltrs(the full tank) that I see some people boast of with corolla 03-07.

So I am here to table it to my ogas who might have a better understanding of what is going on.. Or may be I'm just been paranoid with the fuel consumption thing.

According to FRSC commander,he said the driver's licence can be filled online by the user and the printout taken to the bank and make payment.But they will crash their website to make it unable to be access by anyone except the FRSC officials.

They've made the website thing stressful already from the first stage.
See the screenshot I attached requesting for Certificate Number. To get am sef na work. Then, the moment you get there and they realize the STRESS begins.

Going through the driving school won't take you more than 3 weeks to get the temporary driver licence because them go bribe FRSC,lastma and vio s'workers to make the process smooth.Then one month your original may be ready.

I don't even think you can do it yourself. There's a certificate number you need before you start. From the moment you start to go upandan trying to get that number, they would show you STRESS!

If you sat for JAMB before 2017, and the course on your admission letter does not match the course you studied, you have to do JAMB REGULARIZATION.

JAMB claims that the process is now automated. Definitely, you're not the only one. Your school and JAMB, in conjunction, must have concluded on a way to sort out students in your category.

My own issue is, I did my regularization last year April, submitted the indemnity form around September and up till date, I haven't heard or gotten any admission from jamb. I have gone back and forth from school to Jamb office at my University state and the one where I base. They keep saying school hasn't recommended my name of which the school is saying that have.

I have to meet with the admission officer at my school and he recommended I do it again which I did but this time I had to make sure the admission officer process my name to jamb on their Cap. Nothing has come out of the two regularization till date. I checked my indemnity form status it says my transaction ID has not been used to apply. I'm so confused right now. What do you think I should do please?
I have already graduated, it's NYSC and jamb admission that's the problem now.

This is quite serious o!
Lemme try to state the processes here maybe you can discover what's going on.

You start by applying at the JAMB office in the same state as your school (not necessary, but highly recommended) with some information about your school, especially your Vice Chancellor.
Upon successful submission with the right info, you would be given some print outs to submit at your school's admission office.
Your admission officer would verify the information on the document, if valid you would be told to make a copy for yourself as acknowledgment.

At this stage, your JAMB portal should approve two stages; the application and institution.

After some days, the state level should approve the submission made by your school. This is the 3rd stage.

After some days, the headquarters (Abuja) should also approve your application. This is the last stage.


So, where did your application process go wrong based on the story above?

About the Regularization discontinuation... Students who wrote JAMB after 2017 (I think) cannot apply for JAMB Regularization. They said the processes are now automated

if the company is at Abuja the person will be posted to same Abuja where the company is. Unless the person chose to camp in Akwa-Ibom and redeploy back to Abuja


You can't tell if the request letter is guaranteed or not until you get to camp

You start with direct posting first to the state where the company is located then work your PPA to the said company or if the company can issue you a request letter then you take it along to camp to be posted there. Although, request letter isn't guaranteed that you'd be posted there. Some request do get rejected while some get accepted

The request letter will save you the money that you'll pay for me to work your PPA posting to the company. But if paradventure it got rejected or didn't get posted to the company then you can now pay to work your PPA to the company back

So, are you saying that there are 2 direct postings to make this work, perfectly?
The first is to the State in Nigeria, and the second is to the precise company. On point or not?

To save cost... One can go to camp with the Request Letter from the company. This method is not 100% assured.

So, let's say the company is at Abuja, and this person was posted to the orientation camp at Akwa-Ibom. If the request letter method is guaranteed to work, would the person just submit it there and that's all?

School uploaded it around may and I had to go to my state jamb office before they could upload it. Which they did on the 12th of August. Now I'm waiting for the HQ to approve. Please how long does it take for HQ to approve theirs?

If you're waiting for HQ's approval, you don't have a problem. 12th of August was last week. Give it 2 weeks and check back. It could be longer than that or lesser. Just relax!

She was given a course in the school of arts during her ND1 but switched to another department in the school of business where she matriculated, finished ND and also completed her HND. But her jamb admission status still carries the first department in the school of arts.

The question now is, would there be any need for jamb regularization or she should just visit her school admission office to know if she has been cleared, then subsequently check her name on the nysc mobilization list? Thank you

Exactly in that order. She should visit the Admission Office first, then take the next action after. If she has been cleared, she should wait for the mobilization list. If she has not been cleared, she would need to go to the State JAMB Office close to her school.

After Institution is the State Office, then HQ. State Office takes some time, but once approved HQ doesn't delay. HQ can approve the same week the State Office did. It could take longer too
