Bahamas95: What most of these churches do is to collect, they don't give. That's not the gospel of Christ. OP would have been a bit patient, even if the pastors refused to help him there are people out there with good heart that would have helped him. He even made mention of a nairalander that assisted him financially, I wonder why he gave up.
Serving idol is not the best option, the devil will never give you anything free of charge. He gives with the left hand and collect with the right...... There's nothing compared to the blessings of God, it comes with peace of mind. Don't mind him. He hasn't seen frustration, now he's going to see it fool dose. All his life is going to be about doing foolish things for people and learning more foolish things. The satisfaction he thought he's going to get in life just eluded him. The devil that people are running away from is the one he's running to. He's doomed for destruction except he traces his way back to God. |

Charmingrascal: Satan tempted you. He sent his agents to communicate with you and you fell for the temptation and threats. You claimed to read the Bible "paali to paali" yet you didn't learn from Job's story. Did you pass through a quarter of what Job went through?
You were never a "fiery Christian" as u claimed. You only thought you were a "fiery Christian" probably because you were a perpetual and dedicated "Church goer" who never really encountered God and holy spirit. You obviously took mission job to survive like so many other so called Pastors that we have seen in this country in recent times.
May God save your soul. You've said everything. Every true Christian knows that Christianity is about your personal relationship with Christ and has nothing to do with how others treat you. You only owe them a duty to forgive and forget wrongs done to you and then continue on your journey with God. Reading his story from the beginning, I knew this man wasn't serious with life. How can you live by begging others to help you? What kind of life is that? Does it mean he wouldn't have been able to sit, come up with an idea and then pursue it with everything within him to defeat poverty? His mind was always fixed on getting help from others; picking free money here and there. Is it everyone that born with a silver spoon? Why won't demons start talking to you when you have presented yourself as a perfect vessel? And then, without any tangible means of making money, he became a father, which comes with a lot of responsibilities. I don't know why some people feel others owe them something, even when in all their life, they've not given a cent to anyone. On the other hand, all these stup!d stories about so-called pastors and winners chapel would never end until they begin to do the right thing. I've never read anywhere in the Bible that Jesus or any of His apostles paid people to be minister of God. Genuine calling to pastoral ministry has always been voluntary. Today, winners chapel are making it a paid office. What sort of nonsense is that? Let me just stop here because I'm seriously boiling in my spirit. |

We've been online to get opportunities that Nigeria can't give to us. Companies and businesses in first world countries are already going online and they need skilled workers (for cheap), which we can fill the gap, work and get paid in FX. Do you know how much is a dollar to the naira now? Whether it's your passion or not, I'd continue encouraging everyone to go online. If it wasn't online, I would be struggling today. Louveiu: This Is The Reasons Why People Don't Want To Help You.
In the wicked world, we live in, witches and wizards get higher ranks based on the amount and level of wickedness they've done. So don't feel you've not offended anyone so no one can do you evil.
A witch can donate the life of her husband in the coven to get more power and rank. She can also donate any of her children. She can donate her only child. Likewise a wizard. Is that not a high level of evil? Now tell me who you are that a witch or wizard can't harm you.
My chiefs and ma'ams, we need to hold strong to God and spirituality so we'll not suffer from the shackle of evildoers.
When you feel depressed and things aren't working well for you, you're experiencing hardship and family, friends and loved ones don't want to help you. No one care about you. Your siblings with higher opportunities tend to help strangers than help you. Don't call them wicked, don't call them stingy. Don't tag them names that are not theirs.
The problem is you. You've been attacked by the evildoers, the witches and wizards. They've infected you with bad energy and placed a mark on your head that anyone who sees you will not like to associate with you. No one will want to help you. If you're into business, no one will want to patronize or partner with you. Your wife or husband will begin to lose love for you. Things will become tight. And whenever their co-witches and wizards see you anywhere, they'll like to do you more evil.
Witches operate like a network. If you leave your country for another country, they're still there. They don't show mercy, their primary duty is to do evil. So be spiritually alert.

Point or Mention the few things that are wrong let me give you clarity, we are here to learn.
The difference is: In Akwa Ibom they mostly used a suffix to these names Eno or Ima etc, like for example: Eno-Obong or Eno-Abasi meaning God's Gift or Gift from God.
Ima-Obong or Ima-Abasi meaning God'sLove or Love from God.
While in Efik its just Eno or Ima no suffix of Obong or Abasi in the name. That's just the difference except the Efik parents decides to use the obong or Abasi suffix to the name of their children.
Akwa Ibom is too christiany religious &it reflects in their names. They have native or interpretation for English names, like for example: Victory interpreted as "Edikan", patience means "Ime" Happiness means Inemesit, Joy simple means "Idara" Hope means "Idoreyin", while "Idongesit" means Comfort or comforter, while Edidiong means Blessing. These are common names among Akwa Ibomites
Efiks prefers ancient names of their forebears as first name of their children, Except for few who adopt English names as first name nowadays.
In Efik Tradition, names like Ekamma you mentioned, Ekaette are petnames, they don't use it as official names in certificates, Except Efik parents nowadays who decides to use it to name their children officially. Ekamma literally means Great-Grand Mother or Grandmother, any babe/girlchild with this name is being named after her Grandmother or Great-Grand Mother as a mark of honour or rememberance/memorial by parents if she was good or an influential with positive vibes woman while alive or dead. Same as "Mma-Akamba" meaning "Big senior mother /woman" but this one rep. both Great Grandmother, Grandmother &paternal Greatgrand&Grandmothers.
Opposite of mmakamba is Etekamba
Ekaette is the natural mother that gave birth to your dad/fathers "Eka" means mother while "Ette" means father/man is also a petnames in Efik Tradition, but in Akwa Ibom petnames can be used as official names in certificates.
Example: Mmayen, Etteyen, Koko-nne, Koko-mma, koko-ette, Etteka, Etekamba, Ettete etc are all petnames in Efiks, Efuts in Calabar & Akwa Ibom State.
Etteka here means the man that gave birth to your mother. That is, your mother's father or maternal father. Opposite of Ekaette.
Petnames is not acceptable in real Efik Tradition as an official name it's permitted to be used at home and social gatherings &among your peers in lieu of your official name. Well, this is an exposé. Thanks a lot. |

Linked to which Akwa Ibom, you don't know Efik more than I do, that's why I say a modern Efik parent, who doesn't want to name their females the ancient Traditional names like Ekaette, Efiomanwan, Ekpenyonganwan, Ansaanwan,Basseyanwan, Affiong, Ikwo, Atim, Asari, Nkoyo, Enang,Inyang etc. Nowadays efik parents name their children English names other than that, they look at native name that has meaning like the regular Eno or Ima, it's something I have witnessed. They don't joke with native petnames, like kokomma, Eteka, Etekamba & mmakamba synonymous with Grandparents either maternal or paternal. The last two names above are unisex, like my late mother's name was Ansa, masculine name.
Eno simply means "Gift" with reasonable meaning & guess what I have met few Efik babes bear "Eno"& both parent are core Efiks from Calabar South, are you they also bear names like "Ima" too
Please, I did not mention Enoh in my previous post cos it looks more masculine & I usually seen it as surname in people's names.
Efik people has pattern on how they name their children both male & female.
Efik people don't bear names like Nsikak, Aniekan, idoreyin, idongesit, yeneime, Akaniyene, Akpan, udo, etc but it's regular names in Akwa Ibom State. Efik people have their traditional names, same as Qua people of Calabar Municipality or Efut people of Calabar South all are ethnic groups within Calabar & all areas within the constituency. I know them by their names. Akwa Ibom people also share this traditional names too with the Efiks mostly people from Oron, Itu & Uruan etc. I can go on &on A significant part of your submission is right, but few things appear to be wrong. Yea, Enoh is actually masculine and not native to the Efik people but Etung. Well, if the Calabar people have started bearing names like Eno, Ima, or Ekaette [though Ekamma is common], it's indeed a new development. |
