chigoizie7: The level of impunity and lack of rule of law in this present administration is the worst ever happened since yesterday 1999.
My take is , since this has been the worst so far, why not continue to try another hand until we get something better than the last one. Your insinuation for no election mean that you want this present administration to continue to be in power. That’s where I have issues with. Let the worst happen bro. Let life happen. I don't believe in Nigeria. Our leaders have bastardized this country. I don't see anything to fight for except personal battles. If you feel you can salvage the situation, go ahead, but when the Army starts shooting, you will remember me. Nigeria's problem is hydra-headed. I don't know which to even talk about. I don't even see any solution through anyone. Don't you notice that the politicians have been fighting for themselves? Haven't you seen how they've been looting the treasury? Who among them is sincere? I don't see anyone. |

chigoizie7: Then the most incompetent administration will still remain in power to mismanage the economy kpata kpata. The Nigeria economy has always been mismanaged since I was born. I've seen everything from OBJ till date, what has really changed? Nothing! Let them continue, please. Prior the 2015 elections, we thought Buhari was the messiah, but see where we are today. Most of you are seeing the messiah in PYO or PO, but trust me, any of them would perform woefully. Look at Anambra, when Soludo, we all thought he's come with a solution but today he's already complaining. Forget this country bro, just face your life and see what you can make out of it regardless of the situation. If you become unnecessarily disturbed or involved with the Nigeria situation, you may end up not achieving anything while living in Nigeria. |

He didn't come in through the majority vote of the Nigeria populace. The same cabal knows who they want to impose on Nigerians again. So, what's the point campaigning for whoever? Before matching for any politician, consider BH, herdsmen, armed robbers, kidnappers, and bandits in the North, and then UGM, ESN, IPOB, armed robbers, and kidnappers in the South.
I don't see any reason why any sensible person should consider campaigning for any politician in Nigeria right now or even consider voting. |

obembet: kept couldn't save Chelsea in Carabao Cup penalty shoot out. In fact, he missed his own penalty and Liverpool won the cup. There was nothing Kepa could have done if he was brought on to replace Mendy. Mendy did a fantastic job at the goal post. Chelsea were destined to lose the match. Chelsea and Liverpool placed very well but Liverpool won.
That's life. You've spoken well. When you do your best, be happy with the result. There's no point brooding over the past. Both teams played well. It was a penalty shoot out and you can't blame any side for losing. If Liverpool had lost that yesterday, the whole blame would have been on Mane. BTW, is it Mendy that made Chelsea to lose their chances before and after 90 minutes and extra time? Everyone should move on, please. |

Did I just read them calling Nigeria Big brother E go shock them There's something you don't know about BH in Nigeria. The government, if they want, can end BH in the next six months. Terrorism in Nigeria isn't as complicated as they make us to believe. They alone know why the war is lingering - it's all about politics. If Nigeria sends troops to South Sudan, they'd perform excellently. Don't forget, the fight here has been more of elements within the security forces jeopardizing the efforts of those in the frontline. They leak classified information at will and frustrate the operation. South Sudan knows Nigeria can help if they want to help. So, don't allow how the Nigeria forces fight BH here to make you feel they're not good. |

Yes it is wrong but don't rule out that in the nearest future it could find its way into English dictionary.
PS: French still remains the best language. You know the feminine and masculine via usage.
* Online dictionary/ies most times includes some popular Nigeria words into it. Don't forget also that most words usage are now obsolete. Nay! That sh!t is only common in one noisy region of Nigeria. |
Romance › Re: What Is Wrong With People That Say "Cousin Brother" "Cousin Sister"? by samuelson06(m): 12:15am On May 11, 2022 |
Penguin2: Mr grammarian…
First of, your English is poorly constructed for someone who wants to lend his voice to how Nigerians should speak English properly.
Second, the word ‘cousin’ is neither masculine nor feminine and there are no articles that make them so.
So, Nigerians who add ‘sis’ and ‘bro’ after cousin are actually helping you understand better with absolute clarity.
Another of your problem is that you seem to be a structuralist and not a deconstructionist who would think beyond what he was taught and make his own additions to subjects and concepts and theories.
The English language is not a dead language; it keeps evolving.
Same with every discipline of scholarship.
The syntaxes and semantics of the English lexicon are not cast in stone. They keep dropping and picking up new stuff.
Who says ‘cousin sister’ and ‘cousin brother’ will not one day be added as proper English expression?
If everyone reasoned like you, Scientists would still believe Atom is the smallest indissoluble and indestructible particle.
We would still hold on to the theory that the world is flat.
Or that the sun rotates round the earth.
These are previously held concepts and theories that have been proven false through the instrumentality of those who dared to think different.
Dare to think different! Feel like a boss. Roast him. But hear me: that useless cousin brother or sister crap would never be added to the English dictionary. To hell with you! What's cousin brother or sister? Who's the cousin and who's the brother or sister? |

I have a Toyota matrix 2006, at 80km/hr & above, there is this humming sound from under d hood, very distinct at d persengers side, i already replaced the suspected damaged hub (complete unit with bearing).
Humming sound has reduced but still being heard at high speed, i am thinking it's from the power steering, the oil seems dirty & contaminated.
I am planning to flush with the attached atf. Please i need advice, are these atf recommended? How did you come to the conclusion that the humming sound may be as a result of the contaminated ATF? How long have you been using the car before you plan ATF change? |

Pls what could be the problem of that cranky start
Cc: Gazzuzz Sounds like a battery problem. To test, disconnect the battery in the evening and observe the car the following morning. |

You can freely use stickers when you are chatting with a friend not when you are chatting with someone you just got to know or most especially on serious issues as this. The problem is that people hardly know the limit they should go with others. They mixed together both formal and informal communication. They tend to behave same way with family members and the people they meet outside. Just yesterday, someone from a Whatsapp group was trying to call me via video call. I've never met him before. My only relationship with him is being in the same Whatsapp group. I was like, WTF! Who does that? I simply ignore the call. I don't quite understand how people are raised. For God's sake, there should be a boundary to everything. Even if we share the same parents, there should still be a boundary in our relationship. |

Rizin: My Dear, no need to be aggressive. we are saying the same thing.
Amdman wanted to help Nigerian by offering them to buy cars at 1.2m or less. But your country never wanted that. This is why i said he should consider not to put the words "or less" as your country can not allow it to be less.
I hope you have your PVC. Its not enough to be aggressive and outspoken. POLITICS does not understand feelings and expressed aggressions, ACTION is what matters. GET YOUR PVC. What makes you feel Nigerians voted Buhari in 2015? No! We didn't vote that man. The evil powers that be rigged him in. We don't really have elections in Nigeria but fraud. That's why you see them seriously consulting now. Regardless of your standing in the sun for long hours to vote, it won't count. INEC would declare who bribes them well and then tell you to go to court. I doubt if there have ever been free and fair election in Nigeria. Hence, I won't be voting. They can't have me waste my time and also risk my life in the name of election that won't count. |

Rizin: @Amdman, In may 2019 and on this thread, you posted cars one can by for 1.2m or less .
In may 2022, less that 3yrs after, the same cars has gone up to 3.5m. that is 300% increase. And unfortunately u are confused about the whole system and don't know how to help your followers here. You don't want to quote price again as it can go to 500% and you will look as if you r not serious. May be you will consider putting the heading as CARS FOR 3.5M OR MORE. because for you CAR FOR 1.2M OR LESS, The LESS here can never work in Nigeria. You talk like someone that's ignorant of the realities in today's Nigeria. Is Amdman the one responsible for the unstable naira against the dollar? Is he the one responsible for the confusion at Lagos port? Instead of blaming your country and yourself, you are looking for who to shift the blame to. See, it's our collective loss if this guy isn't running this business again. Even though he gains from it, over time I've seen that he cares less about the business. That means he's doing something else to take care of his bills. So, what exactly is your ranting? Today, most of you are mobilizing for another catastrophe to happen to Nigeria after Buhari in the name of Tinubu. By 2024, you'll come back again to blame Amdman for not posting cars again. We are not wise in this country at all. |
