For what I know, there's no crappy food in the camp. Many times, those foods are cooked by fellow corpers. Remember, you are only there for a short period and also on a training. Everything is part of the training you're getting there.

For example, I still remember how my mom used to beat me when I was a kid but when I reflect on those things today and the nature of a man I've become, I've no regret. I truly believe that her high-handedness has help to shape me into a real man today.

Many times, we try to excuse ourselves from things that'd make us and when we are subjected to a test of character, we fail woefully. Hard times make strong people and not the reversed.

The NYSC camp is so-called because it's a camp and camps are usually tough places. So, subject yourself to the training and be built for the future. At least, it isn't going to break you. I served in the SW coming from the SS. Before then, I never tasted any Yoruba foods but I had to eat it, not because I was yearning for it or because I wasn't with money but because that's what majority of people would queue up to eat so who was I not to eat same food?

Don't behave like you've arrived when you are not. Yield to the training and take note of everything.

I think no matter what are the offences of these kids, they shouldn't be left completely in the street. Or is there nothing at all we as a society can do to cater for these kids? Whether we like it or not, these kids are only growing up to become hardened criminals - future armed robbers, terrorists, kidnappers, ritualists, rapists, political assassins and more.

We are already battling with insecurity around the country. Meanwhile, we are also grooming others that will become future threat to the security of the country.

I really felt bad seeing kids in the position I did last night. What can we do to help them please? Any any government agencies, NGO or individuals that can pick up their case and give them life worth living? I don't think anyone deserves to sleep so openly outside like this, not to talk of kids.

For the sake of humanity, I therefore volunteer myself for any assignment that could bring succor to these kids.

Good day house. Plss my car AC has been given me issue for a while now. I bought new compressor and refilled the gas, gas leak before the next day reach, took it bk to technician he said compressor is bad, back to the market, compressor was checked and confirm ok, now AC technician said we need to flush the system and check evaporator we did and everything seem ok, check condenser it was ok pipes was ok also, gas refilled before getting home last night, AC the blow hot air. Me dun tire abeg I need help if anyone has faced similar issue, cus am about going bk there to see if anything can be done. A Friend of mine said the AC guy should check the expansion valve. Plss help guys.

1. Thank you for your contribution. I changed the oil with the filter. Now I plan on changing them and refilling again on Saturday. Is there anything needed to be checked, best recommend oil to use and filter as well??

The last time you change the oil, was it gauged and certified to be okay between you and your mechanic? If yes, then try to check if there's any leakage.

There has never been a time my oil go below the min mark before I change and I usually use 4L and it gauges well.

Meanwhile, the best recommend oil for your engine is the one written on the oil dip stick. The brand maybe Mobil, Total, or something else. It doesn't really matter.

I use the common oil filter sold thereabout 1500 naira. The park is blue.

I'm not a mechanic but it sounds like there's a problem.

If the engine oil was gauged and it fell within the min-max mark on the oil gauge and your mileage isn't up to 5k since last oil change nor have you used the car up to 2 months, then you should be worried about something else.

The problem here may not be about topping the oil to gauge it but also considering the oil filter because oil change and filter usually go together.

If you don't change the filter along with the oil, the filter may become due for a change while the oil is not.

So, whatever you do, they must be a balance between these two things.

Like I said, I'm not a mechanic but just saying this from my head.

went to my mechanic on Saturday,narrated my ordeal , he called an AC guy , he told me the guy knows his onions , the guy came , I narrated everything to me , he told me from what he understands my compressor isn't bad at all, he opened my bonnet checked the Ac told me there was no oil in it... He recommended ND 11 oil for it , he told me those guys used cheap harsh gas for me , he said I'm lucky it would have cost me my compressor cos the compressor uses sensor , he asked if I perceived any gaseous smell when I on the AC ,I said no , he said my evaporator is good ,he told me my seals are one also the condenser bolt are broken , probably from the first guys that checked it out , they broke it and left it like that for me , he said I will change the condenser , I was like protesting , thinking it was another antics, he gave in and tried filling the gas, I was told to on my car Ac , when I on the AC there was little blast like sound , I thought a hose blasted, it was the condenser , he removed it and he performed a test told me to keep my finger close to one of the two holes , if he blows in air into one hole and it come out of the other , then it's good .. he did and no air came out.. he recommended I buy a new condenser , I bought a condenser and we did the test and air came out .. he fixed it , also fixed the seal and recharged the gas , the car is mortuary standard now ... He told me the other guys wanted to play games with me , they would have ripped me off without getting any solution.. he said it was just oil , good refrigerant and condenser was the problem
