He's only defending his monthly salary and that's fine. Anybody would do. But the truth is not in him. |
You are not adding that to use the short code *45665# cost 30 naira. |
Besthelp01:When he goes to work before 6am and comes back by 7pm? The best decision is to leave. |
ZiiVentures:How much were you paid per month where you are leaving? |
SangoOlukosoOba:Many times he's a prophet of doom. And the funny thing is that he drags the news to Nairaland with another moniker. |
Passionate888:I don't really know how much it's sold. |
odimbannamdi:Hello, I use the Autel Maxiscan Scanner. See pic attached.

FanOfMyself:The cost of maintenance for any car depends on the defective part. On this platform and particularly on the car maintenance thread, I've seen a part for all these Toyota Corolla quoted between 70-75k. I've forgotten the exact part. So it's usually not about the car but the defective part. I drive a Ford Focus 2009 and it's going 2 years now. Got it from the guy here. So far, I can say that its maintenence has not been that tough. The most important thing is servicing within two or two months plus. The engine sound still seems like when I got it even though I've had a serious accident with it. Ford makes their cars in such a way that when the car is very sick it literarily cries. For example, after the accident, I was still driving it that evening but by morning, water hard dried because the radiator was affected and I never knew. The engine light was blinking on the screen yet I was just naive about what it meant. And then the car started vibrating - the steering and even the sit, in fact, everything was vibrating and I was forced to stop. Someone had to check for me and then told me I was very lucky that the car didn't develop overheat even when all the water had leaked out. I was shocked. I thought the car would start jumping from one form of issue to the next after the accident but it never did. Even a bad sound that I've been hearing from the engine (I posted the video here) suddenly stopped without repairs. From my experience, I'd say Ford is cool. Things don't just spoil unnecessarily so you start spending money you never budgeted. However, like every other car coming from CA, once you get it, screen and deal with rust issues. They'd most likely be there, especially cars below 2011 or 2012. And that's not a major work because it doesn't affect the engine and once you attend to it very well, that's the end. Succinctly put, maintenence for me has been normal like every other car. And many times, if you don't find the main Ford part, you'll find something that matches it. I've changed only a few parts though - tyroid, engine mount and engine rubber cover thread to stop oil leakage. On the issue of a mechanic attending to you, I'd say you shouldn't worry yourself much about that. Even mechanics for other car brands are quacks. Most of them are quacks. So what are we talking about? My advice: if your car develops a problem, try to first of all understand the issue before going to the mechanic. Ask questions online (thank God for a man like Gazzuzz) and also watch YouTube videos about the problem. Make sure you also scan the car then take your error codes to engine-codes.com. Once you've done all these, any repair with your local mechanic would be a walk over whether the person is a Ford, Toyota, or Mazda mechanic. Don't depend on any mechanic to manually diagnose a problem or unilaterally take a decision on what the actual problem may be. Hear me: majority of them in Nigeria are professional quacks. I don't know if I've addressed all your concerns. |
Amdman post Ford cars abeg. I fit just vex buy another one. People respect my small Ford Focus because it's not a common ride and they think it's a big car. Na Police dey fear the car pass sef ![]() |

Why putting unnecessary spaces in the writeup? |
nacozee:Except it fails else don't remove it. BTW, I drive w/o it and there's no big deal. |

Goldencheese:Thanks for your words. I've talked to her that I hate what she did and she was like, "someone must say I'm sorry and she's sorry." It's just tiring for me. However, I made it very clear to her that the day I'd experience such attitude and disobedience would mark the end of our relationship - in or before marriage. |
philo04:It may be a sign for you to quit gambling. Trust me, it won't make you rich but only waste your time. |
Demigod22:I find it hard to believe that some women are configured to act in a certain disgusting way like she did while some act sanely. I find it difficult to believe some women have a right to act crazily emotionally. And I have a reason I chose not to pet or calm her to stop her display of folly. When a child misbehaves and you try to correct or discipline him, the child then starts crying and won't stop. He looks up and expect you to call him back to pet. You know the psychology? That moment, the child feels you were the problem and that's why you came back to pet him to stop. Next, he's going to misbehave again, knowing fully well that you'd call him back and pet him again to stop. And the nonsense continue. The child would never realize that he was the problem and he ought to keep quiet, apologize for his wrongs and behave well henceforth. In the future, the child grows to become a problem to others. He becomes an adult that can't control his emotions because there's no one to pet him now. He becomes a bully. He becomes a grown up baby. Who caused all of these, YOU! Do you know that this girl with me can end up giving birth to these nature of children? I think it's possible and I don't want that. I want to have children who are mentally and emotionally balanced. I want children that can reason and make sound decision, not influenced by negative energies. I've pet her in the past and I won't do it again. I knew that's what she wanted but she's not a child. It's a shame to see an adult behave this way and you guys are here encouraging me to have petted her. Pet her for what exactly? Because she can't control her emotions? I've actually challenged her to repeat a similar nonsense again. Na police go settle us. |
feezay86:You are talking trash. So because the North supports BH, it'll automatically make BH a struggle a success. Even with their support, why didn't they not succeed? Why aren't they succeeding now since the North support them and they even have their own in power? You see, that BH nonsense will always end in the North. Nigeria is not Afghanistan. |
samsegs:How long can I keep doing that? That's my problem. |
GTCO:Hmmmm! I'm just tired. |
Queenslander:I can apologize and she'll most likely accept it but next time she's angry, she'll recall everything. So what was the point? What's the point of apologizing to someone that doesn't forget wrongs? And she'll rub it on my face again and again. She got it wrong and still expects I listen to her? I can't do that. I can't apologize to someone who should rather apologize to me because she's crying and expect me to listen and pet her. Is that fair? |
Goldencheese:Thanks so much. It's not easy for someone to take out so much time to write like this to advise. Thanks again. I'm suspecting she's trying to be manipulative. She did it the first time and I held her to sleep. Another time, I noticed she was murmuring and she does that often. This time she waited for me to be done with my work and the moment I wanted to sleep she started her wahala. I just got mad because I felt like sleeping. I understand she loves me but this attitude of hers would end up pushing me away from her. Maybe petting is good but it's not something I like. It's not something I want to run in my family. I want to raise children who are emotionally strong and not a type that even at adulthood would be crying uncontrollably as if he or she is a baby and looking up to someone for petting. That's nonsense to me. Those kind of people are easily used because they don't have their mind or believe in themselves. This has been my fears with petting her. And in her tears, she told me I never used to ignore or touch her when she behaved that way and I knew within me she was driving to something and I won't do it. |
zed7:Thanks for this piece. Because I know very well it's not something I can manage. I'm not a kind of person that pets people, especially adult. And I don't like people that talks too much. She makes me feel like I've been so unfair to her. How can someone be reminding me of my wrongs? How about the ones she's done to me? If this is how God used to do, many would simply commit suicide. It's draining for me. |
EmptyGarden:I regret touching her but she was driving me crazy. I felt so angry. How can someone be reminding me of all the wrongs I've done to her and crying at the same time? I felt like sleeping but she won't let me sleep. I used earpiece to block my ears and she was talking about it. And then the headphone's battery got death. I begged her to keep quiet let the case just die but she won't. Is she a baby? How can someone not be able to control herself? |
Tokskob2008:I've strongly been thinking in this direction that's why I intentionally refused to hold her. This is not the first time she's doing this. |
ikorodureporta:So you get man's promotion or commendation for something you did because of God? |
Sometimes, when I start my car for the first time in the morning and just leave it to steam a little before engaging it, I notice that as the sound drops, the car seems to vibrate and behave like it going to go off but won't. What could be the problem please? |
How much is the pay? What qualification did you use to get the job? |
