Oblongata: I beg to differ sir!
Merely seeing friends/family that are married then Bachelors know what they are missing.
I have a very close friend who is a 43 year old bachelor and he has turned my kids to his kids...
Dude calls me way ahead of time to discuss how he would celebrate my kid’s birthday (without asking for his help o)
We (Me and wife) tried hooking him up a lot of times but he was very choosy. The last girl we hooked him up with (That appeared to be perfect. 24 year old Young lawyer Who just finished law college) he said she had incision at her back and that was it...
He confided in me sometime ago that he envies me a lot, and that he knows something is missing in his life, which is having a family.
Reason he had been treating my family like his.
Truth is: Bachelor’s know they are lonely, and they miss having a family. I can't stop laughing here because of your old bachelor friend See, you just have to be careful with that guy. He needs a woman sent from heaven because as far as this earth is concern, he can't find a perfect woman. At 43, he's not married yet selecting women. I don't know who should be selecting who here. |

As much as your story sounds touching, no one here can offer you the help you need right now. What you need right now is God's intervention in your life and nothing else.
It's very clear that yours is a spiritual battle and there's no way you can make any meaningful progress in life without dealing with the main issue - demons! Regardless of how much you may get here it can't help you.
You just need Jesus in your life to move forward. Ignoring Him is ignoring yourself: here and afterlife.
You talked about doing fraud. Well, you'll only end up going down and down until you are thrown into prison and then maybe death. Fraud is a way of death. Even when it appears it's working for you, it's still a way of death.
There's no shortcut to life apart from passing through Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life. If there was another way, you would've been making progress even little. But if you look closely at your life, you'd see that you've not been making any meaningful progress. It's one step forward and two or even more steps backward.
I'm not talking to you about Jesus because I just want you to accept Him. I'm talking to you about Him because that's the only way. Nothing else in this life can help you. Even if you are given 10M today, it won't take you far because there are demons at work in your life. Your story seriously reflects their activities.
I mean how can you dose beside a machine you know is very dangerous? Why is your dad not interested in you guys? Why did he drove your mom away? Why is your brother tilting towards becoming a criminal? Why was your attempt to write JAMB messed up? These are all pointers that the devil is at work in your life.
Look, don't give up. Don't become depressed. Don't feel discouraged. You have a bright future. And that's why these things are happening to you so you can curse God and take solace in the devil and his offers.
Don't look at your finger. It's gone and there's nothing you can do about it. Look up to God - the author and finisher of our faith. And the giver of life. It's only in Him that you can truly be happy. I don't see anything wrong with you. Your injury can't stop you from becoming anything you want to be in life. What you are going through is just a phase of life and how you respond to it will determine if you will ever be happy.
Forget about alms from here. It won't solve your problems. Make up your mind for God and seek Him sincerely. With time, you will begin to pick up and even you will attest to the change.
See, we face different things in life. We fight different battles. You don't know what I've gone through as a person. Many of us have stories. Don't make it easy for the devil to destroy you. Don't seek sympathy, seek a lasting solution.
If you need more guidance, send me a private message from my profile. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Biggest Threat Of 9/11-style Attack After Taliban Unveils Hellish Cabinet( Pix) by samuelson06(m): 11:27pm On Sep 08, 2021 |
SeraphEl: I have been watching your posts for some weeks. This I have observed and I have this to say to you from the Spirit of the Lord:
1. Your "Ministry" is motivated by and induces "fear". There's no LOVE emanating from your posts. According to scriptures, you are a nuisance AND God is not in fear. 1 Cor 13:1, 1 Tim 1:7.
2. It is originating from wrong and "deceptive" theology. That is: The Escaping or "rapture of church" before "all hell breaks loose". If that "hell" is the persecution (great tribulation), you are 100% wrong. Matt 24: 29-30, 2 Thess. 2 is clear the Church will be here to witness "all hell" of antichrist breaking loose.
3. You must spend a great deal of time carousing the internet looking for "bad news and terror". I have to wonder when you find the time for God in prayer and reading scriptures or evangelizing. Instead, most of your time is spent online so you terrorize people into thinking you are doing "God's work". SIR, you are not. And God is not impressed by your fearmongering messages. Change your method.
In summary: You terrorize people up with your fear based messages. Then you proceed to give them "false" hope of "escape" instead of building them up on how to "stand strong" thru the coming "hell".
What YOU fail to realize is that YOU, yourself, will end up being a victim of the antichrist when it shows up and you are still here. That's after all your terrorizing people with your posts, you end up hearing "depart from me for I knew you not...." Matt 7:21-23. You've said everything. And I'm glad that there's always someone to warn us when we misbehave. You've just done justice that. If it pleases him, let him change his ways else the judgement of God would come upon him. How can one man be digging up bad news all the time in the name of coercing people to repent? Who taught him his methods? Why always putting fears in the heart of people? Is he not indirectly working for the devil and thinking he's helping people to be saved? The funniest of it all is that he's created many monikers and switching through them. So called gospelpreacher1 = righteousness2 = holinessforever [and may equal to mannabbgrill ]. |

You didn't start making that amount of money from the day you were born, people have different time when they get things right. I hope you learn how to tell people the right thing in a good and humane way. Peace! Yea. ...process. And we are all going through that. Even the OP can take what I've said as part of that process. However, the most important thing is starting right, seeing the big picture and working towards it, and not just believing in a process that would never produce the right fruit such as the N-Power program. I'm not condemning it but resting on it as what you desperately need is a such way to remaining poor. |

Maj196: I understand you but know this fingers are not equal, you might be fortunate to have the right tools needed to get your skill but he's not. The Npower stipend might be his last resort that will enable him buy maybe a laptop to get the right skill to excel. There are many people suffering out there, it's not like they enjoy it but it's just the condition they've found themselves. The best thing to do isn't to add to their woes.
That being said anybody that has no future plan to help himself or herself after the program. Now that's the real failure. I'm perceiving that you're usually too soft on people, but that's fine But I was raised hard and I usually talk tough. If you stay around me, you'd realize that I care for people and I'd like to see everyone succeed. I'm not saying I've arrived but everyday, I strive harder and see how I can improve myself. But one thing that have inspired me to work hard is knowing that this country has nothing to offer me. To those of you who find my comment offensive, well, I'm sorry but I can't take it down. I wish it'd challenge the OP to take positive action but that's exactly why I said it. @OP: Don't kill yourself o. Your blood won't be on my head. I'm only challenging you to look beyond and start building. Every big thing starts small and I truly know you can make it happen. Don't see yourself helpless. Don't look at your situation today, but see the future; create a big picture and then start small. And as you do, your network would begin to swell and certain would give way for certain things to happen. Look, I've a story. I'm not some opportunist and I believe I'm now in a position that I can talk. So if you take what I'm telling you today, it'll make you. |

The Npower you are discouraging him from might be his stepping stone to greatness. So don't discourage people's humble beginnings. Peace You got me wrong. You don't behave like your life depends on anything and behave as though if you don't get that thing you are finished. That was my problem with him. Get a life and fuvk off NOTE: not everyone on Npower thread trying to get d stipend depend on it See, you don't know me and I don't know you. I'm only here so we encourage ourselves. Who am I to brag when I'm still a child with bosses to learn from and improve? I'm sorry if you perceive my comments in a certain way. But that's me and that's how I talk. My formula remains hard work + God's grace = success. So I can't possibly brag because I know it has never been completely up to me but 50% me and 50% God. See the screenshot attached? [REMOVED] That's from my account. Nigeria may be rough but opportunities still lies here that you can hardly find elsewhere. Anyone, especially young people can still make it in Nigeria. Making money can't stop me from talking to or encouraging others. I don't allow money to get into my head. Again, I don't work that hard again. There used to be a time that I worked so hard. I don't really do that again but I still work when my health permits. So if there be any sense in all I've said here, throw away the shafts and take the sensible things. Life is easy if you are ready to work hard. Life is easy if you are ready for God. |

meetme01: The 1st bolded shows something caused/pushed these young men to engage in drugs. We have rehabilitated a few.
Depression caused most of them to engage in drugs because their country failed them. Graduates amongst them have tried all their best to secure a job even as a cleaner or street sweeper, at least to make ends meet. The school we all went to ,did not teach skills that you are insuniating. To get that, is no beans.
Where we failed - students skills should be developed right from their 1st year. The skills these Universities are parading are archaic. This is 21st century, every student must be able to operate a computer and taught different skills making use of the computer. Not barbing, dress making etc.
The second bolded, you still don't get the message. Bro, some people can barely have 2 square meals a day. If you see phones some folks on this forum are using, you will marvel that, in this century, you're still using this type of phone.
Comparison kills joy. Not that they are lazy or they don't like success. They just don't have the wherewithal. There background is not at par with others. They struggled to graduate and make ends meet so when they see little opportunities, they grab it with joy.
That's the difference between your line of thought and theirs. As you said, Nigeria is f.ked. We all know but what do we do, commit suicide or push till something happens like others.
Those who cannot push further beyond their mental strength are into all sorts which we both know. Others are presently contemplating suicide. While others like OP whose mental strength ca push further and still pushing.
The only way we can help them is to be emphatic. We shouldn't talk them down or chide them as you said. It's really though out there bro.
Let's be out brothers keeper is this precarious time. We need ourselves like mad to move on. You may be talking like a social worker but I repeat again that the only way you can help people is to tell them the truth. I don't like talking to make someone feel good when such talk can't change their situation. Tell people the truth that what they're doing may only keep them poor. And if they feel taking their life instead of asking questions and taking action is the solution then they should go ahead. And then, depression isn't the major reason that people take to drugs but bad associations and environmental influence. We give up too early and we condemn too fast. We believe it only politicians that can make it. We feel it should be about fraud or nothing. We don't really believe in hard work and time to reap the fruit of our labor. We seem to be too lazy and looking for shortcut. I understand that the problem may be lack of ideas but anyone on this forum shouldn't be complaining about that. This forum forms part of my success story. The technology and business sections are there but every time we come here to talk about things that'll keep us in perpetual poverty. Why? Why can't we create a big picture of what we want to see and start small? From there, we can begin to build our knowledge around that thing and talk to like-minded people that are doing well in that area. See the point: Success isn't far from anyone that's ready for it. |

meetme01: You don't need to chide him or make him feel incompetent. It demoralising with lots of setbacks especially his mental health. You don't measure your standard with others. You don't know how he survived all through this to come thus far. You don't know his story. You have never heard or read his struggle to get a job.
Guy, I am a social worker. Depression and suicidal thoughts are on the rise. Appreciate people's effort. If you cannot assist people or accept them the way they are, it's better you leave them. Don't add to their problem. Virtually everyday, I deal with this social problem. It's really getting out of hands that we social workers are breaking down gradually.
The pressure out there is much. As colleagues, friends and family members, we need to ensure we put each others mental health into cognizance.
Believe me, in few years, rehabilitation homes will be full. Suicide rate will increase among the youths if we fail to put our mental health in the right shape.
It is well. I can understand if you are coming from the social work angle. But I can also tell you that most cases in care homes are those of youths abusing cannabis, especially for the male folks. I believe the best form of help is telling people the truth. Nigeria as a country is f***ked right now but no one is helpless. And the nature of the world has made it so. No one should limit themselves to the non-existing opportunities in Nigeria. That's retiring to poverty. |

I talked to the OP that way because of how he painted the situation and I was trying to chide him not to look helpless when he has all it takes for him to succeed. mujibson: I'd rather behave like a child than a grown idiot like you. You guys would come under people's thread and start spitting rubbish with shocking audacity and authority as if you're the alpha and omega of nairaland. Who tells you that everyone who learn skills are doing better than people seeking N-power opportunity? Who says the OP is not better than you in every meaningful things in life and still, wanting to benefit from N-power scheme?
If someone's post sounds childish to you then you can just ignore, keep mute or kill yourself instead yarning okoto meow all because you read and write. You are talking nonsense. This is how you guys make people to think that they are inpacitated and can't help themselves. What's in Npower for crying out loud? Npower might be your opportunity to benefit directly from the FG but it shouldn't be seen as a thing. That's how I see it. Keep quiet with your poverty mentality and allow people that have soiled their hands with genuine hard work and see the result to school you. I'm not someone that speaks what's not. Even if the OP was beside me physically, I'd tell him the same thing. No one should behave as though not getting N-power means they're missing big. What I said may be hurting but I said it that way so the OP or anyone here can look back into themselves and see what they can come up with and make it succeed. You don't do magic with creating wealth. You start small and then build. Everyone started small or from nothing but depending on your hard work, you can make it. If you like attack me or work on what I'm telling you. At the end of the day, it doesn't change who I'm but at least I've been able to pass a message that anyone can break even, even though surviving in Nigeria seems to be tough. As one man, you can still rise. Don't rubbish what you don't know. I've got result with hard work so I can talk like a king. |

Rickmann: I hear people deceiving themselves with this 'learning a skill' line and making others feel less of themselves or as though they are missing out on something..then money starts pouring from heaven the moment you do... Don't get me wrong, learning a skill is great but I also know a lot of guys that have and are still learning skill today but all they do is beg and live from hand to mouth..Oga, so it's not just about learning a skill o, it's the grace of God my brother and so it is in all other area of endeavour.
You never know what that 'common npower' programme can do in someone's life. I wonder the magic you want to do in Nigeria if it's not all about learning a skill. You didn't ask about the type of skill but condemning it totally. Well, it's about learning a skill and then ask for God's grace. God's grace can never work without your own effort. What work does for you is to help you bring God's attention to your endeavor because God himself says no food for lazy man. So if you work hard and you can't still pull through, it's either what you are doing isn't what can take you there or you are not sincere with the struggle. Don't ever write off learning a skill, especially with the battered naira else people like me would have relocated to the village years ago. I still stand by my words that npower is common and nobody should be so happy and fulfilled about it. Some days, I make more than that 30k in a day and other times 20k on average per day. How? Skill + God's grace. So whoever is waiting for the government or some company to employ them for peanut is free to do so. |

Selfmotivated: The best solution on ground now is to call for emergency, closure of all schools till further notice. Let security operatives combine force with the help of locals to unleash counter measures on kidnapping and terrorist activities. But, they won't do it. The bane of unrepentant bandits in the society do not augur well for good. Bandits in Northern Nigeria have beaten more than they can chew but the Nigerian forces would never go after them. ESN were in the forest pushing these guys back and they went they to comb the place and kill them so these guys can invade the SE and SS at large with ease. But these are same guys coming into town to load children into vehicles and take them to the forest but same security forces can't invade them. The injustice perpetrated by successive Nigerian government would never allow the country to grow. I've never seen a place where things work when there's injustice everywhere. Nigeria is a confused geographical space. Maybe an error of creation because I don't really see how things would change for the better in this country, especially with the current situation and arrangement of this country. As if what's happening isn't enough, even our own Southern leaders are still supporting the North to produce another president after the man there. What kind of nnonsense and confusion is this? I feel we should just prepare to face whatever the country brings at every point in time. Our politicians have sold us to the bloodsuckers. AntiBMC: Hehe.."search and rescue team". Like they rescued the Bethel students or the islammiya students?
Bandits attacked a school, operated for hours because, it can't be an easy task kidnapping 73 persons. There must have been a large number of bandits to successfully pull off this stunt.
Now how did more than hundred people disappear without catching the attention of any security agent? How hidden can they be that the so-called "intelligence sources" can't find them? The only thing nigerian intelligence sources know how to do is gossip about Bokoharam and ISWAP fighting demselves.
The fact is, the vseless security agents know exactly where the children are being held. Let's leave the North alone. They know the game they're playing. I only pity the poor children even though they may likely grow up to become bandits as well. They're using these so-called banditary to fund terrorism. Now, 'bandits' would demand hundreds of millions and they'd pay them to use the money and buy more weapons. Demons of a people and religion. But alas, their plans in Nigeria would fail. Nigeria isn't Afghanistan. |

OBTOREPA: I'm not seeing any actress or actor there. May her soul rest in peace. Even the ones that cried for camera? |
