oforjide:This is impossible nau. When it's not like the Obi is ready to die. There's no way in hell the Ojaja will prostrate before the Obi of Onitsha when the Obi's historical seat is known to all and sundry. |
desthan:Bode Thomas only barked till he died after being cursed by the Aláàfin. He didn't turn into a dog ![]() |
Ababbio:If you have, then fret not. It will take a while for indexing to be done. And if ads aren't showing, it has nothing to do with the ads.txt files, most likely ad serving has been limited on your account. It is normal these days. Just focus on your content. |
Rensolar:Only one season and he's declining? My question was actually rhetorical. How many seasons have Ramos spent as a cerebral defender? Vidic was more consistent than this. It is not a sin to refer to Van Dijk as a one hit wonder. |
Rensolar:Fast declining bawo? How many seasons has he spent as a breakout star that he is declining? |
The English media are pros at packaging mediocrity. Had the likes of Nesta, Maldini, Zanetti, Stam or even Ramos plied their trade in England, they would have gone ahead to become the standard in football defense. His Stat isn't even anywhere close to Vidic's and the world would never stop claiming he is the next best thing to slice bread. It was even only this past week he managed to pull 8 points in the FPL. It is one reason I regard most English hyped players, particularly the ones carefully packaged by the media. Van Dijk is good o but he is only an average player in my opinion. How they smuggled him into the Ballon D'Or in FIFA BEST in the first place beats my imagination. I honestly don't understand what the fuss is about a media hype being busted. |
IamAtikulate:Thought as much... You worked with a tier-three country company, which prolly explains why you are so hung up on SEO budgets. Why so foolish, at the emboldened? Perhaps you have never had the privilege to use the Premium version of Yoast before but it doesn't mean it is useless as you think it is. What plugin do you think most Nigerian newspaper use for their SEO? By the way, could you please furnish me with five other SEO plugins other than AIOSEOP, Yoast and Rank Maths ![]() While at it, you've never stopped screaming 'Yoast' like a dog on heat, care to mention what other SEO tools are available on other CMS apart from WordPress since you are short sighted that much ![]() |
[s] IamAtikulate:[/s] I didn't ask you this. Your point is AMP is for 'big boys'. What defines that and how many contents would you need to qualify as one? You are just as clueless as Atiku. |
IamAtikulate:It is very obvious you are just trying to grasp the totality of Yoast. Why would you spend 5k USD as SEO monthly budget if you are doing the needful? To advertise and temporarily push your site as ads on SERP and then it dies when you don't renew the coming months? KEYWORDS DON'T WORK ANYMORE IN 2019! Plus, you can actually set your Yoast plugin not to show those pesky content/reading optimization settings. They are basic suggestions and not the ultimate guide to ranking. Either Yoast or AIOSEOP, it doesn't which you use. The latter has great features for SEO experts and I prefer it. It however not complete and doesn't even have the redirect feature as Yoast (in taking premium). If you know what you're doing, you would not need to shell out 5k USD as SEO budget, monthly. As a matter of fact, you have no business blogging in the first place if you do that, save you are trying to push a campaign. |
AloyalNigerian:SEO is a forever project. It is dynamic in that it changes periodically all thanks to algo updates. Given that, I wouldn't venture into anything that would cause me to spend days on GSC save I want to disavow links. I hope it isn't Smush? |
IamAtikulate:A website with over 5k contents and another with 500 contents? Where's your brain? |
AloyalNigerian:AMP sure has its benefits but it didn't take long to figure out there were Javascript and CSS limitations with the AMP version. Worse is the fact that I was always getting notifications on GSC about some AMP issues with some of my contents. I do tons of contents daily and the last thing I wanted was spending time on GSC, trying to fix stuff. It wears me out. Even at that, choosing to stop using AMP on your site is much more difficult than setting it up. I spent days trying to clean up the mess after I disabled it. GPSI says my page speed on PC is 99 while it is 68 on mobile. That in itself is fair for me. |
enemmo:Emmanuel is a Nigerian plying his trade in Belgium, Club Brugge. Tau is a South African plying his trade in the same club, obviously. South Africans are reacting because their boy was not allowed to shine. Worse is that a Nigerian scored instead of their own. Call it the regular inferiority complex of our South African brothers. |
xendra:She's based in Nigeria just as Juliet Ibrahim. |
Another break up as always. She does this when her relationship goes sideways. The other time, she flaunted Brabus and the guy and claimed to be depressed while preaching the need to look out for good guys. She was recently engaged to one supposed Yahoo boy and now this is coming again... |
Ronaldo owns this year's Ballon d'Or. |
This half Nigerian albino should be reminded that players don't stay rich and influential forever. The way and manner he has been misbehaving of late, on and off the pitch is mind-boggling. |
IamAtikulate:Here's the catch; I don't pay for links. My contents get lifted without my permission and I ask the thieves to reference which they do out of fear. I don't have ANY social network in my site's name but the shares are something these days. Plus, I ditched AMP after two days of test but no AMP enabled site comes close in rank. Would you like me to explain further? |
monichannel:LMAO ![]() The emboldened is new! Dude prolly has no idea. How many competitors is he aware of that he'd look up? Perhaps he'd out write his competitors and then Google will look his way for having over 3000 worded content ![]() Dude is as clueless as Jonathan and Buhari combined. And to think he is an avid Atiku follower says a lot! ![]() |
IamAtikulate:Wanna bet? I'd allow you do expo on Google. ![]() |
IamAtikulate:First off, Panda and Penguin are not algorithms but algorithm updates. Perhaps you had no idea that with the many quality contents on legit and other huge sites, they got sized recently. The essence of the algo updates are to thin out lesser quality contents and reward rich contents. This does not imply you must put algo updates at the back of your mind if you're writing. Plus, no matter how rich your content might be, if you are content farmer, your blog will be duly slapped with a penalty. Schema markup is not really relevant in SEO content?Mr. Atiku, I never said this. Note I mention they only make sense on specific content types to enhance results on SERP. If you don't markup FAQs, then what are you doing? One of my sites is littered with results on Google's FAQ and I don't markup using schema. I won't share my trade secrets. As a matter of fact, FAQ accounts for my second traffic type on SERP after featured snippets. It is only normal to believe we know. But a couple of the techniques you think you know are not necessarily trendy. The essence of algo updates are to reward new sites with good contents rather than allow old sites with outdated, long aged contents sit on Google's first page. |
IamAtikulate:At the emboldened, I needed this relief tonight! ![]() So how do you outrank a site with a higher PR, MOZ Rank, DR and DA, by out writing such blog to death? ![]() Don't we all just love Nairaland? ![]() |
IamAtikulate:What the hell? ![]() Why do you sound cluessless? What purpose do the updates serve? Why would you link to a blog, add a no follow tag only because you want to shield such from penalty? Penalty only applies to manual, unnatural links such as the ones in comments. Plus are you aware that there are no penalties whether or not you follow or don't follow? LMAO! ![]() |
IamAtikulate:You highlighted so many rubbish. What has Panda and Penguin got to do with writing SEO worthy contents? LMAO! Nairalanders ehn! ![]() FAQs work like magic. It's the only relevant thing you mentioned. Schema markup isn't really an all out thing. It only comes into play when you are being specific and want certain rich features alongside your content on SERP. As much as Yoast seems babyish, it is still relevant and much more supportive than AIOSEOP even though I prefer the latter. AIOSEOP isn't for everybody. |
GloShare: ![]() Outbound links are scam. As a matter of fact. Set a no follow tag on all outbound links and treasure your link juice. Plus the idea of keywords and keyphrases in 2019 is disturbing. They don't work anymore. |
And I wasted my data on this video sha! . He chanted Ekelebe for one minute before a horrible auto-tune voice came in. When it is not techno or electro, do crying out loud? ![]() I'd rather stick to seeing Rudeboy's videos. |
dejiih01:What actually happened is a back door hard-coded into your theme or one of the plugins the previous web owner installed. Your website is clearly hacked and it seems to be a database affair. You might lose a whole lot but start by reverting to 2016,2017, 2018, or 2019 theme from the WordPress repository and install a database cleaner plugin. Clean your entire database and delete the entire files in your public html folder in cPanel, leaving just your theme. You might want to delete your .htaccess file and paste the default .htaccess code (get this online). |
PatrickOkunima:I can't believe anyone would state the emboldened with a straight face. There's a reason web designers charge lesser for blogs and more for certain websites such as e-commerce, consultancy websites, etc. The other part of your claim is a product of spending too much time and reading too many scam tales on the forum. From the viewpoint of a typical web designer with a 100% track record, there's no way you'd tell me 'quality of a website is a it a function of the price'. This is no baby designer tales. BTW What's your definition of a business website?Like seriously? I run a VA firm. I created my website myself: www.vapatrick.com with less than N4,000 (Considering that I had a free hosting space from my other site). Is that not a business website?Typically, I wouldn't undermine web designs but I would never take yours seriously with that design! I checked your testimonials and saw quoted words attributed to names I cannot verify. What happened to their pictures, your clients', I mean? You see, there are testimonials plugins for this or you can just get a decent theme with superb functionalities that better reflect your services and support your web design claim. And to think you offer web design services with a website like that says a whole lot! I sure wouldn't patronize you, sorry, and this is me being factual. You spent 4k on a domain name without a hosting package because you had some space on your reseller account. Pray tell, what becomes of the person who doesn't have such but intends hosting from the scratch? Don't make me laugh, please. I don't spend up to 4k on my own sites and their functionalities are superb and this is because I use non-nulled, premium themes which greatly enhances my UI. No way in hell someone would approach you and you'd charge the person 10k! There is no argument on the table here. None at all. |
PatrickOkunima:All the more reason it is not possible. How much is a good, basic hosting package and domain? What is the cost of the average premium theme considering the fact that 'DIY' is possible? Note the keywords 'BUSINESS WEBSITE'. If anyone is promising you that, they clearly need your money and won't mind setting up a website laced with malware and backdoor access to your core files. |
topboss:Your supplier is legit! ![]() |
We are people surprised? We all saw this coming. There was a video of some Nigerians caught in the India and the senior police officer kept hammering that Igbos are a problem to them that they are the ones involved in crime while those guys were weeping. It is no surprise knowing Pakistan is a neighbouring country to India. I'm sure the profiling was shared by India based on recent crime stats of Nigerians in the country. |
Abalado:What is this for Pete's sake? |
