Celebrities › Re: Daniella Okeke Reacts To Apostle Suleman's Sex Scandal by Sanchez01(m): 11:42am On Mar 15, 2017
dragonking3:
[s]Honestly I can't believe you wrote this. Now let me educate your feeble mind.[/s]

Firstly, when she mentioned Daniella okeke name, it was obvious that she will get a defamation of character law suit by Daniella because she didn't have anything to do with Otobo and apostle suleman issue.
Try to at least sound intelligent for once. She claimed there is a Nigerian actress who is also in the game with the Pastor while she was in custody and when she was asked, she claimed she would be able to provide her name once she gets out and also noted that she knows the actress facially. With that in mind, the world was waiting for her to provide a name, and voila! She did. Interestingly, a thread was reported in December last year by TunezMediaTV with Suleiman's car in Daniella's compound, even before Stephanie came out to mention her name. https://www.nairaland.com/3536468/daniella-okeke-flaunts-exotic-cars

It is not all that difficult now, or is it?

Now, having a contact with Otobo and Suleiman is not the issue here but going to mention Daniella okeke name in public media without permission will land her a law suit if you don't know.
Wrong! So long her allegations are true, then there is no ground for defamation. If I see a man beheading a fellow man, and I have the act on tape and choose to go public with the information, would I need the permission of the culprit to go public just because I fear I could be sued for defamation? You amuse me, really. You must understand that Keyamo would have weighed the odds before having Stephanie go public with Daniella's name. His reputation is equally on the line as he is representing the former.

Also note that Suleiman is sueing for blackmail etc while Daniella okeke is sueing for defamation of character which is very evident all thanks to Otobo.
You don't need to be a Law student to tell the difference between blackmail and defamation now, do you?

Apostle Suleiman is suing for being extorted but not for defamation. Let us understand the two, please. There is nothing evident about Daniella's suing for defamation. A news was reported in December about a car no one suspected or bothered to research on, Stephanie mentioned her name in March and turned out Daniella's vehicle is registered in Apostle Suleiman's name; sets her profile to private on Instagram almost immediately and is just coming out about a week after. My maths is bad but I don't need to be a genius to figure a thing here.

Note that Suleiman never denied knowing her but he said that she was somebody he had helped financially in the past. Big difference.
Not just that, he said;
1. She is a stripper (Apostle was trying to help a stripper get back on her feet)
2. She has links with Boko Haram (Yet, he knows her. Is it safe to consider Apostle her sponsor then?)

To your last question, what the apostle did was very smart, why? She was arrested and taken to court without anyone knowing about it but Otobo has escalated the issue to a whole new level that she can't handle. As for terrorism, everything was provided in court that's why she was taken to court and not just media trial. Big difference
I'm stunned shocked

Let's break it down, shall we?
1. She was arrested in a UBA branch on grounds of terrorism and blackmail.
2. She was taken to court without being represented by her lawyer.
3. How come she got out with a huge allegation as terrorism hanging on her neck, even without being represented by her lawyer if indeed there were damning evidences against her? shocked

Now let me ask you some few questions or mine

1. Otobo claimed that apostle suleman promised her marriage. If he did, has she provided a written agreement, video or audio evidence backing up such claim? If yes please provide them here.
So if you talk to a girl about marriage, you guys always put pen to paper? Interesting!

2. Otobo claims that all her evidences were in her laptop before it got miraculously stolen. So what evidence does she plan to provide?
It seems you didn't see the part of her video where she mentioned that Suleiman used her influence to freeze one of her accounts. Luckily, according to her, it is not the same account Apostle has been sending money to. She claimed she would present her statement of account in due time, let us all wait now, shall we?

3. Otobo said that apostle suleman did the traditional marriage in her father's house which the father denied before she changed her mouth to say it was done in apostle suleman office. Which story are we to believe since it is evident that her story changes everytime.
Well, this is agrey area I have or nothing of.

4. Otobo claimed to be pregnant for apostle suleman. Has she provided her pregnancy test and can she prove how apostle suleman was responsible for her terminated pregnancy? Remember she has to provide evidence not word of mouth.
I'm truly stunned again shocked

I hope you know a woman could verify if she is pregnant or not by getting an off-the-counter pregnancy test kit?

5. Otobo couldn't bail herself from detention easily due to no money but she now has enough money to hire keyamo, one of the most expensive lawyers in NiNigeria where did the money come from?
Wrong! Keyamo, according to SR's first reportage on the issue was her lawyer even before she was arrested. IT IS POSSIBLE SHE IS GETTING HELP FROM GOD-KNOWS-WHERE but that Keyamo is involved only goes ahead to show that there is more than what we know. Again, he would not have taken the case if it was a dead end from the start.

6. Why is Otobo not taking the case to court already despite having enough evidence to bring the apostle down?
Don't you see the big game here? Otobo and Keyamo are only out to see Suleiman deny the many claims before bringing up evidences that would further destroy what is being nursed.

Apostle Suleiman should have taken this to court already, don't you think? But of course he can't. Stephanie Otobo might have exaggerated in some areas, but that is not to discredit her claims. There is an atom of truth in her claim and it explains why Apostle Suleiman's team is kept mute.

Some of you are talking like you are uneducated. Do you know what defamation of character means? I really pity the Otobo prostitute and the foOlish lawyer keyamo that is handling the case. Time will tell.
Since you are educated, does it not interest you to know that Apostle Suleiman is not hell bent on suing for defamation of characterhuh

Was there contact between Stephanie and Suleiman? Yes!
Did Suleiman know her before now? According to him, YES!
'Stephanie is a stripper!' How did Apostle Suleiman know this?
How did Apostle Suleiman get prior notice that the lady was in Nigeria before getting her arrested and branding her a terrorist?

Until you can answer the question, stop trying to become a defender.

Nice Strategy.

That is how to handle it. Especially when u dnt know what they will bring next as evidence. The shhit eating stuff is still there.

The car on instagram was a big blow. So my dear keep forming your lawyers are working on it.

Not saying much will make people forget your name with time. No lawyer is doing anything.

Not the childish way Apostle handled it. Threatening everybody with hell fire
You nailed it!

Stephanie and Keyamo only want these folks to come out strongly denying the claims before they're slapped with another evidence.

Denying the allegation would be an instant death. If I am to believe anyone among the trio, it would be Stephanie Otobo.

And is it not strange that Apostle Suleiman did not announce gifting a vehicle to any actress as his usual practice?

Igbos have not held the presidency since the 60s with some people saying with effrontery that they don't trust igbos with the presidency and you are yapping nonsense that your family(not my people) are tribalistic.
If that is not national tribalism aimed at an ethnic group, then tell me what it is?
You dey craze for head well well. I specifically called you out because you claimed to be Igbo. I couldn't bother about the brainless marauding afonjas on this thread.
While your post wasn't directed at me, I feel it would be right to point a few things to you. It is a shame that one of the three majority tribes is yet to produce a president since the fourth Republic. However, the fault has been that of none other person but the Igbos.

The South East was supposed to produce the President in 2015 but the same Igbos distorted the zoning process by pushing Jonathan forward. How about we talk about Ojukwu who contested against Obasanjo? Without mincing words, his very own didn't even consider,et alone vote for him.

If the Igbos could not throw their weight against a man as Ojukwu, were you expecting the Yorubas and the South South to do that? It is not rocket science, I believe. The problem of the Igbos is caused by the Igbos themselves. Unfortunately, many don't seem to remember past events much.

You all curse Luggard for lumping different people into becoming an entity when in reality, it was Nnamdi Azikiwe who forced the Hausas into the Zoo and also moved against secession.

Just accept that celibacy is not gonna work and allow them have partners...... even Peter you guys claim to be the first pope had a wife and Inlaws.
Ignore him. However, let me be quick to point out that this is not a Catholic vs Pentecostal issue. After all, the average Pentecostal pastor and a Rev Fr. are both seen as men of God.

It doesn't matter if allowances are made for the priest or not. It is a common thing among Catholic priests today. Just recently, I found out one whom many considered a no nonsense priest somewhere around had been having an affair with a friend for almost 7 months. Worst still, they check in and out of hotels without being seen. The same applies to Pentecostal pastors too.

For those who would blame the girls around a man who willingly vowed to keep himself, you can only Marvel at their folly. These folks are human before anything and they find the perfect avenue to deceive those who choose to forever pledge cult support to them. It's a sad situation.

Politics › What We Discussed With Buhari — Saraki, Dogara by Sanchez01(op): 2:37pm On Mar 14, 2017
https://i1.wp.com/media.premiumtimesng.com/wp-content/files/2017/03/President-Muhammadu-Buhari-resumes-office-6.jpg?w=957

The president of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, said they visited President Muhammadu Buhari to discuss matters of “national interest”.

The leaders of the National Assembly met with the president behind close doors for 40 minutes.

Mr. Saraki told State House correspondents that the president “engaged them very well”.

He said they specifically “came to discuss issues and activities of the National Assembly during the absence of the president”.

Mr. Saraki said the meeting centred on the “budget, the economy, CBN, Euro bond, the issue of the ambassadorial list, the stability in the Niger Delta, and a whole range of issues”.

Mr. Saraki said the Senate has a target to pass the 2017 budget this month.

On his perception of the president’s state of health, the senate president said Mr. Buhari met with them for 40 minutes, adding “I was not talking to myself.? He is doing very well, we discussed issues of national interest”.

On his part, Mr. Dogara said they were not at the villa to assess the president’s health.

He said the journalists who are always there surely knew the president was doing well.

On the relationship between the executive and legislature, Mr. Dogara said it was not in the place of the legislature to fight the executive.

“We fight on issues but mostly issues of national interest. We fight on behalf of the people for the purpose of progress.

“There is one government and no division. If he fails, we all fail, so it is in realisation of this that we always extend the needed support to ensure that he succeeds, so that the government will be rated as a success,” he said.

Politics › NANS Ends There-day Prayer For Buhari, Demands Education Subsidy by Sanchez01(op): 10:40am On Mar 13, 2017
- The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has ended it three-day prayer for President Muhammadu Buhari

- The students in Abuja during a thanksgiving service at the Faith Miracle International Church concluded its prayer on the quick recovery and safe return of the president

- The students also canvassed the introduction of subsidy in education sector to check insurgency and rising crime in the country

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has ended it three-day prayer for President Muhammadu Buhari.

The students in Abuja during a thanksgiving service at the Faith Miracle International Church concluded its prayer on the quick recovery and safe return of the president.

The students also canvassed the introduction of subsidy in education sector to check insurgency and rising crime in the country.

The association also advised President Buhari to seek ways of establishing special courts on anti-corruption matters, saying the delay in prosecution of individuals involved in corruption cases was inimical to the ongoing anti-corruption war.

The president of NANS, Chinonso Obasi, said the introduction of subsidy in education would afford every Nigerian child the opportunity of being adequately educated.

Obasi appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to consider such as step as one of his legacies.

"We, the Nigerian students are the most marginalized people in this country and so, President Muhammadu Buhari's administration has not shown any love to the Nigerian students.

"We are appealing to him to subsidize education. When you train a Nigerian child, you have trained a nation. He should not leave the responsibility of education the Nigerian child to the parents because if you don't train us, in time to come, we will be more hazardous than Boko Haram terrorists, and more dangerous than the militants.

"Let's save the future by educating every Nigerian child. Government should subsidize education, they should have some percentage of what they pay to also help the Nigerian child to go to school.

"If people are not educated, they will act under ignorance. It is at this platform of ignorance that you may not even hold them liable because they had the opportunity of directing them on the right thing to do earlier.

"The right thing is educating a child so that he could know the difference between right and wrong, legal and illegal. Nobody wants war in his country but there will be war if people are not educated, people can be lobbied to do things just to survive.

"A lot of them who have found themselves in a lot of atrocities and even dealings today are doing them not really because they were born to do that. It is because they must have been diverted by people of bad minds or people who don't mean well.

"Therefore, for the country or the Federal government to safeguard the future of the country, they must redirect their funding to education, with a view to educating every Nigerian child.

"If a child does not have what it takes to go to school, if parents don't have what it takes to go to school, the government must come in, to help the Nigerian child to go to school."

Mba!

The sickness he's suffering from is not a terminal disease!. PMB will attain full recovery and will complete his term and possibly another term.

Check history book and you'd discover that many presidents of great countries of the world have fallen sick while in office. The sickness didn't make them be impeached or resign. From USA to UK to France to Germany, their leader suffered different sickness from stroke to polio, from heart attack to Crohn's disease, from bone disease to severe diabetes, yet they all served their term and many even were re-elected.
A sickness is a disease and vice-versa. What matters is the duration of such sickness/disease. As much as your exhibition of loyalty is impressive, I'd like to ask you a genuine question; does that man look like someone who can spend six more years on that seat to you?

SR earlier reported the President is suffering from Crohn's disease, and Crohn's is a terminal disease. It can only be managed. You don't compare other world leaders to ours because two things are wrong with him, as it stands;

1. Old age.
2. The many illnesses and diseases.

First it was his prostrate, then ears, then prostrate again and now Crohn's disease. An old man's body is like an old watch/mechanism. One after the other, every part breaks down, even after thinking he had been cured. It's like fixing an old, tired balloon.

Politics › Buhari Will Not Resume In A Dramatic Way – Presidency by Sanchez01(op): 9:49am On Mar 13, 2017
- Presidential aide, Garba Shehu, explains that Buhari needs is a careful and slow resumption of duty following the president’s return to Nigeria from a medical vacation abroad

- Garba says Buhari will be fully in charge once the letter notifying the National Assembly of his resumption gets to the lawmakers

- The presidential aide, however, states that Buhari style of leadership right from inception does not dictate every detail in governance
The presidency has downplayed expectations from Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari will resume work in a “dramatic way” after spending 50 days in London, treating an undisclosed ailment.

The senior special assistant to the president on media, Mr. Garba Shehu, stated this during an interview with Arise News Network on Sunday, March 12, in Abuja.

Garba said the president needs is a careful and slow resumption of duty following his return to the country.

He said: “Let me first of all caution that he (Buhari) is not going to start in a dramatic way. He has been away from the country for nearly two months, so he needs to get into the temperature of the place.

“For instance, yesterday (Saturday), he went through the newspapers page by page, and he read everything that interested him.

“So he needs to get back to that place. The thing is that he’s basically human like all of us. He is coming out of an ailment and like he himself had said, he needs to start gradually.

“Don’t expect the president to be given neck-breaking schedules or punishing schedules like from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., or sometimes to 1a.m. to 2 a.m..”

Responding to the question whether Buhari would be fully in charge once he resumes, Garba said the moment the president’s letter goes to the National Assembly notifying the lawmakers of his return, that means the president is in full control.

The presidential aide explained that Buhari style of leadership right from inception does not dictate every detail in governance.

Garba said: “This is not a president, by his style of leadership, whose hands dictate every detail. People make the observation that perhaps ministers under this government are the most powerful ministers we have had in this Republic.

“He doesn’t call each month to say that a contract should go to Mr. A, B or C, or that road should be channeled through this or that.”

Garba further elaborated on the role of the vice-president, adding that “even before the president’s departure, the vice-president had a full plate”.

“He has again, on record, been one of the busiest vice-presidents in our country; the president has delegated so much to him."

Meanwhile, a report by The Punch indicates that President Buhari has no schedule on his itinerary as he resumes work on Monday, March 13.

According to the report, no assignment has been scheduled yet for Buhari as he formally resumes from his 51-day medical vacation.

The president had told state governors and top government officials at the Presidential Villa Abuja on Friday, March 10 that he would continue to rest over the weekend and allow Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to work.

The protocol unit of the presidency is saddled with the responsibility of preparing weekly scheduled assignments for the presiden

The itinerary is however open to amendments if the situation arises.

An unnnamed government official, who was quoted in the report attributed the “blank” nature of the president’s schedule for Monday to the fact that Buhari only returned to the country on Friday.

The source said the first draft of the president’s schedule for the week was always ready on the preceding Friday.

Interesting read. When you blindly defend anyone the person remains resolute in error.
It is a pity that many would willingly put themselves out to defend pastors because they are pastors. They are human before anything. Without trying to sound like I already concluded that the ongoing saga is settled, there are possibilities that Apostle Suleiman could be innocent, but then, he has not come out to negate or deny the allegations.

This was similar to what Fatoyinbo did back then. We do far worse than these folks in our closet but when you are charged with responsibilities that require being uptight all the time, you are expected to do so without complain.

I can only assume he comes out to deny the allegations and tackle them one after the other in the coming days.

I think I'd comfortable brand myself a pacifist but then again, the most gentle pacifist would respond in the face of aggressive assault. The North has pushed other parts of the country to the wall that the only way to responding is by acting like them

I don't think you should always stay calm in a tense situation, because you might not ever confront the problem. Maybe it's better to actually let yourself be tense - and find a solution.

my friend stop misleading people, you hv probably never been to spain,so dont give false information about what you are not very sure of.
What I'm not very sure of, you say? Knowledge is at your disposal, please, and the best you can do is get a hold of it.

There is no misleading here. Kindly get more knowledge via the links I provided and forever stay off my mentions. You are about the fifth person claiming I am misleading people. Quite Franky, get read up on Catalonia and Spain.

It is quite shocking that most of you know nothing about trends and separatists in the world over but are quick to shout Scottish referendum. Barcelona (Catalonia) is about conducting her second referendum within three years, and you guys are still fighting on who to lump into your delusion of a quest. Please get some understanding, sir. It is free..
