When did the Catalonia genocide take place huh . Definitely not in recent years. Correct me if I'm wrong. You make it sound as if it happened in the year 2000 till date.
Everyone has the right to air his views. Some countries that are part if UK are even thinking of leaving.
Why did it take place? Simple! To suppress Catalonia and forcefully make them forget their root and heritage.

My point, exactly, it happened years ago, today, it doesn't make any difference. Madrid refuse Barcelona playing at the Santiago in the Copa final because of the political consciousness among Catalans. A referendum took place in Catalonia in 2014, her people rejoiced after majority voted that Catalonia become a sovereign state. In 2017, nothing has happened and Catalans are talking about another referendum this year. Go figure.

When staunchly defend pastors, we;

1. Reinforce their actions, either good or bad.
2. Prove that indeed we have been brainwashed and are blind.
3. Forget that the pastor is a man which is capable of falling or making mistakes.
4. Show that we are incapable of thinking for ourselves since the Word of God is far from our reach.
5. We unconsciously join such pastor by driving out young believers.
6. Show that we don't follow God and study His Word but the Pastor.
7. We unconsciously give room for cult followership rather than the truth.

REVEREND CHRIS OKOTIE

The stylish man of God once claimed God had instructed him to vy for the office of President of the country that he had been assured by God that he would win. I could remember his members claiming 'God has spoken once and twice have they heard' and so on. The aftermath was hilarious. The pastor lost without a single word from him. Worst still, he didn't make top 5.

APOSTLE SULEIMAN

The outspoken Apostle has had a couple of controversies before now. His infamous prophecy on the return of the then incumbent President, Goodluck Jonathan which turned out to be a huge miss did not see the man of God tender an apology to members of his church and Nigerians alike.

His recent scandal which has generated some much controversies have been perceived to be political for speaking against Fulani Herdsmen. I could remember supporting him during the outburst but then, it does not take away the fact that something indeed happened with the lady in question, particularly contact.

While Christians are staunchly claiming the gate of hell will not stand against the church (I say amen), Apostle seems to be getting lost in the web of his responses to the issues raised by the young 'stripper'.

According to the pastor;

1. The lady is a stripper. My question, 'how did you know she is one and where did you meet her to confirm this?'

2. I was only trying to assist her get her life together. My question,' there is nothing wrong is sending thousands of Dollars to someone with the intent of helping them, but why would you ask that she be arrested, claiming she has links with a terror group in Nigeria?'

Interestingly, the Apostle has filed a petition, asking that he be paid a jaw breaking amount as damages when he is yet to tackle any of the issues raised by the lost soul cum stripper.

The stripper in question has mentioned the name of one of the ladies the pastor rolls with and coincidentally, the actress in question once posed with the Pastor's vehicle. So many unanswered questions but the last thing right now is saying El rufai and the North is solely behind this.

We shall wait as more of the mystery unravels on this.

'PROPHET' TB JOSHUA

The most controversial pastor in among all Nigerian pastors is always in the news, if not for his prophecy and philanthropic gestures, then for the wrong reasons.

Here is a man who confidently prophesied about the United States' presidential election but got shocked just as the world when the underdog won. Quite frankly, apology was all that was expected from the Holy prophet but it never came. As always, his fans and members claimed he 'he was technically correct' as the 'female he saw' in his prophecy as the female aspirant won by popular vote.

Question is, what happened to the part of 'I saw a woman become the president of the United States, she will have issues with some bills as she would face stiff opposition in the House'?

The bribery saga which was leaked by a journalist after his guest house collapsed?

The implication: Don't hold me by my word. If it happens the way I said it, then it is correct. If it doesn't, then it never came from me and I could be technically correct.

PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME OF CHRIST EMBASSY

The 'worded' pastor can be regarded as the most second controversial pastor after TB JOSHUA. Unfortunately, his worded knowledge could not save his home after his wife filed for divorce revealing some damning allegations against the sultry pastor. His response? 'She (his wife) is too carnal. The church of God must March on as we there are so many grounds to cover.'

While the only ground for divorce is explicitly stated in the Scripture, the Pastor Chris and the wife divorced after the woman complained she could no longer stand a marriage wherein her physical and emotional needs could no longer be catered for.

Many were torn between the man of God and his wife but staunch members of the church believed he could not be wrong. Long story short, pastor is single, at least publicly and everything seems well.

The implication: You can divorce if emotional/physical needs are not met in marriage.

Christianity Etc › Why We Must Stop Defending Pastors by Sanchez01(op): 7:32am On Mar 12, 2017
The analogy of the shepherd and the sheep as culled from the Holy Book is mostly directed at the head of a church and the people he leads. Unfortunately, most pastors don't live up to the expectation as they have left the sheep more vulnerable than it ever was.

Believe me when I say that majority of Nigerian pastors are responsible for the sharp increase in atheism for the past decade, owing to their lifestyles many consider flamboyant. Rather than look up to Jesus as explained in Hebrews 12:2, 2/3 of Nigerian Christians would rather prefer to look up to their pastor which breeds the perfect avenue for brainwashing - my pastor cannot be wrong.

Wrong prophecies, exploitation, fake miracles, organized testimonies and scandals cannot be wrong in the face of members of these kind of Pastors.

Below are scenarios of Pastors and some events in which their members reinforced, even in the face of stark realities.

PASTOR BIODUN FATOYINBO OF COZA

When the COZA saga took place, most members of the church stood by their pastor who exploited a young, confused Christian but forever stayed mum over the issue after promising a 'robust reply'. The lady, today, has confessed to being an atheist after believing that nothing lies in Christianity, all thanks to a randy man who was bent on showing her a whole new level of grace.

The Implication: Pastor did it and went away with it, perhaps I might not be condemned if I do the same. Adultery seem regular before God.

Most of you don't understand what you claim to stand for. The Spanish force is more brutal than the NPF on secessionists in Spain.

That they don't touch Nigerians there does not mean they're civil. Have any Catalan protest against Spain and such a person is gone. This is why Catalans have only the football pitches Barcelona play on as their only means of protest. The same applies to Basque. Both people have been silenced in Spain and the EU has turned a blind eye to it. As much as everyone has right to association, the world see separatists as rebels/terrors. Texas have been subjected to brutal tortures in the past just because they no longer want to be a part of the United States just as Catalan and Basque.

Kindly Google 'Catalan Genocide' to read a thing or two.

No Country takes secessionists with open arms. After reading to your satisfaction, kindly contact come back to brand Spain a Zoo.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Why Experience (with No Degree) Should Be More Valuable Than A Degree by Sanchez01(m): 7:27am On Mar 11, 2017
I totally agree but I am not comfortable with the 'without a degree' part as it is totally impossible to be without a degree but gather experiences over the years, because the man with so many experiences started small at first. I would prefer you say someone with a lower class of degree; say a pass or even third class.

Personally, I have come to categorize resumés in two; that of an experienced fellow, which doesn't carry his class of degree and that of a rookie, which he ignorantly displays without cognate experience. The latter, I believe, does so to fill the void for his inability to produce enough experience. However, some companies fall for this and often resort to training folks in this category. Unfortunately, most companies these days consider training and retraining processes expensive and tend to avoid them at all cost, just so they could cut expenses.

The primary reason why most graduates with amazing grades cannot land a job is because they take pride in their certificates, believing it would fetch them everything in life without lifting a muscle. The effect of this is a long term one having rejected jobs they consider way below them. Eventually, they are considered unemployable and be termed unproductive.

Ironically, those who go far and sit on the food chains in their sectors are mostly those with years of cognate experiences while only a too few sit with them with their said high valued class of degree. Years of cognate experience far outweighs any class of degree.

Deniz Aytekin is set to be sidelined by Uefa after the referee came under pressure for several decisions in Barcelona’s 6-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain.

Barcelona pulled off an incredible comeback after heading into the second leg 4-0 down.
The Catalan giants conceded an away goal to seemingly kill the game before and scoring three goals in the final seven minutes.
Neymar’s superb free kick in the 88th minute sparked a goal rush as Barcelona scored the winner in the 95th minute.

Aytekin consulted with his assistant before awarding the penalty (Picture: Getty)

The penalty decision that put Barcelona within a goal of pulling off the unlikely fightback was controversial as Luis Suarez went down under minimal contact.
Aytekin pointed to the spot much to the fury of the PSG players who had already seen the referee book Suarez for diving earlier in the game

The referee consulted with his assistant behind the goal despite having a better view of the incident and being closer to the action.
The German is now set to be taken off any future Champions League games and will not be given the chance to referee another high profile match this season.

Marca claim Aytekin could be demoted to lesser games and may even be sidelined from officiating all together as UEFA wait for the heat to die down.

Muhammad bought a dog and named the dog Ibere and Ibere in turns bought one and named the dog Muhammad. No one has monopoly in insult.

And as much as we are all Nigerians and could choose to go anywhere in the country, you would also agree with me that there are places where you would feel out of place and accepted mostly. That was what I meant in my previous post.

It is stupidity when you thousand kilometers away from home but choose to ignore all warnings because you can't stand being insulted. It makes no sense. Dwelling among a people that are not directly from where you are from requires a whole lot of wisdom because everything bothers on orientation. Insult is not worth losing one's life over.

It's possible. Way back in the 90's when the Yorubas and Hausas would clash in Mile 12 where I grew up, the Seriki would place a call to military personnels who are actually Hausa folks to shield and protect them while the Hausa folks set Urvans ablaze. We had a sweet neighbour at the time who would take everyone (I mean everyone in the Face-me-I-slap you house) to the Seriki's court, just so we could enjoy some protection.

It is the same today. Unfortunately, the level of rot and bias in the system has assisted them in getting away with most crisis.

Please don't generalize when making statements like this. I am a Hausa man and I have every regard for human beings irrespective of who they are.

You can't use the actions of a few less educated who fled from their homes in search for every means of livelihood to describe a whole ethnic group.

These okada people and other hausas doing menial jobs in your community are of course a minority side when talking about hausas and even me a times I detest their actions but I don't blame them because you can't expect water to come out of a desert, meaning you shouldn't expect a less educated person to behave the way you behave.

Many Hausa people do good things everyday but because of the way our media outfits are, they like being prophets of doom by reporting bad things instead of good ones.

Good Hausa people exist and they are the best set of people you would wish to associate with in your life.
I already mentioned in an earlier post that there are a handful of good Hausa folks, however, I disagree with your assertion that they form the minority.

Not like I mean to slight you or your people but there are more uneducated Hausa folks than the educated ones. It explains we most people believe all Hausas are irrational in their approach, which is totally untrue. I once had one as a neighbour in the 90's and he is just about the sweetest Hausa man ever.

Unfortunately, the educated and liberal ones are minute. And quite frankly, the Hausas, educated or not, constitute the bulk of nuisance plaguing the country, so long we mention or talk about civil unrest.

Enough of just keeping quiet.
I do. Don't blame the people for this, but the government. A lot of Yorubas claimed soldiers joined the Hausas in attacking them during the Mile 12 crisis last year, the same happened in the East with the Fulani Herdsmen. Losing all sense of decorum on their turf is a recipe for instant death. Trust me, the Hausas in Ife would seek the intervention of the Ooni to persuade and calm the people of Ife. I have witnessed this happen before.
