The husband is guilty. I saw the video, say almost two months ago. I know the man in question and he's a pastor. That's the most disgusting thing about this whole drama.

He was clearly walking naked in what seems to be a hostel room or a guest house. Pastor Olabode has no iota of shame, not one. I can only imagine what the home must be like in the midst of the wife's display of tenacity and unwavering support.

His colleagues in OAU, in Humanities would soon be revealed. It's all a matter of time.

Ofada Rice from Ogun State

Abakaliki Rice from Ebonyi State. This stones in the rice are more than the rice seeds itself.
You won't believe that the stone is the more reason I buy the Abakaliki rice grin. Plus there is this special aroma that it gives off when boiling. Ofada rice is closely related to Abakaliki rice, or so I believe.

Imagine the dude always putting his pix on every stuff in the State.

Last year I visited Awka Government House and to my surprise I saw about 55% of the staff wearing clothes that has his picture on, as if that wasn't enough, I also saw an inscription "Willie is working" on a flyover.

The fact is he personalises every of his achievements like a super celebrity. cheesy
Anambra's packaging is a product of politics and self glorification. The first few pictures all have colourful packaging and most people would ignorantly buy them thinking they're foreign products, unlike that of Anambra which comes off as campaign packaging.

There is a similar pattern with Abakaliki rice, unfortunately, I have grown fond of it but it scares me each time because the bag comes off as something that was sealed in a nearby shop.

My next bag of rice would have been something as the first few, if it was possible to get them in Enugu here. Beyond encouraging people to patronize home made products and brands, we should strive to work towards packaging the little we have to mean so much.

I can only imagine myself laying my hand on Obiano's rice and someone would ask if I've finally been able to get my own share of the campaign rice undecided

Abakaliki rice does it for me. It's so close to Ofada rice smiley

Unlike you and your kind, we love and believe in this government and we are standing by our president while he gets us out of 55 years of rot and decay and especially 16 PDP years that left us wrecked and drained.

When I gave my vote to PMB, I was not foolish or under any kind of illusion that our problems are fixable in less than 2 years and if you voted for PMB based on that fact, you shouldn't have bothered.
I wish I could say the same, but I stopped living in denial. I wouldn't have bothered waiting three or five straight years before seeing the wonders of Buhari but his current handling of the country clearly shows he has no plan for the country.

1. This is a President who used the Nation's resources on weekly junketeering.
2. Till date, we all remain clueless on the retrieved loots from corrupt public officials.
3. Fulani Herdsmen have been threatening the peace of well meaning Nigerians and the President stayed mum but was quick to 'condemn' terrorist attack on France.
4. There's no clear cut economic policies in place to measure up to the current problems of Nigerians.
5. Refineries are yet to be fixed but the President is on a quest to get oil from the North.
6. The said corruption he is fighting is staring and smelling right under his nose yet he still hasn't done a thing.
7. Unfortunately, security services and agencies have been reduced to lapdogs by the presidency.

Until these problems are tackled, Buhari is still the most terrible thing to happen to us as a democratic country and I don't regret losing faith in his government.

This Op never supported Buhari. He just wants to take advantage the fact that his supporters are complaining. How anyone can say insecurity is worse under Buhari is a liar. Anyone that says or suggests that things could have been better under Jonathan is a liar. People's frustration with this government is that they feel they could be doing more. I for one thought, the difference between this administration will be like light and dark are disappointed. There's no part of me that misses Jonathan for one second, I just need this government to do better.

You talk insecurity, when last have you heard about a bomb blast in the NE. The militants that misbehaved in the SW were decisively dealt with. We're not out of the woods yet obviously but there's evidence miscreants are being dealt with. Management of funds have been better with stuff like the TSA and curbing of corruption. I just expected a lot more, stuff like CBN restricting money transfers is one of the things that keep me scratching my head, the perceived lax attitude of fixing this economic crisis is what bugs me. Comparing however to Jonathan abeg let that guy enjoy his retirement.
Do me a favour, will you? Search through my posts and see if I complained for Buhari or not. Betterstill, why not create a thread on your findings from my posts to indeed show I'm lying.

If your understanding of the word 'INSECURITY' is Boko Haram alone, then I'm sorry, you just don't really know what it means then. Yes, the President is tackiling Boko Haram and he has been effective at it, but would you say the same for Fulani Herdsmen who rape, kill, maim and destroy properties in every corner of Nigeria?

I'm waiting for revelations from you.

I edited my post, you may wanna review your response.

Now, what has "Fulani" got to do with anything?? If it is about appointments, let me ask, does appointing, instead of a Fulani man, an Efik, Igbo, Idoma, Kanuri, Yoruba, Ijaw, etc automatically translate into turning the tide in our economy?? When you raise issues and you bring in arguments regarding ethnicity, you just mess things up, especially on this forum.

The economy is what it is today not because of the pilots we have but because the fundamentals are in shambles!!

Cast your mind back to what it was just weeks before handover!! There was no fuel anywhere, no electricity, banks were closing by 12noon because there was no electricity. Telecoms companies were unable to sustain their activities due to issues bordering on availability of gasoline/diesel to power their generators, etc!!

All these happening when crude was still being sold @ $70pb
!! Now, it is being sold at just over half that price and people expect to see miracles happen!! Brother, it isn't that simple.

When recession came calling sometime in 2006 (or thereabouts) with a crash in crude prices, Nigeria defended her currency and her economy with over $20billion. Imports was sustained and the value of the naira was hardly affected. We had over $60billion in our reserves then!

Today, we are talking about just over half that amount at the point of handover with a population increase of over 15million!! This implies that if $20billion was being used to keep the economy afloat then, we would require even more today to do same!!

Now, imagine the implication of pulling out over 20billion dollars from our current reserve about a year ago or even now, and being left with about 10-15billion in reserves!! Imagine a country that isn't credit worthy!!

Dude, these are fundamental issues that would take time to correct. People don't see these things because they are too emotional to analyse them dispassionately.

Everybody is feeling the pangs, but I foresaw this coming from day one, so did NOI herself and Sanusi. They warned that we saved for the rainy day but the admin they worked under never heeded that warning. Today, shiit has really hit the fan and everyone is pointing accusing fingers at this government. I'm afraid I won't blame her on the state of the economy- it has been a long time coming.

Ps: you still haven't suggested what you would have done differently though.
Fulanis have everything to do with Nigeria right now because it all boils down to security at the end of the day. They keep ransacking every village and town they go to without being cautioned or called to order. I do not care if the entire cabinet is made up of Igbos, Hausas, or Yorubas, neither would I battle an eyelash if they're all from Efik, Urhobo, Ibibio, Isoko or Ijaw.

My question bothers on security and not on appointments. It's either you understood this or you're deliberately tilting my viewpoint to a perspective I never even thought of.

PS: Life has taught me that spectators think they're good judge of things, just like football spectators think they're better than most players and managers. As a matter of fact, they tend to have suggestions that are more plausible than that of the persons they're watching. I'm not one of them, however. We just have to ask certain questions and highlight the many problems facing Nigeria right now, which are but not limited to;

1. Security
2. Power
3. Employment
4. Food and shelter
5. Mono-economy
6. Corruption
7. Accessibility of Roads and
8. Poor Economic Policies.

There are specialists called ministers that have been put in place to tackle some of these. They should come up with a viable strategy to better Nigeria.

Fulani issues and Boko Haram has highly reduced as well as corruption. What we are experiencing in terms of economy is effects of dependence on oil and sabotage by nda which can only be solved easily through violence. IMO violence should be employed as a last option after the ongoing dialogue is exhausted. Right now if I was Buhari there is nothing extra I could do better than what is being done.
It seems you're not in the Nigeria I'm in. It is no longer a secret that Fulanis own Nigeria at this point, as a result of their unchallenged attack on innocent lives and people's properties. Has corruption really reduced? I guess you might want to explain the recent budget padding saga, right under the nose of the Presidency that took almost a year to come up with one.

Judging a man by his past is unfair, even those lessons have been learnt by two persons; the masses and the politician in question. We know what Buhari is capable of and what Jonathan is capable of, and probably what they have learnt of themselves while in office. He is the President of Nigeria, not President of the Fulanis. We can start from there. Power isn't fairing better. I buy fuel every weekend to keep my sanity intact. Though I have no issues with the subsidy removal and I clearly have no issues with buying fuel, but what is the need in paying for power I don't return home to use after the close of day?

I agree that most of the sweet talks during and prior the elcections cannot be manifested. The truth is, no matter how hard I try, I just don't see it working.

A colleague engaged me at the office two days ago. It was an intelligent engagement, though our discourse was political. He clearly hates Buhari and his policies but he voted for him!

What changed?
Corruption is not the only problem Nigeria is confronted with. We have many issues unattended to and the President is all after corrupt public officials like that's the answer to solving our economic anomaly. Dogara, the number 3 man, and Saraki, the number 2 man, are all roped with corruption charges at the moment. Nothing so far about the girls. Militants grow with each passing day, Fulani herdsmen are kings of the bushes, forests, streets and roads, Buratai, the COAS, has corruption allegations on his neck too. How about the common man?

I might be comfortable and doing well but would most Nigerians say the same? We never bargained for this. This isn't what we asked for. The only reason I'd vote APC in 2019 is IF Fashola is allowed to run. President Buhari is clearly not the answer we seek.

Just last year, I joined the many Nigerians who actually thought a dogged fourth time contestants woild be the best thing to happen should Jonathan be kicked. A year after, I have lost my voice around friends and family each time a political discourse comes up, most especially about the state of the economy.

Problems bothering on insecurity, power, state of the economy and corruption have all grown worse than it was under Goodluck Jonathan. Not like Jonathan would have been able to redeem the nation a second time though, and I would have still clearly voted against him if I had caught a glimpse of the anomalies ongoing before hand, but this time, I would have just given my vote to Kowa or Hope.

Without mincing words, Nigeria is presently on autopilot; President Buhari clearly has no idea on what should be done. The BBOG Buhari used as a tool during his campaign have been forgotten, more than ever Fulani herdsmen have been armed and fortified as they impact roads and streets with cow dung and horrible flies. The budget padding saga is still an issue to watch while daily corruption charges hover around the president and his minions.

Just a handful of the many APC faithfuls who are fast realizing that the Change we have is in reverse, it is worthy of note to clearly state that I have lost faith in the Buhari-led administration.

I sincerely hope Kowa would come out stronger with young, vibrant, intelligent and dynamic candidates in 2019.
Christianity Etc › Re: Should A Christian Restitute? by Sanchez01(m): 7:56am On Aug 07, 2016
Jeel:
Restitution basically is paying for your wrongs.

So as a Christian today should we restitute?

Pls support your stand with cogent reasons and scriptures if possible. Thank you!
First, let me say you're wrong about restitution being 'basically' PRAYING. Restitution goes beyond praying. In simple terms, it means righting the wrong.

It requires acting and going extra miles in correcting something that has been done in the past due to ignorance or lack of understanding.

Luke 19:1-10

“Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but being a short man he could not, because of the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.

When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today." So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.

All the people saw this and began to mutter, "He has gone to be the guest of a `sinner.'"

But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount."

Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."

Why is restitution encouraged? It is a public manifestation that you have given your heart to our Lord and have accepted Him publicly in your heart.

Restitution is a very hard thing to do. Grace, however, is all we can ask for because embarking on restitution on one's accord is a suicide mission.

Romance › Pastor Adeboye’s One Hour Prayer Comment, Marriage And Girls by Sanchez01(op): 2:30pm On Aug 03, 2016
Pastor Adeboye is only a man whom God uses from time to time, but is not to say that there would be times when he would air his opinions on certain issues and matters. There are several instances of a similar scenario in which some of the outspoken disciples, who though, led by the Holy Spirit, gave certain erroneous opinions which contradict God’s Word (this is a Sunday topic which I would one day post on here). Don’t get me wrong, please, I am not saying Pastor Adeboye’s opinion is outwrightly wrong. As a matter of fact, you’ll understand him very well if you see the movie ‘War Room’.

The first day I set my eyes on the movie ‘War Room’, I told myself every lady/woman who desires a successful home must see the movie. As a matter of fact, it is a movie ladies and women must watch time and time again to be able to decipher every scene of the heart wrenching movie, I mean theists and Christian ladies of course.

But why the outrage then? Why call for E.A Adeboye’s head when what he said is actually not directed at a particular person? Why are guys reacting negatively to the comment made by the pastor?

Herein lies the hypocrisy of most Nigerian girls. At 17-26, you have your own spec and criteria suitors must meet before being considered worthy of heart matters, majorly, tall, rich, dark and handsome. Who doesn’t love a complete package? Even the guys do, trust me!

And at 27-upwards, most girls tend to lean towards ‘the will of God’ as ‘God fearing’ seems to be the major criterion they look out for, with the ‘as long as he has something doing, then there is hope’ consolatory sentence. What then happens to you as a girl if all you look for is a God-fearing, well to do man who would love you with the fear of God in his heart and put you first in all things?

Truth is, ‘War Room’ opened my eyes further about the power of a wife and that of a woman. As a Christian man, I cherish the thought of my wife praying for my success and life pursuit and not just to kill enemies in a fall and die manner, because this is what comes to mind mostly when prayer in a family home is concerned.

So, is Pastor Adeboye right then to list prayer as the major criterion in choosing a wife? Perhaps not, spiritual growth is one thing in a relationship, other aspects are just as important as the one aforementioned. For example, a woman who sucks at keeping resources or money is not fit to even think of marriage, just as a woman who believes that she is equal in all ramifications with a man? In summary growth on every side must be duly checked if one is to talk about getting married.

Personally, I wouldn’t choose a spouse based on her culinary skill and prayer life alone. Marriage is way beyond these two things and one must be sure one knows what he wants in order to make the best of life.

Praying for an hour is a bit exaggerated, as a vocalist I could as well look out for a lady who can pitch and sustain and sing beautifully. The place of prayer in a home cannot be over-emphasized, but that does not guarantee a lasting union. As a matter of fact, most issues plaguing homes are so tiny that one would need a microscope to fish them out before knowing the type of prayer to apply to the situation.

Several pastors have divorced their spouse, while some, though separated, often claim their spouse is hindering their spiritual growth. Does it then mean that the woman does not pray enough? Does it mean that they don’t know God enough? Where then is the problem? Who is to blame for the failure of the marriage, the head, also known as the man or the woman who is supposed to pray for at least an hour?

There are several many focal points as far as marriage is concerned. As a lady, if you want a God-fearing man, be sure your life oozes some level of spirituality so as to be on par with the man you probably want to spend the rest of your life with, and if you’re a man, yet to be married and overly zealous with spiritual matters, please do not base your Ultimate Search on a one-hour prayer bout and her culinary skills. Certain areas such as level of intelligence, general compatibility, common interests, differences, orientation, perspective on life issues, temperament, sex life, and so many other things. Those two are just some of the determinants and NOT ALL that is needed in having a successful home.

1. You're an IPOB member whose bias is made obvious via hurtful posts towards a group of people.
2. As an entertainer, you're supposed to be on the fence, irrespective of your inclinations, at least, never make them public.
Bullet: Your target audience should cut across all ethnic groups. As a matter of fact, people who would patronize you the most are the Osinbades of this world and the West Germany folks.
3. The 'Osinbade' and the 'West Germany' people, particularly those on the forum who might need an MC or a comedian for an event or a function have just had reasons not to reach out to a bigot.
4. And even though no one knows you yet, you are a prospect brand and should make yourself sellable. Unfortunately, you have successfully branded yourself as a tribalist.

Good luck as you try.

I hate MTN but I think when they launch their 4G LTE, It will be the best due to their strong network coverage.
Glo Mifi is indeed cheap. MultiLinks of those years was the deal back then, not in a world where you have to do endless things that require large bandwidth.

I wouldn't know of about the unlimited data plan, but I'd recommend the OP to get Glo's MiFi and subscribe to the #2500 data plan for 10GB. It is a cheap monthly plan. That's what I have come to adopt myself.

Madam, truth be told, it's either yours wasn't done properly or that the person who did pitied you during the process. You said 'sometimes', and not always. Regardless, it is not to say that it is a good one. Beyond what the OP highlighted, the whole goal of female circumcision bothers around fidelity. And the question it leaves with those affected is;

1. How often do they crave sex?
2. How often do they derive pleasure/orgasm from it?
3. How long does it take to arrive at a single orgasm?
4. How responsive are they towards sex?
5. On a scale of 1-10, how would they rate their sex lives?

These are some of the very few questions that defines the aftermath of the horror called female circumcision.

Afrokan:
Why is it not okay to mutilate female children but its okay to mutilate male children? Let me guess, our ridiculous religions says its okay to mutilate male children.
Why the double standard?
Calm down, circumcision in males is solely by cutting off the foreskin, which often times tend to make the male Instruments like a horrible worm. If you've have ever seen an uncircumcised male, then you'd understand what I'm talking about. And unlike that of the males, which is often done to rid the foreskin, the sole purpose of circumsion in females is just to cut of the clitoris, which often stimulates women. Traditional belief is that a woman won't be promiscuous once she's circumsed. In reality, such a woman is dead to sex. Even when she gets turned on, sex with her is like mating with a corpse, because she doesn't feel a thing, no matter how hard you try.

Why the clit then?
The clitoris comes alive when a lady is turned on by accumulating blood at its tip. Such that once it is touched, she becomes super sensitive to the present atmosphere.

I'm no doctor, but I grew up in a home where my parents were never ashamed to talk about sex.

Yes I know so many people will quote Malachi where the bible say bring your tithes to the store house of God, does that mean that is the only way to pay our tithe, if you say so, then explain the other places Bible talked about tithe. In Hebrew bible talks about Abraham paying his tithe to Melchizedek and God also ordered other tribes of Israel to pay tithe to the tribe of Levi because they are not meant to work. So my question is where, who, how, what is the correct way to pay our tithe. Plz I need bible scholars to clear me in this, ur answers are highly appreciated
1. Malachi is the only existing Bible passage that aptly talked about paying tithe.
2. Jesus never preached tithe paying.
3. Abraham never paid tithe to Melchizedek. Tithe is said to be the one tenth of what you have. What Abraham gave to Melchizedek was spoils of war and he gave Melchizedek all. Melchizedek was not a man. He was Christ. Read more on this.
4. The reason God charged Israel to pay tithe was because of some of the Levites who served in the temple, both as priests, and workers. The rest of Israel fed them through tithe paying.

Jadonjack:
Well, I once read a book written by one of the christian leaders. He said, in hell, he saw pple being hung by a specific organ of their body, he made some enquiries from the person tormenting them and the man said, they are being hung by those organs cos it was that organ that made them sin when they were on earth

So I guess that passage is telling christians that they can still make heaven, no mata how well they'v sinned on earth. The only thing you need to do is cut off that part of your body that is making you sin before rapture comes
At the bolded, please ignore. There's no such thing as that. REVELATION gave us graphic details of what would happen and how people would be punished.Anything contrary is regarded as lies, because that would mean God lied on His word, and I know God can never tell lies because he is not man. So that brings us to one person - the said Pastor.

This passage is one of the most direct teachings of Christ. While many could readily describe it as a parable, eye in this regard refers to something precious. From an angle, the idea of using parts of the body is indeed a pointer to saying that as humans, we tend to have some things, properties or achievements that are so precious that one would think if they're lost, that would be the end of the world. A typical example of this could one's wealth, position in life/attainment, children, one's spouse, etc... These things and more can be close to one as one's member. This is why Christ said if you have these things around you and they seem to be cutting you off from being focused on heaven, then you should FIND a way of doing away with them, by 'plucking' them out and by 'cutting them off'. A typical example of this is ELI whose children went on rampage and defiled the things of God but due to excessive love, he could not correct them, even after God had sent him a warning through young Samuel.

He is half Urhobo and he grew up in Udu with his mother. He tilts more towards Urhobo than Itsekiri and that's why Urhobos often claim him.

Don't also forget that Urhobos recognise matrilineal relationship as much as patrilineal relationship.
Thank you from clearing the air.
