chigo93:Sorry, I don't do parties. A lot of Nigerians, myself inclusive, are interested in the Harliburton scandal and it would be terrible if the issue is swept under the carpet. And most importantly, peddling false news under the covering of "CNN investigative" is not just it. |
The alleged CNN investigate piece (www.nairaland.com/2519816/cnn-investigates-why-buhari-dumped), though an interesting read should not be regarded as true. Unknown to many, the CNN iReport is a platform where CNN allow its several readers upload stories, pictures or videos as first hand witnesses of events since the news agency can't be in all places at all times. CNN iReport is a little bit different from the rest of CNN.com, because everything here starts with a story from members of our community. We want to invite you to share the stories you care about with CNN, and the rest of the world.ireport.cnn.com/welcome-to-ireport.jspa Since the topic reads "CNN Investigates Why Buhari "Dumped" $182 Halliburton Bribe Scandal", it would be right to say iReport, though CNN owned, is NOT the same as CNN's investigative reportage. Though the piece was written somewhere in July by an anonymous user, the Editor's Note before the article clearly reads; CNN PRODUCER NOTE CNN iReport is the network’s user-generated news community. The stories here come from our audience and are not edited, fact-checked or screened before they post. If you think this iReport violates our community guidelines, please tell us by clicking on the "This is Inappropriate" button below. You can learn moreI've been an ardent reader of the iReport since 2010, largely due to the fact that audience reporters break some stories before being taken up by the news network. Perhaps anyone saw this: "About this iReport: NOT verified by CNN"Question now is: "If it's not verified by CNN, how come it's CNN's investigative?" Cc Lalasticlala Ishilove |
ZeezaRapture:They couldn't have joined at the time because they're "Edge-like"; opportunists. As much as defectors are defectors, those who do so in Bayelsa, the very own state of the immediate past president, are worse and terrible. The APC should kick them out abeg. Let them stay in the PDP to build the dying party. We need a viable opposition to match the APC and keep them on their toes ahead of 2019. Regardless, I'd rather 'waste' my vote on KOWA than on PDP. |
Sweetlemon:I agree ![]() |
ibedun:FFK's hands are obviously not clean. The writer, though bitter, revealed a whole lot. There could be some possibility of exaggeration but I somewhat believe the author. FFK is somewhat terrible. |
atbu1983: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm very much aware that my people worship and adore ogogoro. They wake up to discuss while the women go about their chores. "Sapele water" is a cheap commodity among the Urhobos, fortunately, a light-headed me don't take alcohol. I have an Esan friend, by the way "Omodia".Sweetlemon, please add this, Urhobo men are lazy. They walk aimlessly all day or stay indoor while their women take the role of the man. |
EdCure: ![]() ![]() ![]() God bless the South-South! Sweetlemon, you're a very good observer. Regardless, take out the "ogogoro" part for me and I'm good with the list. My Urhobo folks, the aged as you rightly stated, are chronic womanizers . God bless you.#ProudlyUrhobo! |
I see no reason why the APC should accept these folks. If the APC is interested in the country's democracy, they should start rejecting defectors. Cc Lalasticlala Ishilove |
Kinsmen of former President Goodluck Jonathan, including Senator Clever Ikisikpo have said they left the Peoples Democratic Party because of the party’s method of operation.Source: http://www.punchng.com/news/jonathans-kinsmen-defect-to-apc-in-bayelsa/ |
darkenedrebel:You mean ever since Neymar and Suarez landed? Because last I checked, Pedro became an outcast ever since Barce carved the "MSN" niche for themselves after Real had long carved the "BBC". Pedro never lost stem, he is rarely used and often plays from the bench. I'd look elsewhere for a regular playing time if I were in his shoes. Quite unfortunately, Barcelona stars rarely succeeds outside of Camp Nou, particularly when they moved to other clubs. So should Pedro fail, it's not because he's past his peak. It's because he's used to other members of the Barce team who understand themselves. It's quite hasty to say Pedro is past his peak when I cannot recall his sole moment of glory. |
pharmagba:The sinner here is the three. Regardless of their good motives, their approaches are wrong. It's like robbing Peter to pay Paul and still explain to make heaven. It is not possible. Except they repent. All three are hell-bound. |
darkenedrebel:Give a rebound to Yakubu Aiyegbeni and see if he can score. |
darkenedrebel:Eat ya words! |
darkenedrebel:The chap is under pressure. Manchester United eyes are watching. |
Pique and simulations. I'm not surprised though. |
Dear Real Madrid, Do not tow the path of Arsenal and Barcelona! I repeat, do not tow the path of Arsenal and Barcelona!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
I made up my mind not to comment should Barca trail by a wide margin. I must comment now that it Sevilla seems to be staging a comeback ![]() ![]() ![]() |
INTROVERT:Not true. Anything can bring about distraction, even the typical Bible we carry to church can. Mabeni, it's no crime as long as it serves its purpose while in church. Not necessarily smartphones alone. I remember I used to have a Franklin electronic Bible (more like an e-organizer) several years back. It served its purpose perfectly well and never hindered my study sessions. The essence of the Bible/Scripture is not in holding or carrying to church every Sunday. It's being in the heart. This is why the Bible instructs that "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth..." (Josh 1: , "Study to show yourselves approved unto God...", and "Let the word of God dwell richly in you" among many other verses are provided. |
There's nothing disgraceful about the PR. It's just for laughs. By the way, does Arsenal still have fans I don't get how their fans stay happy year in, year out.![]() ![]() ![]() |
HzRF:Please mention one godfather in Nigerian politics who stands alone. Thanks. |
HzRF:You're wrong. I'm not in any way pained. I think those who are pained are those that are paid to justify why they're encouraged to do so. Sometimes I look at you guys and I just get to shake my head. Prior the elections, the song you guys sang was "Buhari would cry again", "PDP till 2019", so forth, so on. Today, reverse is the case. I'm not in any way a fan of Tinubu or the APC, Buhari's personality is it for me. I believe you people should worry about staging a comeback rather than putting Tinubu's issue on your heads like a headgear. ![]() |
nationwide1:I knew what he was driving at, really. I was only being sarcastic . |
wapSmart:Corruption is not even the issue. Imagine an immediate past President who cries at the door of Abdusalam Abubakar just because he wants to see PMB. What influence does such a man command, biko? |
chukwudi44:I added two words to your quote; "NOT" and "YET". It's only a matter of time. When he started out, he did so with Lagos and Lagos alone before moving out to Ogun, Oyo, Osun etc... It's only a matter of time. The man is a communication network on his own. He's fast covering grounds. |
chukwudi44:True, but he is a former President of Nigeria, and last I checked, past Presidents of Nigeria influence present governments to lobby on behalf of others who run to them to secure appointments. Like our Yoruba brothers would say in one of their proverbs, "ko le tan lara omo oba ko ma ku dansaki". Transliteration: A prince can never lose all, he'd still command respect and acknowledgement. |
Obijulius:Wrong. I'm not a fan of Tinubu but I've observed overtime that the man is a regional warlord. As hard as it is to say, Tinubu has covered the South-West like a telecommunication network. His wings have been clipped at the centre he craves the most, following the emergence of Yakubu Dogara and Bukola Saraki's emergence as the Speaker, House of Representative and Senate President respectively. Call it Atiku and co's handwriting. |
That EFCC is alive is one of the greatest achievement of PMB's government. They agency's hand is presently full as a result of corrupt public officials from Mr. Jonathan's 6-year reign. Nigeria will be great again. Just a matter of time. |
