Corruption isn't the problem of this country.... Because to tackle corruption.... We must first of all... Tackle the ones around us in our respective localities....
.
How many times have u seen a police officer collect money from drivers and you stand up to fight against it...perhaps take it personal to sue the policeman to court?
.
A lot of our parents are police officers....yet we enjoy to see them steal from the public just to provide for the family and nobody is willing to take actions as to stop such act...
.
Corruption can cease to exist in this country if EVERY body including Buhari is willing to institute legal proceedings and or resort to legal action to settle a matter and or be involved in a lawsuit when WE come in counter with things that are illegal/against the constitution of this country.
.
.
We shouldn't watch bad things happening around us and then expect GEJ to run from Aso rock to ur l.g.a to handle criminal cases...
.
.
Corruption isn't the problem of this country.... We're the problem of this country..... Tribalism and hatred for one another...is the major problem of this country.... Power moving from one tribe to another...how are we gonna progress when an hausa man rules and an igbo man hates everythng abt it and when election comes again...we'll den fight to move power to a different tribe just to avoid civil war....
.
.
Corruption isn't a problem.... People hating people is the problem! People not minding their business is the problem.... People using religion to compel others to join them is the problem....
.
The country isn't united.... Tribalism has eating deep into us.... That an hausa man can't help southerners to get a job.... And a southerner can not help it's fellow southerner to get a job....
.
.
Tribalism is the problem!
WRONG! CORRUPTION IS THE MAIN PROBLEM OF NIGERIA. Tribalism and ethinic chauvinism is just a fraction borne by corruption.

Eluwilussit:
The same reason the others have not been tried. Goodluck is not about trying people and jailing people. It is only in Nigeria that everyone accuses the executives of not fighting corruption. It is not the job of the executives. Efcc, NPF and all the other anti-graft agencies, working in tandem with the courts, have all they need to fight corruption.

They will not do it. They are corrupt as well. It is either they are working for the executives or they are taking bribe from the offenders. Even Buhari will end up fighting his enemies and opponents, just like Obasanjo did with Ribadu.

GEJ claims to be blocking all the loopholes by which our treasury is siphoned. If it is true, then that's a better way to handle it. We are still in nigeria and there's no way the executives will ever prosecute their own. Even Buhari will not do it. He showed his true colour by jailing Ekwueme, the VP, while he placed president Shagari under house arrest in his mansion. Think about that. He isn't a saint or an agent of change. History doesn't lie.

His activities as PTF chairman are well recorded. He said that Abacha didn't loot our treasury and that abacha was a great leader. Think about that as well.

Nigerians are being deceived badly by this impostor and his greedy sponsor, Tinubu. The only thing I see with a Buhari presidency, is simply a rebranding of almost the same set of thieves. Maybe, a creation of new thieves and taking food off the table of a few people from the South South.

As per real change, forget it. You can't give what you don't have. Buhari is an empty head. He has not achieved anything in life without quota system. He couldn't even improve himself in any way in the last 29 years. Even with the advantage of being an ex head of state. He can't understand, nor appreciate the complexities of Nigeria as it is today. Economically and sociologically, Buhari is outdated. We need change. I support change. I will vote for change. But that change, in my views, is not represented by Buhari. Not at all.
[b]Sorry bro, they got nothing on Tinubu, else, he would have been tried. Jonathan simply lacks discipline and can barely stand in the face of justice. We're talking about a man that romanticizes corruption like Sir Williams Shakespeare romanticized the Sonnet here. I'm not saying Tinubu is a saint, no. When he was tried back then, it was revealed that he already had a foreign bank account before becoming the Governor of Lagos State. Tinubu is a business oriented fellow and has managed his resources well. Give what Tinubu has today to James Ibori, my former state Governor and see what will happen. That others have not been tried is not the same as Tinubu's, rather, they're still relevant under the president, hence, whatever they do is overlooked. Have you ever bothered to ask why FFK easily switched allegiance to the PDP after the EFCC opened up his can of wormshuh Have you ever bother to ask why the Petroleum Minister's Oil scam and even the recent auditing case was buried under the carpethuh Have you ever bothered how PEJ got the sums she got in building an estate in Okrika, her hometown, when the constitution does not recognize and pay the First Ladyhuh How about the job scam that claimed lives in Ibadan, how badly was the minister in charge affectedhuh

The questions are obviously many and it's only a right-thinking leader that understands that we need to set right the wrongs.

God please save us from this man. Someone once told me that the death tolls under this administration is occultic. I didn't believe it because I just hate taking things very far. But this has confirmed it. The several deaths under this man is occultic and disappointing that a man called to lead his own is putting his hands in filth. Yet he'll run from the pillar to post of every church for 'blessings'. This is really bad.

Unfortunately the General is right. The only people nabbed by the EFFC are those that have personal vendettas with the President. the EFFC have been reduced to nothing. We honestly need a man who has zero tolerance for corruption. Fayose, Obanikoro and a whole lot of others would have been sweating under a no-nonsense leader.

@diamondcrownltd, please get hard facts and hold on to that which is true. I have never really liked CAN because the association is self-gratifying, self-seeking and inconsiderate. These terrible disadvantages have pushed them into politics. An average pastor in Nigeria is only concerned about the number of congregation he has. He does not matter if they are saved or not. Even the almighty CAN does not bother about the work of the mission, and that is why Nigerian missionaries are like beggars on the mission field. Go to African Countries or ask any missionary around, they're are not well taken care of. I have a lot of them around me and they have practically spent all their life savings on the work of the mission.

Ironically, Christian missionaries do the most work in a Church setting but they're not known and most are never recognized till they die, whereas altar pastors of these churches revel in wealth and amass resources for their resources. This is the way Pastor Ayo Ortisejafor functions, he decorates his necks with chains, send his 'boys' to poison the heart of gullible Christians into voting 'a man God has destined' for Nigeria while they share the loots of the country and glorify themselves in their private jets. Pastors today have sought after material things and have forsaken whey they are called. God knows better and like I usually say, "there shall be surprises in heaven".

Christianity Etc › Re: Is Nigeria Going The Way Of Turkey??? by Sanchez01(m): 9:19pm On Mar 12, 2015
NO Dearie! Nigeria is no going the way of Turkey. Pastor Bosun Emmanuel of CAN who gave the insightful exposition whipped up pity and sentiments, coupled with politics. CAN as of today is an arm of the FG and it best explains why the expository on Turkey and Nigeria came up, just a year before the elections. The OIC was formed with the intent of Islamizing Africa but none of our past Muslim leaders have ever attended. Our president is the ONLY leader in Nigeria to have attended the meeting. Please DO NOT be deceived, Nigeria cannot be Islamized.

Politics › Jonathan Goodluck Aka 'MR BADLUCK’ You Are A Failure By Iyiola Abolarin by Sanchez01(op):
Jonathan Badluck you are a failure considering the fact that under your government Nigerians are dying at an alarming rate because you and your security thieves have decided to be playing casino with Nigerian government. Jonathan Badluck, you are not a leader and can never be a leader according to the rate of poverty in Nigeria under your government. At the moment you are occupying a seat that you snatched by force from a peaceful and true leader, may be that is why Nigerian has been in total chaos under your administration. Jonathan Badluck you are a disgrace to leadership, you are a disgrace to academics, and you are a disgrace to Nigerian citizenship with all your depiction of not having any shoe to wear. What is the point now that you have shoes to wear?

Jonathan Badluck, with your PHD certificate as you claim, why is it that you and Poverty Development People are running Nigeria our father land of over 170 million population the way no one in their right senses will run any organisation on this planet ?

Democracy is all about the people majority and political equality. Democracy is not about Jonathan and PDP and you don’t need a PHD to understand that Nigeria is blinking RED at all sectors under your government okay? Jonathan Badluck you/PDP claim to be democratic and people are dying on a daily basis. You claim to be democratic and Nigerian universities are in shambles. You claim to be democratic and electricity sector is nothing to talk about. You claim to be democratic and major federal roads are nothing to talk about with all the foreign loans. You claim to be democratic and Nigeria is losing an estimated $8 Billion Dollars annually to oil theft and still don’t care about a Nigerian families out there inside the country you reside without food to eat. You claim to be democratic and all we see is violations of human rights all over the country not to talk of the opposition party harassment. You claim to be democratic and you failed to protect lives and properties. Who will be left to utilise any infrastructure if any at all when all the citizens are dying? How come we still do not have record of any outcome for all the committees you have ever created including the oil subsidy scandal?

If leaders before you are so bad as you claim must you replicate a bad ideology? Nigeria is 100 years old today and still not close to becoming Dubai were you and your allies transfer all your money into without any shame. There is no time to waste for people like you and Property Development People that has no strategic and ethical plan for Nigeria progress today not to even talk of generation to come because you and your partners in “project sock Nigeria Dry” has turned federation account and Nigeria reserves upside down and into your individual local and foreign bank accounts. You and your allies have failed. However, you will be a total failure and failure forever if you shuttle 2015 election which is your only chance to do one good thing for Nigeria.

As a PHD older which that you claim, you should know that in a democratic system of government citizens have rights to choose their leaders only under a free and fair election (In this case using card readers and PVCs). As such, we must vote, our vote must count on March 28 and you must hand over government to the winner without any drama like the ones you and Poverty Development People has been acting over the last 10 to 15 years. There is more to life after being a president and whatever happens to Nigeria now is on your head and on the head of all your security thieves. A word is enough for the wise.
