nijabazaar:This is bitterness personified. And it is obvious in the way you quickly compared Lagos to some African cities, particularly Kaduna and Ouagadou when you haven't crossed any of Nigeria's border. For the record, the serpentine bridge is the Third Mainland Bridge and it is strange that you noticed the slum the most. |
You prolly wonder why some people are so mad, hateful, denigrate and claim Lagos is no man's land, it is because its beauty is unrivalled and the answers to their pain are summed up in the pictures. Lagos is everything they want their region to be but cannot. As a Deltan, all I am left with is my proud heritage and not the geographical location that is serially violated by selfish beasts who stack up the agony of people in luxury material possessions for their family and girlfriends. To those warming up to cry Lagos was built with oil money, the glorious state has been standing long before independence and long before oil was discovered. Èkó o ni bàjé |
aminulive:The piece is disappointing. If you on a 'fact checking' mission, don't just say 'this is what WHO or the NCDC said'. We all know for a fact that: 1. Chloroquine is being used to treat COVID-19. This is obvious in the way Nigeria continually discharge patients. It is not like we are inventive, just skilled in using other people's ideas more than them. The US mandated India to export some of its manufactured hydroxychloroquine to help fight the virus in the United States. 2. It is not just enough to say herbs or our local spices work or don't until you've tested them on a COVID-19 patient. 3. There have been wide spread claims from people who once tested positive to COVID-19 that they boiled certain spices and bent their head over the pot to forcelly clear their lungs and ease the respiratory attack COVID-19 brought them. Until you use them on COVID-19 patients, don't brand anything as a fact check. It is misleading. A fact check is that the FG is sharing N20k to those that are vulnerable (since it popped in the media). Another fact check is that a lawmaker said the money was shared to his constituency but none received a thing. AND PLEASE, ALWAYS ADD A DISCLAIMER TO YOUR FACT CHECK ARTICLES! |
Activist001:Not sure Nairaland anti-spambots catch phone numbers though. Seen... You might want to take down your phone number though. |
Good AdSense didn't contact you but Google Ad Manager, which comprises of AdSense and Google AdX. |
Alex is now a hypeman for pastors as well? Is there no end to the depth this guy can go to cater for his home? I don't know what I find irksome; the fact that Fufeyin engaged a social media hypeman to remind the world that he prophesied whatever in 2014 when he couldn't remind the world at the start of the year that the virus will spread across the world even though it had been plaguing China since December 2019 or that Alex has started holding brief for supposed pastors. I am a God-lover but the fact that Nigerian pastors are still justifying whether or not they foretold the coming of the plague at this point means they are only interested in being correct, for followership sake. This is embarrassing to Christianity. |
LifeCoachAndre:Truer words have never been said. However, I'd like to add that it is almost pointless for anyone under 30 to hang to any meaningful relationship. They all end in tears, after sweet nonsenses and memories and mostly degenerate to resentments after the whole thing is off. This is not to say under 30s shouldn't have serious relationships. Most don't jusy work no matter how dreamy and promising they look. |
Ishilove:The first question that came to my head before opening the thread. Why people will find it convenient to spill precious information to strangers they have never met and never tell the person they're with seems like a wonder to me. Sincerely, I still don't see why people should keep secrets and still say they are in a relationship. Nothing beats walking around with a mind free as the wind. |
The schooling and redirection on this very thread is craaaaazy! ![]() Wickedfacts just buried people on here with truths. I laughed my head off reading through. Mehn! ![]() |
Obiano and Wike can now get the 1 billion they've been dreaming of. |
mexican:The link in my post is considered a spam by the Anti-spam bot. |

CallMeDrino:Most likely a bug or an attempt at denying the user rather than the 'nonsensical content' AdSense puts up as reasons to some publishers. If a site applies for ads, then there must be little information about why the publisher's request was rejected. Reasons fall under two major categories: 1. Valuable Inventory: Content Related (and is also accompanied by an extra reason). Example: Valuable inventory: No content, Valuable Inventory: Templated Pages, etc. 2. Policy Violation: Which is often obvious. Should AdSense fail to give reasons, they have found multiple violations on such and have no interest, leaving the publisher to guess what the problems might be. Going the link of the screenshot you shared, I'll say: 1. No content (most likely picture message/cards site type) - Valuable Inventory 2. Nonsensical content (not profitable or fit for AdSense) - Valuable Inventory 3. Scraped contents/Templated Pages - Valuable Inventory. If it was just one violation, there would tips (such as creating high-value contents, etc) but in this sense, the bots won't even stress to pile multiple recommendations and throw at such publisher because there are millions of publishers waiting in line for their sites to be reviewed. I run an AdSense for Business account and recently applied for another but the bots claimed 'Valuable inventory: No Content'. The bots only view the cache of any website and I applied same day I created the site. What I did was to force crawl the website and get 39 unique contents of Google immediately and I have no doubt that the site would be approved the next time it is reviewed. PS: This is coming from a product expert, from the AdSense Community. |
CallMeDrino:Wrong. AdSense hasn't stopped. Why? Because I opened a business AdSense to move all of my AdSense and guess what? I got a vague response via mail while I got a 'valuable inventory: no content' as the reason my request was requested and I knew why that was so immediately. AdSense might have changed from what it was five years ago but the reason for rejection always sits in one's AdSense dashboard, WITH CLUES and tips on how to correct, prevent the problem. |
Ababbio:The answer to the so called violation won't be revealed in a mail. To be sure, check or login to your AdSense dashboard and share the specific violation type mentioned there. |
PS: Don't quote my post. You'll be banned by the Anti-spam bot. |
IamgratefulLord:Lol! Thanks. I write and allow people find my contents via Google. It is called organic traffic and I get over 7k+ visitors daily. Interestingly, the website is fairly new. Yes, I did. I wrote them all myself. Studied Language Arts, print media experience and stuff. Nah, it's fine. ![]() |
mexican:Books Reviews WordPress theme is your best bet here. https://www.templatemonster.com/wordpress-themes/53486.html The theme has the option to list book categories and even allow good reads reviews. The ratings systems are done by the writer while users can also review the same with an aggregate score. |
IamgratefulLord:No, I don't write for people, not anymore. I actually own mine. Erhmmmm... I guess I'll drop it privately. It is somewhat unsafe to put it out. I have been thwarting the efforts of so called theme sellers who scam people here and have come to consider me an enemy. Lol! Head swollen! ![]() Of course, I'll gladly take the project. ![]() |
The Lagos State Government and the NCDC should share its COVID-19 formula with the UK and the United States. The way patients recover pretty quickly makes it look like the pandemic is a child's play in Nigeria. |
IamgratefulLord:Yeah, I own several blogs. Web DESIGNER, and also as an SEO consultant. Primarily, I am a Blogger though. ![]() |
You weren't wrong. What took place was keyword cannibalization. You missed it the moment you created a blog post on the keyword as your homepage. If you've been into SEO but had issues with keyword cannibalization, then it goes on to show that you haven't been deep in it. That said, as much as possible, you could do keyword synonyms rather than direct keywords against your homepage. Google bots still put keyword synonyms on the same level as the main but always leave it secondary. |
mrvitalis:Why not pray for your state to record the number of COVID-19 cases as Lagos and get N10B instead while Lagos gets nothing? Most of you are blinded by hate and envy that relief funds mean everything to you. |
Roon9:It is not because our soldiers are lazy but BH seems to be getting support from some people within the army, thereby thwarting the little effort of the boys. And there is the talk of underequipment of our soldiers. And another, wrong intels on BH. Some high ranking soldiers, politicians that are close to the presidency seem to be doing wonders in the dark and sabotaging the peace of the North East for their own gain. |
freeman500:We expected too much from an old vegetable. The man is probably suffering from amnesia right now. Modified @Activist001, I could get you a do-follow backlink on two major newspapers. However, it doesn't come cheap. Perhaps you drop your WhatsApp number on a dead thread or edit an earlier post, include it and quote me. I'll message. |
DominusPrime:This is a case of 'I apologise, STILL...'. Please read his comments again. |
AgentNairaland:One. A man, actually. He returned from the Netherlands, breezed past the thermal scanner at the airport, knowing he had tested positive before leaving the Netherlands for Nigeria. His family knew and even knew his travel history but lied at LUTH, possibly to get treated on time. Unfortunately for him, he had a renal transplant not too long and I guess that aggravated his condition. There have been people calling for the prosecution of his family for not only lying but endangering the lives of innocent people, mostly medical professionals. “Should we not do this study in Africa, where there are no masks, treatment or ICU, a little bit like it’s done, by the way, for certain AIDS studies or with prostitutes?,” Mira had asked teasingly. “We try things because we know that they are highly exposed and they don’t protect themselves.”Going by this, he didn't apologise. |
Kylekent59:This is difficult and not advisable as a way of telling snakes apart. Rather, recognise them by their heads. Venomous snakes have triangular heads while non venomous snakes have, oval, round heads.

Richbest18:I'll contact you in the coming week to get one. Thanks. |
Richbest18:Hello, I think I'll be buying a super slim next week. However, I have a couple of questions: 1. What's the size of the hard drive in the super slim console? 2. Are the pads brand new of tokunbo pads? 3. Do you have a restricted number of games that are loaded on the consoles or you allow your customers request for as many as possible? I'll ask other questions when I have. Meanwhile, I'm hoping you can assist clarify my questions. |
