Quoting Romans 7:1-3 to defend d release or divorce of 2nd and 3rd wife in a polygamy is trying to use the bible to suit your argument. That was not what Paul meant in that passage of the bible either in syntax or context !!! leoebhos: |
We must be careful to make assertions for God. The woman should go but the children should be catered for?? Lol. The tree should be cut but the fruits should be collected in a barn and kept for next year planting isnt it ![]() See, God does not subscribe to polygamy. Nevertheless, he also hates putting away. Whosoever marries a woman divorced comitts adultery. So those women should remain unmarried?? You think that's God's plan ?I doubt it. On the side of caution, keep your wives and stay in the path of Jesus. You wont loose heaven because you were a polygamist before you met Jesus Scholar8200: |
The bible does not in any place state that a polygamist should or must divorce his extra wives once he becomes a christian. Every acation He does before he becomes a christian is as good as error..Marrying the first, 2nd or 3rd wife. All was done outside of God's perfect will. He that marries somebody that has been divorced is also guilty according to the bible. So those divorced women should re-main unmarried for life ![]() God's package of reconcilliation is not to burden us to to make us strong. If you marry a witch, God does not love divorce. Stay with her. How much more a second, 3rd of 4th wife. Keep them all in your home and enjoy the Love of the father !!!! |
staggerlee:Lie fromt he pit of hell. UCT WITts, Stellenbosh, UP, UKZN are all ranked together after UCT in terms of reputation UKZN is more reputable at home and aborad than UJ or any other SA school |

Ogbono or Okra should have been better options. Your grandmother must hear this!! ![]() |
The intellectual class in Nigeria isa more worrisome sector compared to the political class. How can the management or senate of a university subject its students to impunity at will? Re-absorption form, school closure at will, victimisation of student leaders, banning and un-banning of student unions etc... I have witnessed violent student protests in schools outside nigeria (i do not condone lawlessness) and appreciate how the authorities resolved issues with dignity. 2. The same university senate who decides the fate of a student caught cheating in an exam will also allocate admission quotas to themselves. Shame !!! I see no diiference. Unilag students should insist on dignified treatment from their village University VC |

Bros, pack well !!!. Nigeria still import most of its poultry and fish consumption. Tell me why cattle farmers should get prefrential treatment as against other livestock and other farmer groups. Every cattle farmer should device a means of getting feed for its animals. Shikena. If theres no feed, sell off the animals. Close the bussiness and start trading intextile. PassingShot: |
This OP missed a lots of point in his advocacy for Grazzing fields for cattle herders. 1. tell me a single country where their livestock production depends on peasant and pastoral normads and acheive self sufficiency in mmeat production? Botswana is the only major exporter of meat to EU in Africa and yet all their cattle production is based on sendentary systems (not roaing of cattle across miles of distance) 2. If the Fulani man has every right to graze in every part of Nigeria, i want to start pork production and i want my pigs to graze the fields in Kano, Sokoto and Katsina.. I will develop a system where my pigs will feed on fresh grass of the Kano emirate and produce good quality meat. 3. Cattle production is just a bussiness venture like Poultry, pig, Fish farming etc. Every prospective farmer must acquire land from existing land systems in the respective locations and abide by every existing local laws. 4. How much tax do the CAttle rearers pay to the natonal purse from their sales of cattle Government should ban in totalty the roaming of cattle in Nigeria. In South Africa, every farmer acquires large expanse of land and graze their animals within that territory. Why is it different in Nigeria ![]() I am an animal scientist and i know the dynamics of the present system. We cant not continue this way for long. Government must forget about the ethnic and religious sentiments to move this country forward |
Somebody has created a thread to reveal the stereotypes that might keep you away from your God ordanied husband or wife. MAny will fall for it. Are Catholics, White Garment church members, Deeper life or any name among the Bible believing denominations not Christians?? You better let God choose for you and settle for HIS choice regardless of his or her Denomination. I have seen countless of Pentecostal brethren marry from CCC and their homes are a testimony whereas 2 pentecostals have turned the home to War colllege |
Let Jonathan and his co-travellers go and sit down. They brought our nation to its knees by what they did and what they failed to do. If we had built our reserves during rainy days, we would be able to insulate against the dwindling prices of crude in the world market. THose who claim Buhari and the CBN are wrong, i dare ask...What alternative policies do they suggest ![]() As a lay man, i have considered this: Devaluation of naira: Genuine importers of raw materials will buy dollar at 350-400 naira, price of their finished good will increase. Purchasing power of everyone will drop. including the masses who dont deal with forex, BDC etc. What is the proportion of Nigerians that is affected by 1 dollar = 350 naira today compared to when naira is devaluated?? With the current regime, Every demand for forex outside genuine importers of raw matertials buy at black market (including those of us who buy cloths from Aliexpress, ebay etc..), including those who enjoy luxurious Dubai travels. Does the current regime affect Mr Salako who eats Garri (ijebu), Tomatoe (Kano), Onion (Sokoto), and Beans (Adamawa) and palm oil (Ondo) Does it affect the cost of taking the average civil servant from his house to work Does it affect the cost of buying 1 bag of Dangote cement to continue his 2 bedroom bungallow Am sure tie and dye from Abeokuta or Aba made Jeans shoudnt be affected. So who are the real victims of this current regime of FX over-demand in the market?? My lay man perspective you may say......... |
[1]The Federal Mortgage bank was established to manage fnds accruable from the National Housing Fund (NHF) and backed by law. [2]All workers in Public and private sector contribute 2.5% of their salaries to this fund. [3] The fund is supposed to provide laons up to 15 Million naira to citizens to build houses. [4] If well managed, the size of FMB asset should be close to that of Pension commission which was established just recently. Read more here: http://www.fmbn.gov.ng . . How many employed people in Nigeria have benefited from this fund since 24 years of its existence ?Isnt it right for the laws establishing the NHF and FMB be amended to meet the housing deficits in the country particularly those employed in the formal sectors of the economy ![]() Shouldn't government make arrangement to channel these funds to infrastructural development projects just as Fashola have nursed the idea that Pension funds be invested in infrastructural developments projects with low risk and guaranteed returns ![]() What is the fate of Employed people who contribute 2.5% of their salaries to this fund and retire without benefiting at all from the NHF ?Will our 109 senators be able to make appropriate legislation to address these concerns?? NAiralanders, over to you ! |
R1,000 is not equal to N22, 000. One Thousand rand is about 14-16K naira depending on where you do your exchange. If we must inform the punblic, we must be factual. Thanks |
Those who asked which party i voted for may have this to toy with.... I voted Change..PMB/PYO. Have we quickly forgotten that this is a CBN policy and not a PMB directive? Who appointed the CBN boss? Is this not a remnant of cluelessness?? |
How can NASS peform oversight functions on Security expenditures easily especially ina country where memebrs of NASS also collect bounty for electuion mobilisation from Mr President ![]() |
The new CBN policy is no more news. Read details here: https://www.nairaland.com/2434811/cbn-restricts-use-naira-denominated#35603203. However, as a Nigerian in diaspora, i want guys to advise what avenues can i explore to access my funds. I am currently schooling in South Africa and my monthly salary is my major means of survival. My naira Master card has been my regular shopping partner. Smart guys in the house, what options do i have?? |
Bros, so what brand and model would you recommend for me. Reliability and durability are my key features then money. By budget is from 40K to 100K Max. Thanks quote author=Fulaman198 post=40363746]The guy who told you that has absolutely no idea of what he is talking about. Fanless designs on 14 - 22 nm processes as starting to be the norm. Look at the Core-M powered machines and core atom newer processors like that in the recent Surface 3. Chips are far more efficient now, and most laptop chips are soldered onto the motherboard unless the chip is a Core i7 MQ/MX chip. In any case, the guy doesn't know his stuff.[/quote] |
Dear House, I bought a laptop early this year ASUS and it stopped working, while trying to fix it, my technician told me such laptops whoose processors are assembled on motherboard do not last unlike those whoose processors are detachable. He also said some newer laptops do not come with fans and i should avoid buying such types. The laptop has refused to come up and it appears the motherboard may have developed EBOLA. I have ended up selling it as a scrap. Are these information true?? Which models are brands are easy to manage and service in the market today? I want to shop for a RELIABLE and DURABLE replacement. Please advise me on brands and specific models to buy for a low to middle budget class. I use my laptop mainly for Academic research, web browsing but enjoy music and videos. I hardly play games. Pls give me specific brands and models that are very DURABLE for research student like me. Thanks |

Round pegs in square holes Fayemi in Solid Minerals A single person to man Power, works and housing ? |
This is a brilliant expose. This project will become yet another black Elephant project like the Poultry project of yesteryears. I think our leaders only embark on bogus projects to siphon money and not based on developmental visions. Where are the next generation of Ekiti indigenes to comment on thus thread They are busy on romanceland section or Attacking Ameachi's ministerial nomination. Time will tell what part you played. @Op, you have spoken, posterity will judge you right!!! |
kennydee05:If you ask me, na who I go ask?? Let me call Arch-Bishop Rev Dr Apostle.... |
Somebody sent this to me today, I didn't believe it a bit. Was it not on this thread we read How Buhari called Ogbonaya Onu over SFG?? They only wanna link Dangote's riches to a man of God. Am a Christian, I believe in God and the efficacy of divine blessings but non of the principal actors have come to tell this story in public domain. Shame on those spreading false gospels around !!! |
