Ah, hah, i just thought of something here. what do u all have to say about men that marry for physical beauty? Aren't they the same as women that marry for money?

Please, note that i ain't in support of neither.

@chaircover, those are words of wisdom really. Thanx for sharing such personal details, i know it's not easy. I personally have been encouraged by your posts from the beginning of this thread.
@post, maybe the girl wants to marry the man but not just right away.

Are you the girl in question or how do you know she is hardworking. grin grin grin grin

Look their are millions of Nigerian University graduates looking for jobs 5-6 years after NYSC. Yet some still get married.

Some of those graduates got job in banks, then Sanusi Tsunami swept them to the job market tongue tongue tongue tongue. Yet some still get married.

Life has its ups and down . All we need is endurance.
if u had followed the thread, u would have read where the poster stated that she works and earns a lil' income too!!!

dayokanu:
What is the part in bold about? Is spending money on a girl a requirement? Did the girl say she is a Pros-sti-tute?

Are you saying Giving money is in exchange for Love? Why should the guy be the one spending money on her? Is she crippled, braindead or paralysed that she cant make money she needs for herself?

How about the girl spending money on the guy?
misundestanding much? I'm just trying to point out the fact that the girl in question doesn't seem materialistic. Rather she has her (future) families interests at heart.
And to answer your question, NO, i am not saying that at all!
RomanceRe: Would You Marry Him - Even Without A Good Job by sashaa(f): 5:00pm On Feb 16, 2011
So many hypocrites, gosh!!
Please, quit blaming the poor girl, she is a hardworking salary earner herself. The fact that she HAS BEEN with this guy shows she really does love him and believes in him. She just wants financial stability before she can take that bold step of marrital commitment. With a salary of 17k, do u think d guy can afford to buy her things or spend money on her since they'v been dating? Yet she remained with him out of LOVE. So please, she ain't materialistic, she is simply a REALIST. Who knows that their salaries put together cannot provide for even the basic needs of a nigerian family.
RomanceRe: Would You Marry Him - Even Without A Good Job by sashaa(f): 3:24pm On Feb 15, 2011
Well, well, well! its easier said than done, u know.
A relationship without money is frustrating enough not to talk of MARRIAGE WITH NO FINANCIAL STABILITY!
Someone said his brother married while earning 15k. May i ask what year that was?
I personally will not marry a guy earning 17k monthly! I would rather wait patiently and keep encouraging him. Nigeria is a tough place to live in if u don't have money. I do not want to bring children into this world only to watch them suffer. I have seen babies die just because of poverty. Or is it unhealthy looking babies whose bodies have no resistance to ailments due to poor feeding? I'm sure thats not the kind of life i want.
Please poster, your friends priority should be on improving his financial status and not marriage.

Keffi's story sounds true-'er' really. Seems Alec married her for what he wanted to achieve through her.

Yipee! The magic number finally worked!!!
And i think when it expires after a month, then you can choose another magic number if you wish to.
This is great, u guys. Everyone should tap into this.

Oiza:
Please has anyone tried the magic number? Does it work? It sounds good but MTN has kinda shown me in the past so one has to be careful,
mehhn, i don't blame you for wanting to be careful oh. My friend added my number as a magic number and i recieved this sms from 123:
y'ello, 080*** has invited you as a magic number. Dial *563*1*my friends number# to accept or *563*2*my friends number# to reject.

Problem now is when i dial the said code,(after several trials cos it keeps saying service busy) it tells me that i have no invitation from the said number! Like wtf!
PhonesRe: Why Are Many People Selling Or Dumping Their Blackberry? by sashaa(f): 4:15pm On Jan 14, 2011
Ahem! just to add my two cents here, i use a 20k nokia and i'm looking to upgrade to a 30k-something model. Reasons being that i need:
1)more storage space
2)multitasking capabilities
3)symbian os
4)3g
5)wi fi
6)qwerty keypad
7)better cam
cooland a document editor.
So i don't know how anyone can say dat a 15k and a 100k nokia are same as per capabilities. Hmmm,
And as for pinging, shebi na that thing wey u go do to alert another bbm user?
Me sef with my nokia java, i dey recieve alert through my nimbuzz or even 2go chat!

Just to point something out, d packagings aren't all about enticing d men. I'm small chested myself, and when i do my own packaging, all i have in mind is getting my clothes to fit properly and looking like a woman.
I don't wanna go about looking like a 13year old now would i? );

It really warms my heart when my boyfriend of four years tells me i look so beautiful waking up in the mornings. And sometimes he'll insist i look in the mirror(which i never do ofcourse) just to prove his point. It just warms my heart how he really does see that.
The way he always grabs me from behind when am in d kitchen and then asks what he can help with. He also cooks for me when i'm tired.
When he strokes my back when we are just laying in bed talking.
When he strokes my belly and then goes 'i can't wait to have my baby growing in there'
awwwww, i love u plenty, babe!
