Good evening nairalanders please I have known this girl for more than 5 years now and 2 years ago I opened up to her about my intention to marry her at first we didn't really took things serious but later that year we got serious with each other and started planning ohhh, but few months ago she told me both of us can no longer work out due to somethings beyond her control, I beg her to stay but she just couldn't heed to my plea, it wasn't easy at first but with the help of God and close friends I was able to move on, though she still check on me sometimes but I noticed that anytime I see her with the guy she is Currently dating I feel bad and pained and sometimes I just feel downcast and may not be able to work that day.

A brother needs help now. I need help with a job. This year, I've visited the American embassy twice - one in Lagos, and one in Abuja- but I was denied the visa these 2 times. I got admitted into the master's program for Industrial Engineering at South Dakota school of Mines and Technology, in the U.S. but I couldn't get the visa to go study. I have a mechanical engineering degree, but I can do any decent job, at least to raise money to apply to other promising schools. I really need someone to assist me NOT with money, but with an opportunity to find something to do. Attached is a copy of the denial letter I was given at the American embassy in lagos.

Yesterday evening (6:10pm) when I came back from work, a friend of mine who live down the street invited me over to his birthday party. So I quickly freshened up and I went for the party.

There was enough drinks (alcohol), smoke and goat meat pepper soup. Although I don't smoke. I only drink and it's occasionally.

After taking few green bottles, I know I would be very hungry later, so I pleaded with my girlfriend to help me prepare jollof rice and meat, that I'm at a friend's party. I sent her 9k to prepare the food.

As at 8:45pm she called me she's already at my house with the food. So I left the party and headed home to open the door in order not to keep her waiting. Her house isn't far, it's just #100 Keke or bike down to my place

She sat on the couch playing game on her phone, I don't understand what came over me, I was under the influence of alcohol. Omoh! Alcohol na bastard.
