Not Ponzi. They were trading . I wanted to invest once but they didn't take my money. I was told to hold on. They didn't want to collect money they can't trade. That's why they open many outlets and get more traders before they collect money or allow more investors. I
Because if you collect and don't trade that will be ponzi as you said
My friend keep quiet!

If he was paying monthly ROI of 15% then it means he must have been making at least 20% ROI per month...if you put the 20 best forex traders in a room to trade I can guarantee you that none of them will make a consistent ROI of 20% every month in 1 year!

This is actually the most ethical and empathetic thing to do - it's the right thing. But it might never happen.

I could remember in the wake of the Bernie Maddof scandal, companies who had earlier collected their investments with profit returned all such profit to a fund meant to indemnify "investors" who had lost all their money.
Trust me, assuming Oyakhilome returns the money to a committee that is set up to distribute it to aggrieved investors, members of that committee will re-loot the funds...that's how corrupt Nigerians are! grin

Mhen this country is so terrible.

See how everyone here is trying so hard to keep poor people out of business. Cos you had a terrible experience doesn't mean everyone is terrible. Plus it doesn't mean you're not terrible too. So be calming down pls. Is it a crime to not have enough money to afford cars for uber? Is it a crime to seek for help?

And please show me the business that doesn't have losses. Cos your management skill is poor doesn't mean the OP's will be poor too. Take your negative energy elsewhere or better still just view and pass. Typical nigerian, killing people's dream and forming saints everywhere.

If you hear their drivers' part of the story now you'll be amazed at how wicked and negative minded these people are.
Oga keep quiet, business is not done based on sentiments.

What they have said is true, most Nigerians are dishonest including the ones who are poor.

The poor people are even worse cos when they steal from you they assume they're taking their own share of the national cake therefore they will want to clean you out!

As a girl growing up you surely will make mistakes that you really don't know they will have impact on you in time. we were just friend nothing like relationship, I enjoy his company because he's not the type that think salutation means love. He used to help me i also used to help him too. Whenever I have problems I tell him he helps and I also respect and help him too. We borrowed money to each other but recently he's changing he is not like before anyway he called me on Friday to come and see him I did and he told me the money he borrowed me during my birthday that he need it in two days and I told him I don't have money yet and he said OK I should give him something in return I was shocked and I asked what he said sex wtf? I felt embarrassed I told him to give me a week I will pay his money and he attempted to push me down I was able to overpower him and I ran away. He's calling and threatening me for the money or I should give him sex for it. Why are men like this? Why did he change suddenly? Where will I get the money money from now to save myself from further damage.
The borrower is servant to the lender...go and pay you debt.

Ernesttoby30:
Please I'm really in need of your advice or suggestions.

I created a thread before on how i gave a loan to nairalander, but he has refused to pay back the loan.

https://www.nairaland.com/6514229/im-sell-nairalander-laptop

https://www.nairaland.com/6514064/im-sell-nairalander-laptop

So from the suggestions I was given online, i decided to give him some time. But, he's not appreciating my efforts. This is almost the 8th weeks since he collected the loan. A loan he promised to return in 2 weeks time.

Although he gave me the go ahead to sell his laptop, but the amount that he fixed is way above the offers I've been getting. And him on the other hand is just feeling reluctant. As a matter of fact, he doesn't take my calls again. Whenever he managed to take my call, he will just keep mute. He won't say anything.

From the content of his laptop, He's into internet fraud. As a matter of fact, he used a strange number to chat me up and when i view his whatsapp details, i was shocked that he used my name as his whatsapp name (Mind you, my name is very strange. It's not popular at all. Both the spelling etc and i know his real name from the transfer i made to his account). But i overlooked it because all I'm after is my money.

Now the problem is that i have been transferred to Abuja and i will be living latest on Tuesday. And i just need my money. Please please, i need your advice. Should i sell the laptop or what? Even the amount the he fixed for the laptop is unrealistic. It's too high. I believe he purposely did that. Please i need your advice. Almost 8th weeks now... Instead of 2 weeks.
The laptop was given as collateral as loan or a loan.

Since the duration for the loan has lapsed and you're satisfied that you have given him an extension go ahead and sell the laptop and recover your money; just be sure it's not a stolen item!

The most important point to be noted is that truly profitable forex traders do not have the time to be chasing people around for training fee or deposits for trading.

CBN governor
The most important now

Naira is 485 to dollars

Inflation is 22% highest in the world in months

Low quality Locals products are more expensive than higher quality imported one

Minimum wage is not increasing salaries are being slashed

A nation that over look the most important thing or play evil politics with masses warfare will fall without assistance
There's very little the CBN governor can do to stem the slide in value of the Naira.

Nigeria's balance of payment is negative because we spend more forex on imports than what we earn from exports...to make matters worse citizens like you prefer to buy all manner of imported inems instead of patronising local substitutes!

Help save the Naira, buy local rice instead of imported ones, buy Aba made shoes instead of imported ones, by Nigerian made cornflakes instead of imported ones etc!
