Since the properties have valid documents and will eventually be sold I don't see the point in taking a loan and paying interest; just sell the property and unlock the cash your father needs

i believe you have a personal interest in this matter,following the woman all around.she confessed this so called fraud years ago and the man has moved on impregnating another woman,yet none of these subsequent facts matters with you.the woman should find a way to unmask your identity and the identities of the rest and start a class action against you all.if you are aggrieved,why not go to court where everybody will states his or her own side and a verdict is given which you can also appeal.

Since he does not have a healthy bank statement it means the bank option is out.

Your best option now is to look for a money lender within your locality but you may need to come up with another collateral cos I doubt he/she would agree to accept the property as collateral if it does not have a Certificate of Occupancy.

Have you worked out a plan for repayment of the loan and the interest?

You must have a repayment plan in place already and ideally it must be from cash to be generated by your father's business

What you have said is very true.

Some of the people critisicing the couple are also involved in the same thing, the only issue is that their own has not yet resulted in pregnancy like in this case

I'm married with 2 kids, a boy, and a girl but I trust my wife that is why I have never thought of anything like a DNA test, I didn't do the blood group of my kids to know if they carried my blood group because I know my wife will never bring another man's kids for me. If the loan you seek is just 1 million then you don't need to pledge the two landed properties as collateral for the loan.

Just pledge the one with less value because it's forced sale value should be more than enough to provide cover for the loan that's assuming the figure you quoted is the fair open market value
