I have chosen to ignore the fact that you have not properly responded to my statement.  The issue is that Palin and her family were put in the crosshairs of the Democratic hit list just because they stand for everything the Dems fear and dread.  The Republicans may have opposed John Edwards on principles, but they do not demonize him and call him names or put up commercials nationally with a view to misrepresent him and totally destroy his reputation.  That is what the Dems are fond of doing.

The above quote caught my attention.  Is it not funny that all the Left has to offer is the phrase "had it been"! I wish anybody has a concrete proof that shows exactly what these folks said or did in situations like this.  But we know for sure what the Left did to Palin and her family and it wasn't pretty.  While all they have to say is "had it been" , I can readily point out situations with them and make such comments like: "I know".

And by the way, it is the same people being accused that actually stood up to show empathy.  How they could turn around and still be accused is beyond me.  We may stand for morality, but it doesn't mean we do not support and uphold those who fall short.

See each circumstance may be different, but these are people and their lives that we are talking about here. I am usually amazed at the way people like Palin are abused and accused when they seem to fall short of the high standards they profess. I am a Christian and I know I fall way far short than the ideals I profess. Does that mean my ideals are wrong or not attainable? I don't think so. What it means is that I will continue to strive for perfection even though I am falling short of it at the moment.

No one knows what happened btw Obama's parents. Maybe the guy was threatened to marry the woman, maybe not. Either way, I do not blame the parties but commisserate with them. However, I will still be a lead advocate for avoiding sex prior to marriage.

You are right that Obama's Dad went to college, but you miss my point.  My point is the typical way DeReloaded just categorises people and summarily dismiss them as a no-gooder!  Obama's father could very well fit that mold is what I was getting at.

I said Obama was conceived out of wedlock, not born out of wedlock.  These are two different things.
