InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by SavvyLanre: 8:36pm On Mar 13, 2008
Guys, i would not advise for everyone to be moving brokers - especially if they have not done anything wrong, you have to understand the rule of the game, when a stock is on strong bid, it is very difficult for any broker to get it, except when you have a very good relationship with your broker - and he/she gets you a piece of the pie from the little that is available.

Also, volume is key - volume drives the market - i know for a few hands here that can drive a market when they enter and disembark  grin grin

Try to discern when a good stock is on weak bid, or weak offer - and enter when it bottoms out, that way you have a better chance,

my 2 cents, abi Oga pumping, i talk well   cheesy cheesy

Hello guys, which of the branch of cashcraft are we talking about because i have been to their Ajao estate branch and they are very welcoming. I'm planning to open an account with them but with all this complain i'm beginning to think twice.
Why don't you advise your broker - to come and defend itself here - if you have never experienced any of the complains raised against them here. And, that would be very hard to believe for many, except you work directly with cashcraft or your brother, sister family etc is one of the chief executives.

otokx:
I use cashcraft and will give them a passmark despite their occasional shortcomings.
Thanks for that otokx - but, i hope their occasional shortcoming would not cost you a lot later on, Be on your toes, and ensure your life savings is not watered away,

@Napolean, please ignore most of the unnecessary posts of the last couple of days.

This meeting that took place, is there a way you can give others who could not have attended the benefit of knowing what took place there? You don't have to post on the forum if you don't want to. I'll be interested in any news about potential investment opportunities, you can email me at windywendy121 at hotmail dot com.

@all, this forum is seriously becoming something else. The silent reader option is beginning to look more attractive these days. sigh angry

Ha. I see what you mean but I don't have liver for such a stock with very wacky fundamentals.
I concur, at this stage of the game for that sector - we have to start separating the boys from the big boys, o&n was only good for CiCo 2 weeks ago,

@igetwicked

See how you have casually responded to me (even though i called you agbero) - every statement is open to different interpretation.
But, i am trying to support Blueband good deeds - his last entry, did not support his earlier goodwill - and in light of the little, i have known about him on this thread, that last entry no represent am at all,

Anway, if blueband dey listen - he would do the right thing.

End of discussion on this one - lets move on,

BTW - all you silent listeners, i dey watch you now - see wetin una do to Transexpr today, Pumping don warn me tire, i no listen,

Even me ma, i no sey - you were joking. But, not all understand jokes, and with the rate at which this trend moves. Elder Napoleon might have missed your apology.

No use that last entry spoil your good deeds - my advice remove am, and simply apologize again. Bible says, if dem slap one face turn the other, at long last people would respect you the more,

Daddy Napoleaon - Copied loud and clear,
But, for some of us in diaspora - it is a bit difficult trading with those without the jet-age information technology.

On my next visit to Naija - i would try and visit some of the ones you have mentioned.

Infact, i fit trace you as well - come dobale well well at the gate  grin grin grin
Thanks you Sir for your words of wisdom.

abeg, put am for newspaper - we are not only looking out for pumping, but, for those individuals who do not know better,

Imagine, they want to raise funds in the market - FOR WHAT, to steal other peoples money to make the chairman and MD rich?
InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by SavvyLanre: 3:32pm On Mar 07, 2008
Elder Napoleon - somewhat true, in terms of dealing with some of the brokers with small client base.
But, at the same time - nothing stops cashcraft with a large client base not to be very effective. Look at the number of stockbrokers in the west with large client base - i am sure probably 1million times over cashcraft.
Moreover, compare with the likes of vetiva, afrinvest growing their client base everyday - some form of professionalism is needed - and cashcraft completely lacks that service.

BTW - confirmed, you be my Daddy be that o, as your first born landed in 71, i must have been your third born ;-)
