If I were you - I will enter Oceanic or UBA.

My reasons - At their current prices you can go to sleep. They may not make any serious upward movement during 1 or 2 months, but they wont see any dips either.
If you buy any kalokalo stock now or any cyclic stock - you may be on the short end of the stick 1 month from now and by march ending Companies will have started releasing their FYE and trust me there will be nasty suprises for a lot of people.

Oceanic and UBA will still move and they will move big, their stimulus package never arrive - thats all.
en en  grin grin grin madam yodi don endorse oceanic o,  cheesy cheesy cheesy When you board?

You be bigBoyLary? Anyway, while i have over 80% of my portfolio in that sector - i do not see any real bull happening real soon, except you get news wey you never share.

Except you want to advise people to go pick up UBA, oceanic, Zenith, FBN, Diamond, FCMB, GTB et al - which are currently at a good price. (Notice see as i order them - na my list of priority be that o, )

Pumping & Windywendy - as i said no vex, ignorance is a disease, you can't imagine the pain those stupid numbers and confusion around the name used for them have caused me,
CSCS and CHN - at least it was clearer on the skye form.

Thanks once again.

Guys - i am currently doing a research. Please from your perspective, recommend brokers good for CiCo.

Meanwhile, i have asked and would ask again - Does anyone know the right CSCS No. to fill on the form to get your shares directly to CSCS following a PO. (Alphanumeric or Numeric?)

Wonderful plan. I sent out an order today to sell off all the "penny" stocks with wacky fundamentals. Fear don dey catch me. I don't want to be caught when things go sour. Now these stocks are still hot cake and there is no shortage of buyers. They have served me well already.

If you are looking for safety which is safer than UBA? grin I won't go there sha. Not now anyway.

Dangote Sugar, Flour Mills, Beta Glass and Ikeja Hotels catch my fancy at the moment due to strong fundamentals.

I suspect that there is already an insider scoup on AG Leventis regarding the full year results. Of course OandO is a good candidate if you have a superman or superwoman broker.

The way I see it, we will soon run out of "penny" stocks on the exchange since most are doing 5% daily and will soon cross the N10 mark. By the time that bubble bursts folks will be looking for fairly priced stocks. I guess many bank stocks will also benefit from this.

In insurance, I believe Aiico will present a very good opportunity if the bleeding can be sustained. A lot of resistance though.

Does anyone know if International Energy Insurance has plans for a PO?

CAVEAT EMPTY PATAPATA.
Well said oga pumping, and since this was a response to Madam windy, i no go talk too much. But, those ones you highlighted on fundals - one got to bail out after result o, but if one is a long termer no-shaking.

BTW - where is no-shaking, BigboyLary & Fof2.

@Easi - me i was OK o wink, i checked format already. Do you have data for 25th? e be like say Zenith dey check us angry sad

@Aktopgun - you would actually find aptistock better than nigeriansecurities, as you would be more in control. And can check prices, RSI, MACD etc on other days other than the current day as you would have on Nigeriansecurities.

The market is interesting today, people are diverting their loots from the Insurance sector to the Petroleum/Oil sector,
If there is anything i learnt in my very early days from Guru Frankiriri - hold fundamentally sound stocks. (When the sh*t hits the roof, the downfall no go funny o, ) Infact, Aktopgun no go fit handle all the pyscho patients,

Meanwhile, Ololufemi - stop am o, na only me get right to use Oga Pumping

BTW - i am still catching up, on page 546

Upward - I prayed for you too now on air larfarge, i got mine at 65, sometime in June/July07 - my exact expectation were for N90-95 as well by Feb08(even when it took a dip to N60). But, na that stupid news kill am for me, and had to bail out as that news no gree with my analysis. Since, it still fits into your portfolio - then my prayer was still answered :-)

Fof2 and Madam Windy - no fight o, you fit form another Democrat primaries for here.

Fof2 about wapco - I prayed, but my faith wasn't strong enough. But, i believe there is still hope for long term. however, not as good as it would have been with the lifted ban on importation - (The lesson for me, is what do you do when it doesn't go as planned)

@ All who bought Longman,

Hope you watched it hit a brick wall at N30.00 today (gravestone Doji a la AKTopcandle). May be worth divesting if this was a CICO for you - the next direction is likely to be some blood-letting. I'm not divesting because the FY 07 PE is ~ 18, one of the better stocks in my 'folio.
You are WELL informed.
Aba easimoni you too much - leave that one for boys, one man's poison na another man's meat. I would be more than glad to take on your longman poison as meat anyday, as long as those fundals are still standing.

@Fof2 - na u dey control the insurance coy o - what is your outlook for next week, think the bull can rise again on that sector? Meanwhile, most of them should be releasing results very soon.

@Easimoni - you be my true brother o, that long man for NSE still dey stand tall o, grin grin

Unusual high volume can point to TS being near so be on the look out. I hope not sha till you don finish your business. It is good though that it was not with a price drop.

On the other hand, there could a juicy rights issue in the offing and insiders will mop up the shares. No red signal. Just my opinion.
Dem no dey tell person that one twice - but for this one, even if they catch me inside TS, i no go vex too much. Any short-term stock i buy, must pass long term test as well,

@ SavvyLanre,

You still dey fear for me and Upward and Ololufemi for our Air Larfarge?.
Na N67 i take buy oh. I miss am for December before. The stock go do prodigal son late December, e don prodigal finish, e come back come house come BEG FOR MONEY.Na 16% profit so far now and rising SURELY.
The other building material CCNN when go enjoy Air Larfarge windfall still dey rev dey go dey go.E don dey enter N21 plus now. Time don dey go.Na N19 plus e dey hang since oh.
Fof2 - i still dey pray for una o, ZSL thought me one lesson early this year, and i added this to my list of strategy - if i cannot keep a stock for longterm, then i no dey buy am for shorterm in the event of a freefall - i bought UBA @50.95 (No shaking) although i added some more at 49. Nascon at 19.50 last year, and yet no shaking, The only reason i sold my Air larfarge (bought at 67) was due to that importation news - i am not sure how the market would react to it, and since i am a small boy and other better stock dey for market - i quickly commot my money. But my prayer is that it reaches your exit point,

Meanwhile, i beg no talk too much o, on that thing i asked you on wednesday  (remember the silent big pockets) - as i see say you don dey give tips already - because your boy go wipe some off the floor on Monday. (the o and the n - i see that one too  grin)
Don't know which gets better result - INSTINCT or TECHNICAL ANALYSIS.  I sent in a buy order to my broker to get me Deap Capital after mark down, but after reading someone here's opinion, it sounded right that I shouldn't go in yet.  So I cancelled the order immediately.  If I had listened to my instincts, I would be counting my gains right now. That aside, everyone makes this mistake.  The guy's reasoning too was rational. It can happen in a bullish season.

@Pumping777, please tell, how much do you know about this Deap Capital.  My knowledge to me is still scanty.  Please holla back as usual.
Getting it is another thing you need to worry about - As ZSL could not get it for me (That was my bid two days after the mark down).

My advice to all is do CICO only if you are prepared to go long-term if the tide turns.
Baba Wanaj0 - And, i am still listening grin grin grin
eniymann - e ku oro agba (I no fit translate am),

That has always been my strategy - that is why i cannot do penny stocks without fundamentals or good growth potentials. Except, Windywendy talk, and now i don begin to dey listen to Pumping after Deap.
