Akin-Egba is Ibo. His other handle, Lamidi-Obi has now been banned, I think

All he does, he trolls the forum trying his best to look like an slowpoke & portray Yoruba people in bad light. That's his life sad
the article only makes sense to a goat like Onlytruth

This article is deep. I won't wave it away at all! Everything in it makes sense. undecided
you are very foolish you think yoruba people will vote for IBB and an igbo vice? You must be drunk thats is like votin for Balewa and Zik WE WILL NEVER DO IT.
If the North wants yorubas support they better try something better like  pushing Saraki  or Smart Adeyemi because theyre the only ones that can make yorubas vote against Jonathan. Even at that saraki d baastard will have to postrate before Alaafin of oyo and Ooni of ife before he gets support and prolaim his Yorubaness over fulani.

Yorubas are tribalistic but we are not stupiddd- a yorubman voting for IBB and Odili is a very silly one even this fool that is talking now will probably secretly cast a vote for Goodluck Jonathan

remember we tend to be tribalisric not stupiddd- we will not even look at a ticket with no yoruba as president or vice. WE ARE NOT MUMUS

PoliticsRe: Yoruba Secret Support For Ibb by sbeezy8: 6:48am On Sep 21, 2010
thats like throwing votes away

would a northnerner vote for a sw-se ticket? NO
If IBBs vice was from the SW would an easterner or niger deltan vote for him? NO

So on the fact alone that IBBs vice isnt yoruba CANCELS ALL CHANCES OF HIM WINNING IN THE SW.
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Secret Support For Ibb by sbeezy8: 6:38am On Sep 21, 2010
i feel like killing FAKE yoruba people like this.

if anything is to be said it is that jonathan is the best among the worst.
meaning who other would yoruba people vote for. ibb is terrible

its not as if hes running with a popular yoruba candidate as vice , did he offer to hand over presidecy to yoruba people? NO, SO HE GETS NO SUPPORT AT ALL

the ONE govenor - he might like ibb but he knows theres nothing to gain in supporting him LOUDLY in the SW because IBBs running mate is not yoruba.
so there is no more ibb relevance in the SW- end of.

I have alot of uncles who are friends with IBB but to vote and support him in the SW? THEY WOULDNT EVEN THINK OF IT ESP IF THEY ARE NOT HIS VICE OR IF HIS VICE ISNT YORUBA.

trashy article- doesnt even make sense
PoliticsRe: Ibb Visits Ojukwu In Enugu by sbeezy8: 1:12am On Sep 20, 2010
june 1993?

I dont know would igbos want that option - have an igbo candidate win elections, IBB anull it and that igbo candidate killed, then afterwards install the WORSE igbo as president.

and no june 12 never went away it temporarily subsided. Obasanjo will die one day, because im sure he too was behind the anullment and other yorubas as well. duh
PoliticsRe: North Mounts Pressure On IBB To Withdraw by sbeezy8: 1:01am On Sep 20, 2010
hmm toomuch conniving in naija shet!

Atiku and saraki are the northerners ONLY choice. I think its funny to see the north splitting themselves.

I actually heard Gasau is very nice. LOL ironic

kosovo:
Pathetic story, who represents the North?,
in pdp
Gasau
IBB
Saraki
Atiku

now who represents the south?
Jonathan LOL

My brother until we address the fundamental problem that facilitate against that cause, trust me we will not make any headyway cos any effort put towards that will be sabotaged. It might be hard 4u to accept but thats true, Westerners revolted after the anullment of June 12 and the Notherners knw that there will be no peace except a Yoruba man is installed as the president hence OBJ was picked and sworn into the presidency. You can believe this or not, but we have so many Igbos fighting against the Igbos than we have those fighting a beneficial cause for us. Enyim aru juo gi oyi, makana iwe na ewe gi na ewe onye ozo, but that won't profer the solution to our problemsYaradua. . .Notherners. Also June 12 died the moment OBJ became president
sbeezy8:
yaradua? NO

fulani didnt call for it the WHOLE Norths power brokers settled for it because they feared another fulani Buhari winning. If igbo can ask the WHOLE south to settle to support an igbo president - fine

did ojukwu give his support to shagari? yes or no

did ojukwu give his support to Abacha, who participated in the war? yes or no

did ojukwu except the friendship of IBB and call him his bosom friend ? yes or no

very simple questions- If yes to atleast 2/3 questions

then Ojukwu is no differrent than what ever cowards existed back 40 something years ago.

Igbos have been unjustly marginalised, but at this age i really do not blame anybody on that other than our(igbo) greedy politicians. Look at what happened in 1999 when Jim Nwobodo betrayed Ekwueme in PDP primaries and they used him to split the eastern votes. I think we should blame our politicians more because they can sell their own just to secure their political position. We cannot be a major force when all our leaders(igbo) do is betray themselves. How many of them have sincerely called for an igbo president? During OBJ's term, we were given the seat of Senate President and we all know how many senate presidents the tenure produced, OBJ was tossin them around, but he could not remove Umar N'abba that was a pain in the behind for him because of the Nothern solidarity. LIFE CANNOT GIVE YOU ANYTHING EXCEPT YOU DEMAND FOR IT
no tribe in nigeria has ever called for a president from their ethnicity- and got it.

lol he wont make it to the polls I guarantee it. GEJ as the support of 10 northern states, 6 south south states, and 4 SW states even if IBB gets support from the 4 SE states- wont be enough to make it to the poll.

This game is still at the level of infancy. The road ahead is still very far. Like I've said several times before, my soft heart is with Jonathan because I share in his struggles as an easterner, but I can't count on his leadership abilities to make major changes in Nigeria. Ironically, a northerner like IBB has the balls to make such changes. It is crazy, but true.
Check Nigeria's history, IBB has impacted federal bureaucracy more than any other Nigerian president.
The federal government as we know it today was built up to 70% by IBB. FACT.

As for more southern candidates showing up, more of them will show up as VPs to northern candidates because they know about the zoning issue. It is unspoken, but there.
vote IBB then.
PoliticsRe: Ibb Visits Ojukwu In Enugu by sbeezy8: 12:12am On Sep 20, 2010
Onlytruth:
You seem to be incapable of following even YOUR own logic. So, you want IBB to come and say something like "Oh, I dusted off OBJ and gave him  his balls back after Abacha took them, and single handedly put him on the throne". Is that what you want to hear?
I don't care how he does it, we need an Igbo man as president of Nigeria before we can buy anything else from Nigeria. That is where a lot of you people make mistakes. Nigeria has fundamental issues that must be resolved before we start talking about a free and fair elections.

That is the same reasons why we won't have a free and fair elections next year, at least at the presidential levels.
I wouldnt say It was IBB alone the northern Emirs definately had ALOT to do with putting OBJ there. IBB alone doesnt have th power to put anyone as president IF YOU CAN GUARANTEE THAT THE NORTH WILL GUARANTEE A IGBO PRESIDENT- go head but I doubt that cause nothing guaranteed in Nigeria.

as for 2011 I thinks its going to be more free and fair then the past. There is no popular southern candidate running the north will split itself against Jonathan. so hes winning anyway

Do you honestly believe that the only thing you have in Nigeria is votes?
Is that how Yoruba controlled Nigeria's presidency for 8 years?
Is Obasanjo or Falae, Abiola?
Did Obasanjo win the elections that was annulled?  huh
If it is only your votes, do you think a Yoruba would have ruled Nigeria? huh
Did Jonathan, for instance, become VP through votes? huh
I can go on, but then I know you and your people. Your selfishness is astounding.
common sense will tell you people cast votes IF obj was handpicked that should be brought up by IBB- he obviously wanted Obj as president and not Mko abiola who people voted for. If Jonathan was hand picked, Obj obviously wanted him to be president - ITS BAD but its already there.
speaking in the near future I like most yoruba people want free and fair elections even if a northerner emerges time and time again as long as the people including southerners voted for him

maybe IBB can rig eletion for an igboman to win in the north, I doubt the emirs imams would allow him tho. you can try to vote IBB

What people still don't understand is that Ndigbo feel that there is a post civil war conspiracy against them in Nigeria. That conspiracy has manifested several times, and some groups (who were bested by the Igbo in the 50s and 60s) openly boast that they would never allow an Igbo to become president. So, in light of that, do you think that Ndigbo will accept anything short of presidency of Nigeria? huh Of course not. undecided

@koruji  It is idiotic to compare us to Yoruba subgroups. We are a nation of between 30 to 50 million people.
It is like telling a Zulu that he can never be president of South Africa. Igbo could be the single largest ethnic group in Nigeria. We are talking about the presidency because of that fact.

Anything outside of that will signal to us that the civil war is still continuing. That is why folks like Ojukwu will remain relevant to Igbo psychology in Nigeria. He epitomizes our struggle, survival and independence.
Number 1 igbo are not and have never been better than any other tribe in Nigeria, Its crazy to say igbo bested anyone, Minority groups in particular were under the hegemoney of the east north and west. What do you expect them to revert East West North? and only vote for any of the three big tribes.

Or maybe you expect ayorubas to go to that awolowo stage- me against the world. NO not happening- we are on our own.

Igbos held higher position before at the detriment of others. in a north 1st and east 2nd  coalition- which is fine

As for the conspiracy take that up with those who feel that way because I like many westerners dont-  THE ONLY THING WE HAVE ARE VOTES and we do nothing but vote like most westerners

Beaf:
Dude, there is a lingering problem that Nigeria cannot avoid confronting, lest it grows bigger and swallows the country (that might sound far fetched, but it isn't).
Igbo's have been marginalised and suppressed since the civil war, everyone knows it and several Northern politicians have admited to it.

If you have ever been to the East, you will know that the decay of the Lagos - Benin route is comparatively minor. The federal neglect there is tragic, it is the physical representation of the truth laid bare for all to see.

These things need to be righted, but I am arguing that having the presidency will not wave them away. Indeed, other ethnic groups want it just as badly.
They should vote for IBB to correct that then-

Beaf:
I think this is the wrong way to look at it, considering that there are some 300 ethnic groups in the country who want their kith to be President as well.

What must be done, is the marginalisation of the Igbo must stop, they must be 100% reintegrated into Nigerian society; they must be seen to be equal to all others within the scheme of things; negotiated recompense must be made for pre-war and post-war loses; the civil war must be commemorated and remembrances and statues built for Igbo heroes, so that we can truly bury the past and say "never again."
what can be done to fully integrate the igbo because all the igbos I know are enjoying naija and live no different than any other tribe-

Well, if I must burrow it into your skull, we want to be Nigerians or Biafrans. It must be one or the other. How can I be a Nigerian when I can't tell my child that he can become Nigeria's president one day?
If I can't say that -because of whatever reason- then there is a question about my nationality. undecided Are Igbos Nigerians?
If we are, then we MUST produce a Nigerian president. If not, we must leave Nigeria. Simple.
Igbos are Nigerian- maybe its because most of the igbos I know come from wealthy families are enjoying naija when I see them in Abuja or Lagos London or ATL or DC. Do you know The Udojis?  The anumudus? When I say know, I mean personally?

It was shame your father, uncles, bothers and cousins stood as onlookers while shaking in their pants as drunken northern regional soldiers of Nigerian army killed the son of soil and took several turns in despoiling your sisters and aunts. The fathomable actions your loudmouthed lineage could muster were either racing to Dahomey to hide or lining up to carry the boots of soldiers.
We know that yorubas were killed in Both coups. Akintola by the igbo coup to install zik or irionsi even if the few idiots among them were yoruba.
But as for the killing the son of the soil are you talking of fajuyi, who probably planned knew about the coup or are you talking about Akintola who was killed in the igbo coup.

the raping yoruba women by drunken northerners NEVER heard that rumor ( Ive never even set my eyes on a drunken aboki) . . . but I do know about the beautiful biafran women who were raped or married like ndidi maryam babangida.

In this your response you say the yoruba soldiers are cowards, ok fine but you always said that Ojukwu ran away to live to fight snother day, so maybe they had the same strategy as Ojukwu. LOL

Those Yoruba leaders (although they can't really be said to be Yoruba leaders) supporting Jonathan will realize they are committing political suicide on behalf of the entire Yoruba nation if the Igbo people eventually decide to go with the North.

In a way, I am going to enjoy it. You don't change the goal post during a match. We all know even if it was not written in Nigerian constitution that zoning is the only thing keeping Nigeria in peace.

It will be better to support Jonathan on another platform other than the PDP.
haha since when did yoruba people do what you stated above? HAHAHA maybe being in Abuja among northerners has affected your brain.

The only time we change is when we are up for president, any time other than that we are neutral and decide to go the right way.

Instead of you stay say a reasonable thing like yorubas should vote for Ribadu not Jonathan you are here saying yorubas should go with IBB. YOU MUST BE SICK.

If Igbos want they should vote for IBB who is the norths choice for PDP- Yoruba people can never regret not voting for IBB.
