Fools!!! How many of unemployment youths wandering nairaland every minute had d opportunity of becoming LG councilors at 35 yrs? U were military governor in ur early 30. Head of state in ur 40s and president at 72 without certificate. While MSc holders wander abyd streets in endless search for job. These old fools has ruined this country.

This is a source of concern. I write for a few friends of mine - hardworking and nice guys (30+ years) working in various reputable firms in Nigeria. But 3, 4, 5 years after, they are still searching for the lady of their heart desires. I also notice the trend everywhere I go.
Just as we complain about the growing number of unmarried ladies, I'm also worried abt the growing number of unmarried, comfortable men who are over 30 years.
A case in study is a popular friend of mine who has been working in the oil sector for more than 5 years. He clocks 33 this year. He still remains unmarried. He says he is still searching. I can count more than 10 of my friends - comfortable, hale and healthy, gainfully employed but single after working for more than 5 years..What can be the cause?
Are ladies getting scarce, or is it that there are few "wife materials" in town now? or are they simply afraid of making commitment?

There are gals everywhere but only few are wife in d making. That's d bone of contention. Another thing is finding true love, either she shows u love (for God knows reason) but deep inside, u don't love her or u love her but deep inside u know she doesn't live u enough to tie d knot.
Lastly but not d least, some guys are afraid of financial responsibility that comes with marriage, cos nowadays, only few ladies helps their men to grow financially, d rest are so dependent. So guys need to hustle n save enough to prepare for the ultimate move. Sometimes It's not about how many years u v worked with a company but how much u v saved.

I thought along that line too but we're not sure, that's y I said u should inform d Dad pending when her mother returns back. Just do d right thing n leave d rest to God. I don't know if this is the right room to post this, but am really disturbed.

I was watching "This morning" on TVC this morning when this little girl and her siblings walked in. She will be clocking 3 this year as I heard. They usually come around like that and most times I joke and play with them.
Today, when this little girl came in. She jumped on my legs, so I left her to sit on my laps while I watch my program.

Before I knew what was happening, I felt a touch on my joystick. At first, I was confused. I looked at her to know if she did it on purpose or not. I removed her hands to be sure, then I continued to watched my program. Then again. She started rubbing my joystick!

At that time. I knew something was wrong. I didn't know how to caution her, because I never believed a girl of 3 would know what a joystick is and not to talk of rubbing it with her hand.

Then, I dropped her on the floor and used a pillow to cover my laps and joystick. I was watching what her next step would be. To my greatest surprise, this girl came again, removed the pillow, sat on my joystick and starting making some funny moves. I was dumbfounded! I had to spank her hard and I sent the whole kids outta my flat. It was embarrassing.

So right now. Am still confused, I think someone around the neighborhood is molesting this little girl, the mother is not around, only the dad. I intend reporting her to her mother when she comes back. What' do you think about this?

No doubts, someone is molesting d child. I advise u report to her Dad cos I believe he ll do something concerning it pending when her mother ll return. Pls, it's important.

The problem in Nigeria that were caused by past Yoruba n Hausa leaders are the ones coming from the presidency. No matter the mistakes of Igbo governor, senators or reps etc, its still 5 percent damage unlike the one done by the presidency.

igbos are left to rule Nigeria, all other major tribes have ruled, I believe Igbo leaders will do better than all of them.

Ok,how many Igbos contested for president in d just concluded election? How can an Igbo man rule with this kind of over zealousness in them?
For God's sake this is democracy n everybody has d right to vie for presidency. D question is, Can d Igbos ever adopt a concensus candidate for president during an election? Devise a means to reach out to other tribes to garner their support.
Let's stop acting like other regions ll just fold hands n ask the Igbos to contest n win d election alone. It must be contested with other people that's y it's called an election.

Please an Igbo man has ruled this country for 6 months out of 55 years. Yoruba n Hausa ruled this country for 55 years, they caused the bulk of our problem.

The last time I checked, all state governors in Igbo land receives federal allocation and Igbos r well represented at federal level. So if there's anything we lack in Igbo land that d Govt would have done, blame it in our Igbo sisters and brothers that represents us at d federal level. GEJ is from SS, Bayelsa state to be precise,what tangible development did he bring to that state n SS at large?

My question to Ezekwesili is, what happen to bring back our girls movement (BBOG) ? de seems dormant lately, Or was it established for political reasons?

Two wrongs can't make a right. Leave d dumb in his dumbness. Don't curse his lineage. I believe someday he ll understand that our problems were not caused by a "particular group " but by some people amongst us (Igbos,Hausas, Yorubas collectively)
