In some schools YES and in others NO. The same way some schools offers Embryology as part of anatomy and some don't.
It's not uniform it's dependent on the school and curriculum (Gross anatomy practical).

Anatomy dissection in UNN is 4 credits dunno if it's same as those in other schools but in my time it wasn't even in the curriculum.

depends on your school, if they have gross anatomy practicals for other BMS department then you will. In my school it is compulsory, you can't run away from it.

There is no room for comparison at all, go straight for computer science, get a laptop and start learning programming, web development on his own right from 100 level through various online platforms, he will also meet some badass programmers as his colleagues and network with them. Get some certification after graduation and he is good to go. Computer education will only limit him to teach at secondary school and roadside computer centers. If he even intends going into academics with his computer science degree, he will be thinking of NIIT and other certified institutions.

Let USAID withdraw total support for Nigeria and you will find out HIV test may be 5,000 naira

I remember a book I read that was investigating plane crashes in a Korean airline and they found out the co_pilots won't correct or inform the captain when he may be taking a wrong decision. Funny enough UN receives 1/3 of its funding from US, many didn't vote today in fear of Donald Trump's threat. I don't even see the need for this vote as it is non binding and Donald Trump will still go ahead with his relocation of the Embassy.

physiotherapy yes, Medlab No, optometry can't remember if they still accept transfer. But you should know it is 50:50 nothing is guaranteed even if you have 5.0 CGPA

yes you can transfer from MBC to nursing as long as you have a good CGPA but be ready, transfer is now 100k against 50k it was before

Hey guys. OK. Straight to the point, this is my problem. I have a bachelor's degree in public health from Madonna University. Graduated with a 2:1. I have MOOC certifications in Nutrition. I have HSE 1-3 certifications and I know I'm a very bright person. But I'm jobless. I don't understand if its the course I read or if its just me.

So I'm asking, what can I really do with a bachelor's degree in Public Health? I really can't go for my MPH right now due to financial reasons. I'm really lost because I don't really understand what I'm supposed to be doing. Nigeria doesn't particularly have a place for me to fit in or is it just me that is searching the wrong places? I've graduated from school since 2014. Searched high and low for a job that is closely related to my field but all my efforts have been futile. Does it mean that there's no hope for a Bsc Public Health holder or can't I become something relevant without an MPH?

surely you may have been looking at the wrong places, there are tons of NGO's out there that you could work with. Volunteer for anyone you can lay your hands on if there is no vacancy, with work experience you will surely land a job in another within short time. Search NGOs in the field of maternal and child health, HIV Aids Advocacy and others

you are in Benin if not I would have recommended prof Agbonlahor's lab in Benin city (Labor research Institute) , he is one of the fathers in biomedical research in Nigeria. You can also look for the nearest NIMR closest to you(Nigerian Institute of medical research) but be wise in all your dealings, if you can get a lawyer so you won't be played do so

wonderful, where do you guys get all this cooked info from?. Same hall 3 I am typing from or another one , that was how people said my dept was on fire while I was there jejely charging my phone.
No one was beaten by any soldier neither did they even come close to the hostels,school only disconnected light and water supply from hostels which has forced many students to vacate on their own

your GP is the most important factor but not the only determinant, things such as : if you had a carryover at the end of year 1, no of students physiotherapy admitted which will determine if they still have space for transfer and others. Transfer is a 50:50 gamble in uniben. Nothing is guaranteed but with luck and favour from above, it will fall into place.

the school fees and acceptance fee for this year seems the management is still not decided on the fixed amount. Don't know if it has been increased or not
