Can a 100L Uniben nursing student switch to medicine, is it possible to change course after gaining admission? What are the requirements?
There is no transfer to medicine or dentistry. Even my dept Medlab has never taken transfer since 2014, only nursing, physiotherapy, anatomy, physio and medbiochem accept transfer in college of medical sciences.

RomanceRe: Just How Deep Is The Average Vagina, Actually? by Scholar212(m): 4:26pm On Oct 29, 2017
The vagina is about 4-6cm long but stretches during arousal to accommodate the length of whatever is going in the there. The end of the vagina is the cervix and hitting the cervix which serves as the opening of the uterus is usually painful for the lady. For those thinking their pole can hit a Baby's head if there it is near impossible as the entrance is constricted for just blood and sperm to enter and go out except during labour where it dilates

maximum of 100 but usually around 90 from PUME, and the rest from DE and JUPEB

Even if you are from Nasarawa if you meet the cut off for merit list you will surely be admitted

Have donated twice before and my first donation was done because I saw them giving rice, malt and gala to those that make donation and you will also choose from the varieties of accessories they brought, so I choose umbrella then.. ..
My second donation was done when my brother was admitted and needs blood..

So why did you donate blood?
lol at rice, malt and gala grin. Donated about 4 times , well am a student and during clinical postings we encounter some patients whose supposed donor don't match and are out of cash to buy.
Even donated platelets only through a process called apheresis where the blood is separated and the rest component returned to my System and only the platelets collected for a a patient with leukemia.
Will probably donate twice again b4 graduation next year as my blood replenishes quick, my own little way of charity giving since I don't have cash now to give

Cant Find Doctors, Nurses To Employ In Kebbi -Bagudu
On 15/Oct/2017 / In Medical News

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has lamented non-availability of medical practioners such as doctors, nurses and midwives in Kebbi State for immediate employment in many of the health facilities and hospitals.

The governor, while speaking during the annual general meeting of the Islamic Medical Association in Birnin Kebbi at the weekend, said his administration had embarked on many initiatives to tackle health issues in Kebbi State but there were no doctors and nurses to engage. “Today I can’t find doctors, nurses and mid-wives to employ,” he said.

He called on stakeholders, royal fathers and religious leaders to support government in mobilizing and encouraging medical practioners from the state to come forward for employment into the state hospitals and other health facilities.

Bagudu charged the Islamic Medical Association to assist the government to encourage Muslim doctors and nurses to offer themselves for employment in the state hospitals.

HealthSokoto State To Disengage Non Qualified Personnel In Labs by Scholar212(op): 12:42pm On Oct 17, 2017
Commissioner: No Room for Quacks in Sokoto Labs
On 13/Oct/2017 / In Medical News

Sokoto State Commissioner for Health, Dr Balarabe Shehu Kakale has said there is no room for quackery in the medical laboratories in the state.

He urged the management of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) to join hands with his Ministry to eradicate the menace in the state.

Kakale spoke when he received the MLSCN Acting Registrar, Mr Tosan Erhabor.

He said Governor Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, quackery would no longer be tolerated in medical laboratory facilities because of its harmful effect on the people.

According to him, B.Sc and HND holders or others with similar qualifications should not be working in the medical labs as they had not been trained to do so.

“We cannot condone quackery. If you are not a professional, trained specifically to work in the medical laboratory, but you decide to go and work there, that could also be suicidal considering that you might not know how to handle certain specimens that you may be exposed to. Therefore, you could easily be infected.”

The Commissioner recalled that a directive had been issued to the Ministry of Higher Education to stop posting polytechnic students to medical laboratories for Industrial Attachment.

While pledging support for the Council’s efforts to stamp out quackery and ensure that medical laboratories performed up to expectation, Kakale also enjoined the MLSCN to help his Ministry advocate more funding for the health sector, particularly at the Federal Government level as the budgetary allocation to the sector had not achieved much.

“We have to work together, as no single person or group can do it alone.

‘’The Federal allocation to the health sector is a problem. Also, there are existing laws that have not been effectively implemented, including the National Health Act which, if fully implemented, could positively impact medical laboratory services,” he said.

The MLSCN boss explained that the courtesy visit was in furtherance of the cordial relationship between the Council and the Sokoto State Government, especially the Ministry of Health. He urged the state to work with the Council towards eradicating quackery which he described as the most virulent cankerworm militating against progress in the medical laboratory services sector in the country.

“Suffice it to say that the activities of quacks have continued to put the lives of our citizens at risk, in addition to creating crisis of confidence for which citizens with the wherewithal prefer to travel to other climes in search of perceived quality diagnosis.

‘’Quackery is not only when a trader or carpenter pretends to be a doctor or a medical lab scientist. Anyone that is working in a field, pretending to have the requisite training and experience, which they don’t actually possess, is, indeed, a quack! Thus, there should be no room for BSc. HND and ND holders; including Corps members in any medical laboratory in this state, even for the purpose of internship, when there are qualified Medical Lab Scientists, Technicians and Assistants available for such duties,” he said.

While expressing the Council’s readiness to collaborate with the state to sanitise medical laboratories there, Erhabor advised the Ministry to ensure that tertiary health facilities in the state commenced the process of getting their laboratories accredited as soon as possible in addition to keying into the Council’s External Quality Assurance (EQA) scheme.

“These schemes,” he noted, “were established to ensure that medical laboratory tests results based on the same reagents, specimens, and parameters etc., are incontrovertibly accurate and similar irrespective of the location of the facility.”

Younger bro studied biology education against all advice cos he couldn't wait to retake jamb and the university gave him admission for Edu.
Pls what career path can he tow apart from teaching? I suggested he goes back to uni to study a different course, he refused.can he go for MSc,MBA or MEd? A friend's husband teaches at A British international school and earns 700k a month. This friend advuced bro to take short courses in British curriculum, Montessori etc so that if he decides to teach,he might be lucky to get a good international school but kid bro has refused to have anything to do with teaching. Advice pls
If he was given an education course and spent 4years studying it and doesn't want to teach then why didn't he transfer or retake Jamb?, the choice is his to make not you, let him decide on what he wants to do and support him, it may be trading, learning a skill, going for masters and getting into lecturing, there are countless choices to make but it is his own decision.
And I doubt any private school, British or Canadian or American pays 700k to any teacher except maybe the management team in Nigeria. How much are professors earning in federal universities

Why do they insist that the age range must be from 22 to 28 years. So someone who is 30 years cannot apply with the incessant strikes in our universities that delays one from graduating early.

or is there any other way they do their own age calculation. That aspect alone will disqualify a lot of potential professional applicants because of the nature of our programs.

Please I need an opinion on this, If you are 30 and meet all other criteria, will you accepted?
military is usually very strict with their requirements, if it is stated 22-28, then even 29 will be rejected.
