While I won't argue the fact that most of the admissions in Uniben is transparently done and it's rare for "long legs" to come into play, u shouldn't conclude that people don't get into Uniben by connection. I know of someone whose name was already pencilled down for admission in Uniben irrespective of his performance in the post UTME exercise. So, tho it's rare, admission by long legs exist

everyone knows that there are those with genuine long legs, I have spent 4years in uniben and know alot of in details. Even ordinary staff school students have a quota. But not those advertising admission on social media who are out to dupe the unsuspecting public. If you read the update I posted it was a general warning so that innocent applicants do not fall victim of scam.

you are an idiot for telling me to keep quiet. I only pasted the update as received from our SUG Parliament. If anyone has a driver to the secretary to cleaner of the VC's PA who promised him admission how is that my business? Or you think am an aspirant? I wrote my first PUME in 2011 in uniben and am a final year student.
Numerous applicants are duped and scammed yearly all in the name of been offered admission. This is a warning and no one is forced into any transaction. People who have legit connection exist but very few out of the thousands promising fake admission that never exist. A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE

MED, dentistry, nursing,medlab,physiotheraphy and radiography are professional courses and already should have enough first choice applicants, if you are still giving admission in college should be physiology,anatomy,medbiochem but just pray to be admitted.. You can always try transfer later or take jamb again in 100level with better exposure and experience

I can see the scores have started flying in, gone are the days when uniben gave us our Postume score straight with admission status.. You guys should chill and pray for the best, your admission mostly depends on other applicants with you, if 500 people have 80 and above as aggregate for medicine and uniben is admitting 100, then cut off mark will be shifted forward. Vice versa;
For those having 65 and above for art and engineering courses your admission is almost guaranteed... It is over here in medical complex cut off is mostly unpredictable

lol, your comment shows you have no understanding of how a university and it's teaching hospital works. DELSUTH has gone to the dogs,am a deltan, few years ago when they kicked off, it was world class,now nothing to write home about it. Infact my aunt had a referral there few months back and the place was in darkness throughout one whole night cry

. UBTH that was even looked down upon as been in bad state is 10* better than DELSUTH now, it saddens my heart as a deltan with the huge allocation the state receives but DELSUTH is dead already.

Akwa Ibom state government is Enjoying the dividends of her investments in infrastructural development in the state. Hotels in Uyo will be smiling to the bank. Even our National Stadium in Abuja has been relegated to the background. I wish I can change my state of origin form Delta to Akwa Ibom, my state is a colossal failure. the Thunder that will strike you is still in incubation. This is reason I don't see myself staying in traditional hospital practice. Many of these doctors are well exposed and know how things are done in developed climes but come back to Nigeria to form LORD OF ALL, all CMDs,CMAC, commissioners for health, minister for health are medical doctors yet they don't want others to progress in their career. It took court interventions before heads of medical laboratory departments was returned to med lab scientist. Healthcare doesn't revolve around doctors anymore, you guys Can cry a river if you want

First of all, I work in an establishment where my basic salary is 70k/month. I ve been working there for two years now and by the grace of God , I've been able to save up to 800k which could reach 1mill by the end of this year..

Go through the the treasury bill and mutual fund thread, there are experts there that can guide you through as they are the risk free investment that can atleast fetch you some earnings instead of it just sleeping in your account. You can use it to bid for treasury bills and use the upfront payment for mutual fund. You can be searching for better jobs if the present one is not okay with you. In all you do always remember INVEST YOUR TIME TO UNDERSTAND FULLY ANYTHING YOU WANT TO GO INTO BEFORE INVESTING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. Many will come with ridiculous offers, if it is too good to be true then it ain't true.

First, let me welcome you guys to Uniben, 4 years ago I was an aspirant on the 2013/14 Uniben admission thread currently about entering my finals ( 5th year).
For those that are new to the environment you should always ask your way around, don't form big boy and get lost. grin

various fellowship are always on ground to assist with Red Cross and others.
Bus is 30 naira to anywhere on campus, cab is 100 Nair a, don't pay more than that cos this cab drivers always want to extort you if they know you are JJC.
Finally be wise and use your common sense, don't fall Mugu. You can report to security or to the SUG secretariat at JUNE 12 incase of anything and you will be promptly attended to. Goodluck to you all
