Christianity EtcRe: Ishmael And Isaac, The Great Cover-up by Scholar8200(m): 8:23am On Jun 15, 2015
Beisdes, Ishmael and Hagar had been sent away by Abraham before this test came. The trial of Abraham is in Genesis 22 which commences with a statement showing that the events in chapter 22 occurred after those recorded in 21

Genesis 22:1

After these events, God tested and proved Abraham and said to him, Abraham! And he said, Here I am.
2 [God] said, Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah; and offer him there as a burnt offering upon one of the mountains of which I will tell you.

The highlighted are all chronicled in chapter 21

EMILO2STAY:
the parable of the richman and lazarus has been the foundation of many erronouse beliefs about hell today. Some view this not as a parable but as a true story christ told to give details about the purnishment of sinners in hell. But thorough examination of this will show that the general understanding of this scripture are fallacious and misleading.
Did u notice the rich man was not accused of any sin?, he was simply portrayed as a wealthy man living the good life. Lazarus was never said to be a righteous man, he is just one who has the misfortune to be poor and unable to care for himself.
If this story is literal then the logical implicantion is that all who is wealthy and living the good life today will burn in hell, while all the poor rihteous or not will be saved. Does anyone believe this to be the case? How can one enjoy eternal bliss in heaven if they can be able to view those in hell including there loved ones roasting alive forever? Do u believe that a human spirit have a tongue and can be thirsty for water?
These are just some of the difficulties we encounter when we take this parable literal. Remember christ thought using other parables such as the lost coin , the lost sheep , the prodigal son, the parable of the sower etc. A parable is an allegorical story meant to convey a moral lesson/spiritual meaning for the spiritualy minded. Mathew 13.1-3, 10-15.
From the scriptures above we can see that christ spoke in parables to hide the the larger spiritual truth from the spiritualy blind, which is no wonder many has got it wrong with the rich man and lazarus story.
Let us examine the story. Luke 16.19. There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day.
The rich man in this parable represent the jews of jesus day exemplified by the religeous teachers the pharisees and the scribes.
In the first century A.D the jews were the only people on earth with the true relgion. paul recounts the glorious station of the house of judah in romans 9.3-5. The jews were truely rich feasting on Gods spiritual blessings, yet these blessings caused them to stumble cuz it prompted them to self righteousness. They glorified in the gifts instead of glorifiying the eternal God who gave them. Instead of becoming a royal priesthood that should be a blessing to all nations, they loathed and despised the surrounding gentile people. Certainly their table became a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution. Rom.11.9.
But there was a certain begger full of sores who laid at his gate desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich mans table, moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
In contrast to the richman we see lazarus. Notice he is depicted as a beggar. This is an apt describtion of the Gentiles who laid at the gate of judah. Paul describes the predicament of the Gentiles before they received christ in ephisians 2.12.

From the passage above the gentiles were certainly excluded from the common wealth of israel, strangers to the covenant of promise and without hope and God in this world. The gentiles were beggars located outside judah and longing to be fed spiritual crumbs from the table of the divinenly blessed jews. The jews considered the gentiles to be unclean dogs, even christ used this comparison when conversing with the phoenician woman along the region of tyre. Mark 7.24-30.

Luke 16.22. So it was that lazarus died and was carried by the angels to abrahams bossom, and the richman died and was buried.
Did you notice from the above passage that lazarus was not buried? But carried by the angels to abrahams bossom. If this passage were to be taken literal then all poor who beg for food will be carried by the angels to pardise at death. The death of both the rich man(who represented the jews) and lazarus ( who represented the gentiles nations) are symbolic in this parable. Here there demise depicts an elemental change in the status and position of the two groups. To confirm this, lets look at the meaning of lazarus been in carried to abrahams bossom. The figurative meaning of been in one's bossom is to be in position of closeness, to be highly regarded. John.13.23. Paul explains this imagery in galatians 3.6-9
Luke 23:43 shows that people do not go to their graves to sleep there except you mean that paradise is synonymous to the grave.

Luke 23:43
...Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with Me in paradise,
This was said to the thief on the cross.

Consider Genesis 49:33

And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people.

Jacob died and was gathered unto his people. This clearly shows that he did not lay resting in the grave. Else it should just say he was laid in the grave. There was a gathering to people gone before.

Also see
Matthew 22:32

I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

This was said when those mentioned had left this world but Jesus was saying here (referring to the resurrection) that, if those people were not living elsewhere, God wont introduce Himself with the names of dead men in graves. In other words, they left this world and lived on elsewhere.

Where then will you say Enoch and Elijah were carried to If all the other OT saints that saw death are sleeping in their graves? If you say paradise, were they the only two there? If you say Heaven then remember that Jesus made a way for us to enter there by His blood hence sans the blood no entry to Heaven (where God's Throne is).

Pr0ton:
The idea that females name don't appear in genealogies to explain a case like this doesn't hold water. Five female names (Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba and Mary herself) are mentioned in the genealogy,of Matthew. An all-knowing Holy Spirit (a non-author of confusion) would have simply included Mary's name or state explicitly that the genealogy is of Mary, that is if it intended it to Mary's.

The verse is apparently clear that the genealogy is of Joseph. Giving Joseph Heli as a father is just one of the many errors in the Bible. So your point holds no real point.

Whether it's for seven days, here's how the Passover goes:

12 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, 2 “This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year. 3 Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb for his family, one for each household. 4 If any household is too small for a whole lamb, they must share one with their nearest neighbor, having taken into account the number of people there are. You are to determine the amount of lamb needed in accordance with what each person will eat. 5 The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats. 6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the members of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight. 7 Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. 8 That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. 9 Do not eat the meat raw or boiled in water, but roast it over a fire—with the head, legs and internal organs.10 Do not leave any of it till morning; if some is left till morning, you must burn it.11 This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is theLord’s Passover."

The lamb is to be slaughtered in the evening of Nisan 14, and eaten in the night, before Nisan 15 (the next day)

In Luke 22 Jesus ordered his disciples to prepare the passover and ate with them, which would definitely be Nisan 14. That same night Jesus was arrested, but not cruxified. It was until the next day, Nisan 15, that he was cruxified Luke 22:66

In John 18:28, "28 Then the Jewish leaders took Jesus from Caiaphas to the palace of the Roman governor. By now it was early morning, and to avoid ceremonial uncleanness they did not enter the palace, because they wanted to be able to eat the Passover.", it was the day the Passover was about to be eaten. But before that morning, John 18:3 So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons., Jesus had been arrested the night prior to the morning. And in John 19:14 It was the day of Preparation of the Passover; it was about noon [Close to evening, when the Passover was to be eaten] Jesus was cruxified (not arrested in Luke's account) - contradiction.

‘Do not be afraid; I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples, “He has been raised from the dead, and indeed he is going ahead of you to Galilee;there you will see him.” This is my message for you. [Matthew 28:5b-7, NRSV]

“Suddenly Jesus met them and said, ‘Greetings!’ And they came to him, took hold of his feet, and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.’" [Matthew 28:9-10, NRSV]

The deal between Jesus and his disciples was for them to meet in Galilee. That happened in Matthew:

“Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. When they saw him, they worshipped him; but some doubted.” [Matthew 28:16-17, NRSV]

But it was at a different location in Luke

That same hour they got up and returned to Jerusalem; and they found the eleven and their companions gathered together. They were saying, ‘The Lord has risen indeed, and he has appeared to Simon!’ …While they were talking about this, Jesus himself stood among themand said to them, ‘Peace be with you.’ They were startled and terrified, and thought that they were seeing a ghost.’ [Lk 24:33-34, 36-37, NRSV]

Now this isn't the question about the number of times Jesus appeared to his disciples, but the location at which he appeared to them in accordance to his words in Matt 28:9-10

You've made no point here. Both sermons have parallels, but at different location. Commencing on another paragraph has nothing to do with information being passed.

I'm particularly interested in the timeline of Jesus's birth. Was it during the days of Herod, or while Quinirius was governor over Syria? in Matthew and Luke respective.

I would also love to see how you deal with Matthew 10:10 and Mark 6:8.

I am yet to get any horus advocates (who bring up this lie on various threads) to answer these questions.

And why didnt somebody come out to make this known all along more than two milleniums?

Interestingly, on the day of Pentecost, there were Babylonians, Egyptians etc there who heard the disciples speaking in tongues and also listened to Peter's message, why didnt they immediately refute him if what he preached was another version of horus/tammuz they were familiar with? Afterall, the multitude from this nations outnumbered the disciples (just 120 then) upwards of 25 to 1, hence there was no issue of being suppressed or attacked should they have spoken up !

Acts 2:8-11
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
Christianity EtcRe: Its Obvious That Muhammad Exist In Bible by Scholar8200(m): 2:38pm On Jun 13, 2015
ZoranderGraeme:
I think the verse you're talking about speaks of how jesus said Moses spoke about him. Maybe he did, but some of these prophecies can only be attributed to Muhammad, I will give you a few examples below, now you ask why muslims don't to accept the bible but point to parts that we rightfully say speaks of Muhammad, that's because, read:

The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: Whatever the people of the Book [Jews and Christians] tell you, do not verify them, nor falsify them, but say: We believe in Allah and His Apostle. If it is false, do not confirm it, and if it is right, do not falsify it.  (Translation of Sunan Abu-Dawud, Knowledge (Kitab Al-Ilm), Book 25, Number 3637)"

Whatever in the bible agrees with the principles and teachings of Muhammad, that's what is right.

Now about these prophecies, how can you tell me this speaks of Jesus and not Muhammad?

He said,

“The Lord came from Sinai and dawned from Seir upon us;

he shone forth from Mount Paran; he came from the ten thousand of holy ones, with flaming fire at his right hand."
—Deuteronomy 33:2
Samau'al al-Maghribi referred to this verse also in his book as a prophecy of Muhammad. He said that Mount Sinai refers to Moses, Mount Seir "the Mount of Esau" refers to Jesus, and Mount Paran "the Mount of Ishmael" refers to Muhammad.

some contemporary Muslim scholars have also pointed to the similarity between Deuteronomy 33:2 and Qur'an 95:1-3 where "the Fig and the Olive" refers to Jesus, "Mount Sinai" refers to Moses, and "Mecca" refers to Muhammad.
This was not a prophecy! This was Moses recounting his encounter when he went to receive the law in Exodus hence it is written in the past tense.
Exodus 19:18
18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

Exodus 24:12
12 And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.

Or this?

"Behold! My Servant, whom I uphold; My Elect One, in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. 2 He shall not cry out, nor raise His voice, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench. In truth He shall bring forth justice. 4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till He has established justice in the earth; and the islands shall wait for His law."

—Isaiah 42:1
This refers to Jesus Christ. Vs 1-3 pertain to His first coming, Vs 4-5 to His Reign during the millenium:
Now let's break it down:
1. "I have put My Spirit upon Him
Jesus said
Luke 4:18

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

John 3:34
34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

2) Vs 2-3 was clearly fulfilled as attested to by Matthew 12:15-20

15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

16 And charged them that they should not make him known:

17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.

20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

Sing unto the Lord a new song, and His praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the islands, and the inhabitants thereof! 11 Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. 12 Let them give glory to the Lord, and declare His praise in the islands. 13 The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man; He shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: He shall cry, yea, roar; He shall prevail against His enemies.

—Isaiah 42:10
The mention of Mount Sela (Arabic: جبل سلع, Hebrew: הר סלע) "the mountain of Medina" and the mention of Kedar "the forefather of Muhammad", in verse 11, is proof that this verse was indeed speaking of Muhammad.

Does Muhammad not fit the bill?

"He shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: He shall cry, yea, roar; He shall prevail against His enemies."
This continues to describe the events that will precede the Millenial reign as shown in Revelations 19:11-21. The pronoun, 'He' is referring to He Whom God as highly exalted as Lord, as the context/verse shows.

No! Horus precedes christ. And the worship of horus was engineered by prostituting the prophesy of the anti christ. Like Muhammad, says, every nation was warned about the anti christ. That explains why you find it in multiple mythology.
The anti christ is to come after Christ not before.
Christianity EtcJesus Christ Exposes The Lie Of Horus! by Scholar8200(op):
The horus hocus pocus was an update to an extant lie; an act that must have occured early in the CE period just like the discovered 'gospel' that claimed Jesus was married!(Indeed, the devil is the author of confusion!) Horus/Osiris/Semiramis/Isis etc all started at Babel after the flood at a time when the world was of one language and were familiar with God's declaration in Genesis 3:15.

1. The era of horus was at a time when the world was very young, the world was of one language hence nothing like different nations; no Roman empire nor crucifixion as means of punishing criminals; how then was he crucified? At whose behest was he crucified? which soldiers did the crucifixion?

2. Baptism in the river was unknown till John the baptist then who baptized horus? And why did the practice stop afterwards? what was the purpose of the baptism at horus' time? why are the egyptians not doing same today?

3.who were the multitudes healed? Of what sickness and disease? horus lived at a time the earth was sparsely populated!

4. What prophecies preceded horus and what was the purpose of his 'death' and 'resurrection'?

5. Where did he go after 'resurrection'?

6.How on earth did they trace the 25th of December at a time after the flood? (Nimrod, father of Tammuz/horus was killed by one of Noah's sons
around 2500BC)

7. Who were his 12 'disciples'?At least we know the names of the ones with Jesus! And what roles did they play after his 'death' and resurrection?

8.What was the purpose of his coming?

9. Which 3 kings came from the east (which nation was that?) after the flood that worshipped horus!? at a time when nations and human government were still trying to find their feet!

10 what did he teach who? and in what language? Where are the details of his teachings? what prophecies did he give?( I guess he also must have quoted from the OT like Jesus did?!) If no, what did he quote from?

11. Did he also have a long list of genealogy?! If yes who and who were involved?

12 The gospel and all these details are in circulation; why are all these concerning horus hidden?

13 Who betrayed horus to be crucified? Did he also collect 30 pieces of silver at a time when money was not in use?

These are questions that reveal the lie of the claim! Just as the mother of horus, Semiramis (obviously inspired by the father of lies) prostituted the prophecy given to Adam and Eve after the fall, after Nimrod died, the same personality apparently did not lack those who helped incorporate these facts in the Gospel (when Genesis 3:15 actually was fulfilled) into their belief.

And why are the Egyptians not coming out to confront the Church?
Or Why do we have Christians among indigenous Egyptians? They should be the first to cry out if these things were so!!!

The fact that you deny the existence of these gods especially horus is just proof of how blind you arem No doubt these gods existed, no doubt these gods were worshipped and no doubt, they share similarities with jesus christ, atleast when you take away son of god, it may be a tad bit different but the hadith I quoted in that post to me explains everything. It explains why these gods will share similarities to the jesus christ you worship.
Read that post very well. horus son of Nimrod is worshipped today together with his mum, Semiramis no doubt. but the claims to similarities with Christ is a recent update. Why? Even the worship of horus was engineered by semiramis prostituting a prophecy of Christ (given by the Father in Genesis 3:15 after the fall) after Nimrod died!

Now in john 14:15, our lord Jesus rightly said "if ye love me, keep my commandments". And answeres a certain man again in mathew 22:37-39 saying "37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Now bro, if a muslem keep to these commandment, won't he/she make heaven?
No one can keep this commandments but by the Power of the Holy Spirit after the new birth!

John 3:5
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Romans 5:5
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Understand that all our self made righteousness without the enabling of the Holy Spirit (through faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us) are filthy rags with which no flesh will ever glory before God.

Ignorance again? The Church was called Catholic in Asia Minor by St Ignatus of Antioch and these Catholic Churches included Rome, Antioch, Smyrna, Jerusalem, Alexandria etc. These Churches taught the same faith and the Pope of Rome was called the coryphaeus. Here is what Ignatius of Antioch says before 107AD:

See that you all follow the bishop, even as Jesus Christ does the Father, and the presbytery as you would the apostles; and reverence the deacons, as being the institution of God. Let no man do anything connected with the Church without the bishop. Let that be deemed a proper Eucharist, which is administered either by the bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude of the people also be; even as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church. —Letter to the Smyrnaeans, Ch 8

Here is St Ignatius of Antioch praising the Church of Rome:

Ignorance You have envied no one; but others you have taught. I desire only that what you have enjoined in your instruction may remain in force. —Letter to the Romans, Ch 3
The Author and Finisher of our faith, the Lord Jesus Christ, did not in anyway allude to this! That is what matters.
Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church (not Ignatius or Coryphaeus or Luther). Besides, the distinct message was to the leaders of each church( catholic hierarchy suggests that Jesus should've given these messages to whoever the pope was, but no), the only Recurring Name that ran through all the messages is the Spirit (the One Sent in Christ's Name!)

The Fragrance Of Christ
By James A. Stewart

When I was saved, during a mighty movement of the Spirit of God in Glasgow, Scotland, a young lady was also saved. Her name was Helen Ewan. She was just a slip of a girl, but at the very threshold of her new life in Christ, she crowned Him as absolute Lord, and was filled with the Spirit – a definite experience.

The rivers of living water simply flowed from that young girl’s life (John 7:37-39). When she died at the age of 22, all Scotland wept. I know hundreds of missionaries all over the world wept and mourned for her.

She had mastered the Russian language and was expecting to labor for God in Europe. She had no outstanding personality; she never wrote a book, nor composed a hymn; she was not a preacher, and never traveled more than 200 miles from her home. But when she died, people wrote about her life story. Although she died so early in life, she had led a great multitude to Jesus Christ.

She arose early each morning about 5 o’clock to study God’s Word, to commune, and to pray. She prayed for hundreds of missionaries. Her mother showed me her diary – one of her diaries – and there were at least 300 different missionaries for whom she was praying. It showed how God had burdened that young heart with a ministry of prayer. She had the date when she started to pray for a request and then the date when God answered her petition. She had a dynamic prayer life that moved God and moved man.

I was talking one day with two university professors in London City. We were talking about dynamic Christianity, when one of them suddenly said, "Brother Stewart, I want to tell you a story." And he told me that in Glasgow University there was a remarkable young lady, who, wherever she went on that campus, left a fragrance of Christ behind her.

For example, if the students were telling dirty stories, someone would say, "Shhh! – Helen is coming – quiet." And then she passed by and unconsciously left the power behind her. The university professor told me how in their prayer meetings they could always tell when this young lady entered the room. She did not even need to take part in the prayers. The moment she entered the room the whole of the meeting was revolutionized by the mighty power of God.

"And," said that professor, "she led many of those students to Jesus Christ." She was the greatest power for God that he ever knew in his life.

I said, "Sir, that could only be one person. That was Helen Ewan." He said that was the name of the young lady.

I have been out on the streets of Glasgow at midnight, in the awful cold winter night, giving out my tracts and doing personal soul winning, and as I have been going home, I have seen Helen Ewan with her arms around a poor, drunken harlot, and telling her of Jesus and His love.

Friends, she led a great multitude to Jesus Christ. And when I went many years later to the place of her burial, one of the grave diggers said, "Preacher, I’ll never forget when that young lady was buried here. When I was burying that body, I felt the presence of God all over this place."

One night we were all having a special evening together, young people rejoicing in the Lord, and having a good time, when my wife said, "Is that Helen Ewan’s photograph on the mantelpiece?"

Suddenly there was a dead silence, and she said, "Jim, have I said anything wrong?" All the laughing ceased, and one by one, without anybody saying a word, we dropped down on our knees and began to pray. Think of it, years after she had gone home to Heaven, her name was so powerful. Oh, friends, I believe that this spiritual life is for every child of God!

"Be filled with the Spirit" (Eph. 5:18).

The Church in Ephesus were the addressee of the Epistle to the Ephesians over which Timothy had a stint as leader.

The Church in Laodicea were asked to read the Epistle to the Colossians by Paul in chapter 4

For some of these places, the names have changed.

Just like Spain used to be Tarshish, Iraq and environs used to be Babylon etc

They were literal places. Like a NL user says, "google is your friend"

i believe there are still christians there (Turkey). Also, I doubt if it was ever a christian country; that the churches were located therein does not make it a christian country. In any case the messages to those churches is still applicable to the church today.

Stop lying against me. Don't you get tired of toeing Satan's line of telling lies? I never told you I have any extrapolated intent. I only have the intent of The Angel of the Lord which is the intent of God which simply said: Matt 2:13 When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “[b]take the child and his mother [/b]and escape to Egypt.

You said Mary is not the child's mother.

Who should I believe between you and God?
Lying? Is it not your intent to infer a yes to mean - then He is the mother of God?

To clarify, see Luke 2:48
48 And when they [Joseph and Mary] saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, Child, why have You treated us like this? Here Your father and I have been anxiously looking for You [distressed and tormented].

The extent of Joseph's fatherhood is also the extent of Mary's motherhood! No more, no less.

Also, tell us if the Holy Spirit is still inspiring men to write scriptures. If yes, give us an example. If no, tell us where the Bible tells you that the Holy Spirit would stop inspiring men to write scripture. Or are you following the Catholic tradition that closed the Canon of Scripture?
John16:12
12 I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them or to take them upon you or to grasp them now.

John 14:26
26 But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

John 15:27 shows that the NT books (most of which recorded the words of the apostles on the faith and the life of Christ) was all that the Lord had in mind. No one after the early church can lay claim to the qualification as laid down by Christ.

John 15:27

27 But you also will testify and be My witnesses, because you have been with Me from the beginning.

Does it mean believers today have no part in the baptism with the Spirit? No! Peter said, on the day of pentecost
Acts 2:39
39 For the promise [of the Holy Spirit] is to and for you and your children, and to and for all that are far away, [even] to and for as many as the Lord our God invites and bids to come to Himself.

Ephesians 2:20

You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone.

The Holy Spirit still inspires men today not to write new scriptures that contradict the words and teaching of Christ and His first set of apostles, but (as the Epistles reveal).

It is no coincidence that Jude and Revelations the last books in the Bible states

Jude 3
3 Beloved, my whole concern was to write to you in regard to our common salvation. [But] I found it necessary and was impelled to write you and urgently appeal to and exhort [you] to contend for the faith which was once for all [a]handed down to the saints [the faith which is that sum of Christian belief which was delivered [b]verbally to the holy people of God]

Revelations 22:18,19

18 I [personally solemnly] warn everyone who listens to the statements of the prophecy [the [e]predictions and the consolations and admonitions pertaining to them] in this book: If anyone shall add anything to them, God will add and lay upon him the plagues (the afflictions and the calamities) that are recorded and described in this book.
19 And if anyone cancels or takes away from the statements of the book of this prophecy [these [f]predictions relating to Christ’s kingdom and its speedy triumph, together with the consolations and admonitions or warnings pertaining to them], God will cancel and take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the city of holiness (purity and hallowedness), which are described and promised in this book.

The council at Jerusalem could not take a decision sans the approval of the same Inspirer - the Holy Spirit
Acts 15:28
28 For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to lay upon you any greater burden than these indispensable requirements

Notice the order, the Holy Spirit and us (the apostles with no particular one being exalted as the singular representative of Christ). And the decision taken was in accordance with that which was revealed in the OT and in the time of Christ!

Summarily, a lot of books can be written under the Spirit's inspiration about the contents of the Bible but that does not qualify them as part of scripture. Why? Because God is not the author of confusion.

I simply answered the intent of your question. (the motherhood you have in mind is the extrapolated one and I'm not going along those lines) Quite similar to the pharisees asking Jesus should we pay tributes, yes or no? or should we stone the adulteress, yes or no?
Christianity EtcRe: Is Mary The Mother Of God? by Scholar8200(m):

No. Now can you answer the question you have been dodging?

From the above epistle, are you saying that the Jesus who lived in the womb of Mary, who walked the streets of Israel, who was crucified at Calvary, was a mere man, not God?
Jesus Christ is the Son of God;He is The Word Who is God. But Mary is not His mother (His divinity has nothing to do with her)! If you say Mary is His mother then, by the same token, Joseph is His father! That which was formed in her was by the power of the Holy Spirit. The betrothed couple (marriage makes two one) were only used as a means of bringing in the Son according to God's purpose. Yes the angel called her 'mother of the child' and she (Mary) called Joseph, 'thy father' Luke 2:48 but both knew they were just used of God to bring in He Who the angel said will be called "The Son of The Highest"

I am sure if you would ask Jesus this question, His answer will be along these lines

Matthew 22:42-45

42 Saying, What do you think of the Christ? Whose Son is He? They said to Him, The Son of David.
43 He said to them, How is it then that David, under the influence of the [Holy] Spirit, calls Him Lord, saying,
44 The Lord said to My Lord, Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet?
45 If then David thus calls Him Lord, how is He his Son?

Bear in mind that this applies to Joseph and Mary too, the descendants of David!

Besides, my post concerning Luther did not exalt him as a hero; just mentioned him as one (out of others) who risked their lives to bring to the open and make public that which the Roman Catholic Church wanted to have monopoly over! It does not therefore mean that everything he says will/should be accepted lock, stock and barrel! Like the Bereans, we cross-check his teachings with the Word and if there is any contradiction, the Word supersedes Luther's or any other person's teaching!

Please show us where the Bible says that those books are not inspired. Or are you following the personal tradition of Martin Luther and his fellow heretics?
All scripture is given by inspiration of God. There's no quote from the Apocrypha. The real custodians of the covenants and the OT (Jews) recognised these inter-testament period books as just literary works.
Remember, you said:

You are right. All Scripture is given by Inspiration of God hence should be our final authority in issues concerning Its contents.
Perfect!

When Martin Luther said the Catholic Church possessed the world of God, was it True or False?
Why quote Luther here? You just called him a heretic! Any way refer to my reply to a post related to your question.
Also you dodged this my question below: please answer
