GOD knew the antichrist, which is the pope, would try to tamper with His Law. Check Daniel 7 and 2 Thess 2:3. Christ also reaffirmed the sacredness of the Law in Luke 16:17 to remove any doubt concerning the sanctity of the Law.

It means you are wrong in your claims! Otherwise why the deafening silence by Jesus and the Apostles on sabbath if it is essential for salvation? Moreso since they knew of the antics of antichrist? Afterall Jesus warned us in Matthew 24 Luke 21 etc why did He omit the Sabbath?

What idea comes to your mind when you hear that word? Did Cyrus obey Isaiah's prophecy concerning him or did he fulfil it?

In 2 Thess 2:3, we see Paul prophesying about the antichrist, the pope, (which is the man of sin, the son of perdition) who would cause many to fall away and oppose and exalt himself above anything that is called GOD. Read about all the papacy did during the dark ages. So, indeed, GOD knew skeptics and those who hate His law would arise. But He also sufficiently warned us that His Law cannot be tampered with.

I know! However if you claim the issue of sabbath was what the antichrist will change, then why was it not stressed and emphasized by Jesus and the Apostles? This refutes the excuse that there was silence because the sabbath issue had not arise!
Daniel spoke about the antichrist opposing daily sacrifice but said nothing about sabbath!

Answered by implying that the Bible needs be updated to stress that which was not properly emphasized? That they could predict the antichrist but were somehow ignorant of his activities (the only one you appear to exalt) is that your answer?

When Christ was on earth, and up until the time the epistles were written, this ruckus surrounding the Sabbath of GOD was never there. I mean, nobody ever disputed the Sanctity of the Sabbath. They knew they had to keep it because GOD commanded it. Jesus kept the Sabbath of GOD. Paul and all the apostles kept the Sabbath of GOD. All the Early Christians kept the Sabbath of GOD.

Meaning the Spirit that isnpired the scriptures did not know that these things will come up? When there are prophesies and commandments spanning milleniums?

Paul wrote that by the Inspiration of the Spirit! Read his epistles to get your answer

Why then the deafening silence on sabbath keeping in all the Epistles of the Apostles when describing the new life in Christ? And was Christ right when He declared the priests blameless even though they profaned the sabbath?

I have given my answer to this question already. Jesus FULFILLED the Law. That's where the Bible stands and that is where I stand.

Rev. 12:17 "...with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of GOD, and have the testimoney of Jesus Christ"

Rev. 14:12 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of GOD, and the faith of Jesus."

Rev. 22:14 "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life..."

And John has a lot to say about the commandment here:

1.1 John 2:7-10
Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. 8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. 9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. 10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.


2.1 John 3:22-24
And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment


3. Jesus made it clear when He said:

Matthew 7:24

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

None of the above not even the Sermon on the Mount charged any with the need to Keep the sabbath! Rather the Greatest commandment and the Divine Nature of holiness and Love in various applications in the situations of life is all you find!

Now what Law is the summary or essence of the 10 commandments? LOVE.

Now would the 10 commandments be relevant in Heaven? NO

But the Essence which is also the Divine NAture and the greatest commandment Love abides forever, (there abideth faith, hope and charity and the greatest of these is Charity)

For the umpteenth time, He fulfilled the Law and all its righteous demands! And the law is fulfilled in all that believe on Him and walk in the Spirit!


Now read this very slowly and meditatively and with an objective mind:

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise,...
9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

He fulfilled it! That's the language the Bible used, i would stick with that!

Fulfil includes but is not limited to obedience else what special thing did Jesus do that Elizabeth, Zechariah, Rich young ruler etc did not do? They all obeyed the law!

P. S.: the law brought them to Christ being the schoolmaster that it is!

Give me a bible verse to situate this law.

Romans 13:8-10 in fact Paul Inspired by the Spirit said concerning love (being the fruit of the Spirit) that against such there is no law!

Isaiah 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

Just as you (or your bro) established that New moon is part of the ceremonial law that is done away with and we dont observe same today; realise that the audience here were Israelites and the mention of new moon and sabbath is used to measure time! Just as we wont be celebrating New Moon in Heaven (REMEMBER THERE IS NEITHER SUN AND MOON THERE), also we wont be observing sabbath there too!

Then the only name given among men whereby we could be enslaved was Adam and the devil exploited it to the fullest!

It is same as Matthew 5:18 and was spoken by He Who came the law to fulfil ( not obey mind you).

The word used -fulfil- is suggestive! When a prophesy is fulfilled it is said to have come to pass.

You are yet to define the word "eternal" used to qualify the Law of GOD in Psalm 119:160. If the Bible says the Law of GOD is eternal, please what does it mean?

The Greatest of the Laws describes God's Essence, Nature and Person and it underlies every other laws. God remains the same for all eternity, so does His Nature!

I hope you are not implying that in Heaven we will still be hanging to the 10 commandment eg thou shalt not commit adultery etc when Jesus plainly said there will be no marriages in Heaven!

What law is being discussed here?

The same law whose purpose was to bring us to Christ that we might be justified by Him not it(law). That's the purpose of the law according to Galatians 3:24,25. (Mind you, this was written by a Hebrew of Hebrews)
