Fraih:Yeah, most job coach are EO and above, a friend working in dwp told me that they refused job coach visa sponsorship |
Maureen4sure:Hi, Sincerely I don’t know much about prison jobs, most important is passing the assessment, should read and understand on the job description most important where they mention what criteria will be used for the selection process for the interview, can use gpt plus to given you some sample interview questions based on the job description/advert. (Paste job advert in gpt plus). |
bigtt76:From your profile under feedback |
Maureen4sure:Hmn, same thing happened to me, the care home I worked for refused me visa 2 months to the expiration of my visa, psw wasn’t very sure then due coursework that was resubmitted(committed to working for the care home because we aren’t sure of the psw), permission to apply for psw was approved by the school 2 weeks to visa expiration, went to apply for visa immediately, was a long story. Happy that it did not workout with the care home, then got a job with a private firm 2nd month after psw came through. I pray your disappointment becomes a blessing for you guys also soon. |
Goke7:Your arguments are valid. Think applicants are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, which means that while the residency requirement is a significant factor, it is not the only consideration |
hayesconcept:Congratulations, Lucky you that your application got into reserve. Your application was okay and your interview was good aswell. You might be called up anytime. Just keep applying. Wish you best of luck. A friend was on reserve list for 4 months and got called after. (EO role), this is slow because lots people still stays on EO role. Three others got reserve list and were called after within a week. (AO role), this is fast because lots of people leave AO. Lots of other reason why people are out on reserv list which I can’t list all. Yeah for DWP, if you get 30 you should get the job straight away I think |
lastclaire4:EO and above and I don’t think DWP offer sponsorship for the JOB COACH role. A friend got sponsorship at AO role with DWP tho she was moving from student visa directly to work visa. Someone else wasn’t given for the AO because the person is moving from a work visa. Seems hmrc could sponsor EO (will not sponsor AO), same as DWP. Best bet is to start working with them with other visa say like graduate visa, the chances of getting visa will be high. For instance, on norms Ministry of defense don’t sponsor visa if the job is not on shortage occupation list, but someone got the sponsorship because the person has been working with them while on graduate visa. |
Poanan:Well, one thing I always tell people to is look out for the nationality requirement and the SC clearance stuff If less than 3 years to avoid wasting time and energy on the application. If not clear, a contact mail is always at the bottom page of the advert. |
Lexusgs430:lol, I no understand you Dey keep this kind message for future reference ni?? Since 2021 faa lol 😂 |
Adeshizzy:Yeah, it’s possible if applying to jobs that can sponsor. To me the easiest would probably be applying to jobs on the Civil service website(target EO, HEO, SEO roles) which hopefully they should be able to sponsor or NHS. But the former is more fair and transparent in their recruitment process based on my own opinion anyway and experience. A close friend would probably be switching soon, Would let you know. Just make sure you remove information like location from your cv. Say for instance You once worked as a Customer service representative in Zenith Bank in Lagos You don’t need to put Zenith Bank, lagos, Nigeria. Just remove those location. Customer Service Representative- Zenith Bank. Don’t put location., etc. Same with your Uk jobs, you don’t need to put location as well. Make sure you include that your care experience in your cv, it doesn’t matter. Wish you good luck |
Chreze:Same as me, I wish I had purchased this product a year earlier, especially given its energy efficiency. Since buying it, my kitchen's smoke alarm, which used to be triggered when I cooked, hasn't gone off once due to the air being purified by the machine, did not even need to open the windows. A storage area in my apartment that had an unpleasant odor is now odor-free. The mold situation in my house was so severe that it turned the ceiling black. Relying on sprays wasn't effective, and using them even made us all ill including the baby due to the chlorine content, causing symptoms including catarrh. I believe the inclusion of air purifiers in the device contributes to its higher price, but it's worth it. Gone are the unpleasant smells in the house, and even my towels smell fresh after it dried up. |
igbsam:Yes, it does, even the 12 liters type should do. My apartment consistently faced issues with high humidity, leading to a cold environment, mold growth, condensation on windows, and even damage to lots of my furnitures and wallpapers last year. However, since I started using this electric dehumidifier, I've been collecting between 3.5 to 4.5 liters of water daily. It made a significant difference, all the spaces, including all bedrooms and bathroom are now very dry I tried various dehumidifying sprays before, but they weren't effective. Addressing the core issue of excessive moisture has proven beneficial. Plus, I now spend less on heating as the heater is not battling with cold moisture by trying to heat up the cold moistured air first, making the heating more efficient. |
Greathand01:Happy to hear this. Congratulations, |
Finally got a permanent solution to mold in my house. Bought a Meaco Arete Dehumidifier 20l and the rest is story. Reason for choosing this is because it does not only dehumidify but also purify the air and very low electricity consumption. Yeah, dry clothes as well. If you’ve got mold issue try get this product aswell. |
hustla:“have worked in your role for at least 6 months, for an average of at least 16 hours a week” Average of 16 hrs weekly. So, for example, you could work 10 hrs x 4weeks = 40 20hrs x 6weeks = 120 Total = 160hrs/10week That’s an average of 16 hrs per week at a span of 10 weeks. |
ehizario2012: marylandcakes:Lol, being in the office kind of puts me on edge😂🤣😂 I find my focus isn’t quite there when I'm in that environment. I'm naturally more productive in the early hours, and I prefer to dive straight into work upon waking up. The whole routine of waking, dressing, cooking, and commuting (not to mention the worry of running late) can really scatter my focus for the entire day. Working from home allows me to accomplish more, plus I don’t have that unease that comes with someone wandering around, potentially peeping at my work. Although, I know these feelings and preferences are personal to me |
Fraih:Depends on your situation, types of job, department, job grade etc. But most student would likely to be eligible. You can check my previous posts |
AntiMCU:No, click on show filter, then you will see job grade. |
Meanwhile, guys don't miss out on the abundant opportunities over at the Civil Service job website. There are a lots of roles available, and some listings are looking to fill a substantial number of positions I'm talking 80, 100, 250, and even 600 spots for some roles. Don't forget, the more the number of people needed to fill the role, the better your chances are of landing a position And, for students, while you're studying, consider applying aswell, Many full-time jobs listed also accommodate part-time work, perfect for fitting around your study schedule. I've seen this firsthand in my previous department, where my colleagues from 9ja and India worked part-time while studying. A majority of the full-time roles are flexible, allowing you to fulfill your 20 hours while gaining that needed UK work experience. I believe there might be an option to transition to full-time after your studies (though you might want to double-check that). If you are very desperate for job I would advise you filter the job grade for Administrative Officer role, hopefully with 3-8 applications you could get one or more. |
adekzy:Hmm,, I find your response interesting , particularly your take on the role of prayer in problem-solving. while I agree that practical solutions are paramount, its essential to remember that people find strength, solace and resilience in various ways (prayer being one for many individuals). It’s also quite funny to witness how quickly people draw broad conclusions about others based on limited interaction. The advice provided was multifaceted and included (practical, legal and emotional support), coupled with an element of spiritual encouragement, considering the original poster's apparent distress. Interestingly , correlating a nation's challenges or lack of development with its religious practices is an oversimplified viewpoint, challenges countries face are influenced by numerous factors, not merely spiritual beliefs or practices. Nations including Nigeria navigate through lots of challenges, like (political dynamics, economic variables and many more, that aren’t solely resolved through spiritual or practical means alone. They're tackled by a mix of strategies and approaches which in my opinion Nigeria might lack currently. Practical solutions and spiritual beliefs aren't mutually exclusive and have coexisted for centuries by providing comprehensive support in times of need. Let's aim to be supportive, understanding that there's a spectrum of approaches and beliefs out there, each valuable in its own unique way. |
Hi, Anyone get avios or voucher to sell for Qatar airways ? Want to make a booking. Or anyone know of a promo to apply to reduce my pay a little. |
KOVIC19COVID20:Lol, na vexation make me go bye one. Went to barber shop, used this exact type for me, and I’m the type that don’t bother shape my hair, I just cut it all. I don buy mine, even bought two. Some are even charging 15£ for barbing. |
justwise:Sorry do you mean they are proposing a new change to tier 2 dependent as well? |
bigtt76:Undervalued 😊😊 |
OmichaelO: rayralph:Just to ask to @rayralph input. I’d advice anyone that studied Public health to learn Excel for data analysis at least and know some basic statistics like Descriptive Statistics: (Mean, Median, Mode Range, Interquartile Range), linear regression, Data visualization in excel, pivot table, pivot chart, power query, using sorting and filtering (multi level sorting), conditional formatting don’t bother yourself with macro or vba. Few functions like (if, sum, count if, sumif, index, match, vlookup or xlookup) don’t complicate matter by learning lots of functions just the basics one. (can later learn power bi after having proper understanding of excel, but I believe only excel should suffice for start) but it’s optional. Those should get you started. Start applying for roles related data. Use the word “data” as your search word on NHS website. Data Quality roles or related roles with data Data coordinator, etc Research Analyst Health Policy Analyst Data Analyst Infection Control Officer Can’t work in todays public health without knowing a little bit of excel. Can recommend Chris Dutton, or Kyle pew on Udemy. Don’t complicate things as I said by leaning too much if software just basics should do, make sure you do hands on practices exercises or solutions. |
Viruses:Go any nearest gas station. |
harddrive2012:Lucky you, recorded interview or online face to face, irrespective, dm and let’s go through it together. |
Samopex05:This passage communicates the following information: 1. **Assessment Outcome**: After evaluating the damage to your vehicle, it's been determined that your vehicle is a total loss under category N. Category N is a classification of damage to a vehicle where the vehicle has not suffered any structural damage, but the cost of repair might be more than the vehicle's value. 2. **Vehicle's Value Before the Incident**: Before the incident occurred, the vehicle was worth £1,830.00. 3. **Initial Payment**: Banwell's engineers have advised that an initial payment of £1,409.10 be made. This amount is the pre-incident value minus the salvage value of the vehicle. 4. **Option to Dispose of the Vehicle**: - If you decide to let the engineers dispose of your vehicle, an additional £420.90 will be paid to you once they receive the salvage pack. - If you choose this option, you need to inform them where the vehicle is currently located so they can send Co-Part to pick it up. Co-Part will then contact you within 72 working hours to organize the collection. 5. **Option to Keep the Vehicle**: - If you choose to keep the vehicle, the initial payment of £1,409.10 will be the final amount you receive, and it will settle the claim. You are being asked to decide between these two options and let them know your decision. |
Need advice for a friend. She got a band 3 (mental health support) job from NHS and got another one as Administrative Officer with one government department both of the same salary. Asking which offer a more progression. Don’t consider sponsorship in advice. I don’t also know what to advice, reason for posting here. |
