Judeerons32:My brother, this is a different scenario. Almost 2 million votes were declared in Kano, were all verified by d card reader? The Supreme Court judgement was based on the fact that card readers or electronic voting was not part of our electoral laws. The pertinent question is did Wike win the election or not and did Uzodinma carry 4th or not? |
Judeerons32:Nobody saw the contents of the bullion van, that is why there is call for investigation. Honestly if there is sincere and diligent investigation to determine the content, amount, bank, who authorized the withdrawal and purpose, may not be a difficult thing. |
Op, you have abused virtually everyone that quoted your posts. Shey you no want people to comment? There are lots of mysteries surrounding election results in Nigeria. Evidence shows that many of our leaders past and present even lost elections in their own units, wards, towns, LGAs, or states, talk more of geopolitical zones. |
The military will not take this likely at all. The Lance Cop really shows that he is ready to lay down his life to liberate others. I wish him good luck in this fight. |
News Rumpus in Delta community as traditional ruler flees after sales of community land By Admin - June 18, 2020 https://nationaldailyng.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/966-Babe-320x100.gif By Nosa Eresoyen, Asaba Indigenes of Ewulu Community in Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta State, have been on rampage in the past five weeks over allegations of sales of community land by the traditional ruler, Obi Godwin Onyeweuwa, who, thereafter, flee the community amidst wide protests. The people of Ewulu had on Tuesday continued their protest over the fleeing Obi who they said left the community unannounced since June 2, 2020, as the protests involving women and youths intensified. The indigenes were agitating that their farmlands of over four square kilometres were allegedly sold by the Obi of Ewulu and his chiefs to non-indigenes unknown to families who own the lands, as well as the sons and daughters of the community. The lands were said to be allegedly sold at about N40 million in two separate deals. One of the deals was, however, said to involve an indigene of Ewulu who resides overseas. Women in Ewulu community were said to have gone to their farms only to meet caterpillar bulldozing their farms, destroying their cassava plantation and other crops. This precipitated urgent inquiry that led to the discovery that the king and the chiefs allegedly sold the land to strangers. The women had gone on protest to the palace of the Obi of Ewulu who at the early stage confronted the women, chasing them from the palace, according to the indigenes. A woman was said to have been injured in that fracas. Thereafter, the youths joined the mass action in the community, demanding the Obi to explain the alleged sales of community lands, including people’s farms. The chiefs were said to have earlier flee the community, while the Obi later fled as the protests continued to garner more momentum daily. However, there were some other indigenes who said that the land was not sold but was rather encroached by neighbouring community in Ogwashi-Uku claiming ownership of the land. Those making the claim are yet to prove that the land was not sold but accusing the protesters of instigating violence in the community. Some Ewulu Community residents who spoke to our Correspondent on condition of anonymity described the fleeing king as pathetic and a tyrant; saying that the traditional ruler, Obi Godwin Onyeweuwa, has allegedly been involved in several protracted land disputes that had been unsettling the community and the neighbours. A group of Concerned residents in Ewulu Community had in a petition signed by the group’s Director of Publicity, Moses Ndubusi, a copy made available to our Correspondent, and addressed to the Special Adviser to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Peace and Conflict Resolution, Mr. Edwin Uzor, accused the controversial king of despotism and requested that the Monarch, Obi Onyeweuwa, steps down. The group subsequently demanded that a body of Chiefs and Elders of the community be constituted to take responsibility of the administration of Ewulu in the interim, to be headed by the traditional prime minister. The group further demanded the setting up of Interim National Executive Council of Ewulu Progressive Union (EPU) which should be given the mandate to conduct a general election within three months, in addition to the commencement of the installation of Okpala Ewulu, that’s the traditional coronation of the eldest man in the community. The Petitioners had alleged the followings as the sins against the Monarch: indiscriminate and reckless sale of Ewulu Community and Family lands without due process, mismanagement of finances, insulting elders in the community, among others. They had declared: “It’s a fact that almost 90 per cent of Ewulu sons and daughters both home and abroad want Obi Onyeweuwa to step aside since he has willingly and freely done so by his actions.” Meanwhile, several indigenes have been asking: “assuming that the lands are not sold as some are claiming, why should the Obi abscond from the throne and flee the community, at a time that strangers encroach on the lands of the community. “Why are the chiefs also on the run, abandoning the community they have the traditional mandate to defend?” But when Contacted on telephone, the traditional ruler, Obi Onyeweuwa, said he did not abdicate the throne as there was a court verdict to that effect, even as he refuted other allegations of despotism as false and baseless. He argued: “how can I abdicate the throne, who will exile a King. Can someone just wake up and dethrone the Obi; which law court gave the verdict?” The indigenes of Ewulu community are bent on recovering their lands from the scavengers while demanding for a new Obi of Ewulu. The youths have vehemently sustained the protest, especially, with burnfires at Ogbe Achi, the Obi’s lineage, declaring an end to the reign of the fleeing Obi. Meanwhile, investigations continue. |
Efforts still on new oil wells. Where them go sell am? When about 50 cargoes is yet to be sold bc of the glut caused by corona virus |
Ishilove:what about ban on interstate movement? |
Stakeholders:stake, this is not about Buhari rescuing Obaseki. But the fact that he is no longer relevant in Nigeria any longer. His opinions are quite useless, imagine Obj giving support to an incumbent gov and party chairman will go against his wish, you know what will happen na. Also see small boy 'Tunde' and his wife de fight over Aso rock supremacy, watin baba talk? Nothing of course, we don't know who is ruling this country any longer. Hmm |
techmo:Ta Comot der which Nigerian senate confirm personal aid. On the other hand the Buhari of these days is not like the one we used to know before. Even small boys are in charge of Aso rock, na wa o. |
Except by rigging as usual |
NGpatriot:ignorance is a bitch |
Dem neva chi-chomtin. What goes around comes around. |
vedaxcool:what do you need the locations for at this point in time. I think it's no longer relevant as most of the schools have already been converted to other uses by various state governments in a bid to smear it's proponent. The aim of establishing the schools was completely wished away with politics. |
Supermugu:Is everyone from d south, Igbo and Biafran? Anyway you are super mugu indeed. |
This argument never still end? If na face to face fight for don start since. |
[quote author=Mystiquefia post=89693497]In politics from the military regime to date urhobos have produced notable names like ogbemudia(midwest governor) general patrick aziza Olusoji Fasuba- Sprinter In Entertainment we have ALIBABA- king of comedy Richard Mofe Damijo Please check your records very well are these people Urhobos? |
This guy may sound bigotry in his approach, but alot of his theories keep adding up. d mystery that shrouds the presence of d Chinese doctors in Nigeria is a major concern. Aso rock is so cold after d demise of Kyari. |
The police also experienced the same, but was later rectified. Though some actually had to forego some arrears and moved on. So be patient but press for it or nothing |
babasolution:Bros you sound so pained, have you had an encounter with this man before? Even though his write up are just personal encounter, he is only giving us an antecedent of the man that is expected to work so closely with the Nigeria president. If the things he said about prof Gambari are true, then we have another Kyari in Aso rock again. |
The more you look the less you see in Nigeria. Gambari's appointment, Aso rock will become active again (maybe) |
Simplyleo:You got it wrong bro, Buhari painted the picture that he was very poor and broke before d 2015 election. He made us believe he could no longer pay his house rent in Abuja and gov Almakura of Nasarawa (CPC) gov then came to his rescue. He made d masses buy APC nomination form and many more. But after he was elected a lot of Nigerians realized he faked us into power. PMB was not just a petroleum minister, he was one time military gov and chairman of PTF, hence he is stupendously rich. |
Kanu has raised a lot of issues that has remained untreated. Whether he is dead or not is inconsequential, what matters most is that his allegations should be proven wrong. Remember every world leader is constantly addressing their subjects this period of convid 19. Where is our president, we can't even access him. Make una fear God o. |
[quote author=backtalkG post=89334587]NCDC OFFICIALS FLEE KOGI STATE TO AVOID BEING TESTED FOR COVID-19 It was drama today at the Kogi State Government House as officials of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control sent to ascertain the COVID-19 status of the state fled to avoid being subjected to COVID-19 test. It would be recalled that Kogi is one of the two states that is yet to record a single COVID-19 case in the Federation. The officials of the NCDC said they were sent to the State to assist the state in responding to the challenges posed by the pandemic. On receiving them, the State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello thanked the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari and the Presidential Task Force for rising to the occasion. He said the world must unite to defeat the virus. The Governor reeled out the measures adopted by the State to flatten the curve on the spread of the virus in the State. He said the country must move out of the pandemic and provide structures for economic recovery. He also disclosed that he has decided to give full insurance to frontline health workers and also increase their hazard allowance from 30, 000 naira to 50,000 naira daily to further encourage them to put in their best. Can this be true? 50000 Naira daily to health workers in this country? |
henrybomb:Ok thanks |
Lawkz:Are you one of such people? |

Bring Buhari back to media chat let's used it to assess them. Both of them failed in many areas, maybe answering questions from Nigerians and journalists could help us do a better assessment |
JUST IN. *From Sanusi Lamido Sanusi Fb Wall* This is what I have been saying. Fine, it is wise for the government to tell people to stay at home as it is the best move to curb the spread of the virus, but the question the government should have asked themselves is "how many Nigerians have enough resources to feed themselves for one week without working?". It is a very big question. A larger percentage of Nigerians rely on the income they make today to feed tomorrow. You have asked these people to abandon their businesses and stay at home for weeks without playing your role as a government to enable them stay at home. I am fully in support of the stay at home policy but it would never work if the government does not step in to provide for the people while they are staying home, at least in the smallest possible way. Even I can not stay at home if there is nothing there at all for me to eat. America asked people to stay at home but they didn't just leave them, they have been crediting them with over N500k each, even to non citizens. Now that we have asked our people to stay at home just like the US did, why can't we also give them money like the US is doing? Well, I do not blame the government, we are the ones failing ourselves. We are the reason people who are incapable are in power... We the youths are the cause of our misfortunes. We are the ones who queue to vote our forefathers in the name of being devoted to a party, we are the ones who help them to snatch ballot boxes, we are the ones who do mass thumb printing for them... We are clearly reaping what we have sown. I hope that 5k you collected during election is still with you? Hold it tight, you will need it most now. A nation that does not have a data base of its citizens, a nation where any black man that has crossed the border can get a voter's card, national identity card and even benefit from community programs as we don't know who our citizens are. Many people in Lagos speak Yoruba but are not Nigerians, do we know them? Capital NO. Many others speak Fulani but are not Nigerians too, do we still know them? Big NO. Even in this modern age, children being delivered in Nigeria are not being registered in any national data base so that in the next 100 years, we can have a nation that knows all its citizens. Can't you see these forefathers doesn't have a plan for our unborn children, they are still focused on stashing cash for themselves even at a time like this and it is so disheartening. We will eventually win this fight against Covid-19 and 2023 would come, and they would come back to you with salt because dem think say you be goat wen dey lick salt, if you like use your head then. Only we can change the story of this nation, it is high time we saw beyond party based politics. #SHARE |
