madam Schwartz, it goes without saying that u need the prayers abeg. And forget all that ur gist of correcting impression. Na u be Angela Merkel abi? And don't even start mentioning other threads. Let's not even go there. Abi is it other threads where u used ur terrible negativity to spoil the mood of a thread where people were celebrating a female taxi driver. If u can be so negative to condemn the celebration of a noble act by ur fellow woman. Ehn, u need plenty of the prayers abeg. Becos this ur mindset go send u go gutter ni. This is not a curse o. It's a fact of life. Ur mindset determines ur life. Go ask elderly people and people who have become successes in germany. U need the prayers. Full stop.
if it is a big deal to you for a woman to drive a taxi in nigeria, in 2016 then you need to travel wide to change your mindset honestly

Ist of all, you really made me laff with this your comment. I laffed so hard I didn't even know how to reply you. You are converting 8€ paracetamol and comparing it to Nigerian emzor and saying 350€ laptop is a China laptop. Baby girl plz go broaden your horizon and stop mingling with those who keep giving you negative stories abt Germany. It won't help you going forward. I'm a damn realist and anyone who knows me here know I say it the way it is. And mind you I don't shop on eBay neither do I pratonize Primark or flohmarkt. When you are in Germany think like a German and stop making euro to naira conversion before you buy things, it won't help u.

You keep talking abt people not getting jobs or intern slot while I keep seeing Nigerians who have gotten jobs here. Them no get two heads, think positive. #enuf said, enjoy ur summer
Coming from someone who is moving from one student visa to another. you are damn hilarious. Why didnt you pick a job as you finished? or you want to tell me that no one in your course has moved forward in the past or present? please grin

Bless the land your are in, that you may eat and drink from its bountifulness......... dont ask me which version...E don tey wey i go church.lol

Wanderlustian I am awed by your honesty. No bragging of money figures. I am also looking towards going to Italy next year on a road trip. Then Paris, Amsterdam, Switzerland and many more. Maybe one country per year. Let me make use of my stay in Germany which enables me to travel to other European countries without needing a visa. I saw megabus on your picture I use Megabus too. Its incredibly cheap.

we are the cause of our own problems. as much as I condemn the killing of this innocent man, I believe he'll be somewhere in the south east eating akpu and running his business if he had used as little as 100k of what he spent on the Italy journey to start a business. is boko haram in the east? why did he have to tell such a ridiculous lie just to stay in a foreign land like a slave instead of living like a king in the east these are the people disgracing this country.
RIP chuks

lesson to everyone don't run abroad for the sake of doing so if you don't have any concrete thing to do there
My brother don't blame him. It is the lies that people abroad give to those back home that causes people to travel outside the country. There are challenges everywhere in the world but those at home will not listen. They have been told its all rosy and glorious abroad but in reality the reverse is the case.

Politics / Re: Oproama: How Dirty, Deserted This Oil Producing Community In Rivers Is by Schwartz: 12:44pm On Jul 06, 2016
I dont belive that Shell would be allowed to drill oil without giving back to the host community. The thing is that the big men such as the politicians, elders and sometimes even the traditional rulers in this places specifically tell the oil companies to pay the money into their accounts in exchange for development. Some people are actually feeding fat from the monies allotted to communities like this either by the government or by the companies.

Aydelicious, you need a new camera and the way you present the meals isn't attractive considering this is your business.
Let people salivate over the pictures so much that if and when they need the kind of service they provide, you will be in their mind.

This is constructive criticism.
The fried rice looks boring with only a few ingredients. I won't eat that angry

Hey, I quite disagree. To be realistic discussing sexual education with 11 year old is not too young. Children of nowadays do unbelievable things. My own sister got pregnant at 14. Meaning that she started sex earlier. I have also seen young girls of 12-13 already having boyfriends. Its better to teach them at 11/12 so they don't get pregnant or carry STDs.
I had my own sex education the very first day I started my period at age 9. I was givien a book called 'Every Woman' written by doctor. It gave me deep insights

Thanks to the guy that spoke about driving instead of taking a bus.

So I researched and researched and researched and came across a car sharing website called blablacars.co.uk where someone going your way can pick you up at the central station and drop you off at your destination.

I've seen a ride for 25 euros across the 3 countries... has anyone heard or used blablacars.co.uk before or any car sharing platform?
I have used blabla car to travel within Germany. Its just about an individual going somewhere and instead of going alone, he puts an advert online for passengers to join him for a fee.
Is this person going to travel to 3 countries by himself? I don't understand? Never heard of that

Family / Re: My Maid Sees Me As The Wicked One While My Husband Is The Good One. by Schwartz: 12:32pm On Jun 23, 2016
If only I had a voice in the government. I would push laws to avoid this so called house help modern slavery happening in many homes in Nigeria. In the Western world the man and the woman do the household shopping, cooking, cleaning, take care of the kids together. Its not a woman's place to do the domestic work alone. Here in Germany you can't afford a domestic worker in your home. You have to cough out a minimum of 8.50€ per hour that the person spends working for you. And definitely you can't hire a child. Its a crime. And for raising your hand against your worker, madam if you are reported you should be in jail.
Teach your husband to throw in his own weight around the house, helping with the kids and all and send that girl back to her parents.
I just wonder why people give away their kids to work for people. Its so annoying angry

Health / Re: Am I Infected With Measles Or Heat Rash? by Schwartz: 8:53am On Jun 22, 2016
IGOSABIdotCOM:
Hello healthy people, please what do I have on my skin? My mum says it's measles, but I'm thinking it's heat rash

P.S no insults, this is not my account.
The picture is not really clear. But I have had something similar. It started from legs and was spreading rapidly and very itchy. I first went to some Yoruba women preparing herbs. I bought all sorts of soaps, liquids nothing worked. Next I went to the camp clinic then while serving. They gave me drugs. None worked.
It was my fellow corpers who advised me to get fresh Palm wine, fresh bitter leaves and 7 keys from a chemist. I washed and squeezed the bitter leaves added to the palm wine, then rubbed some on my body. I also drank and used the 7 keys to rub on my skin. Everything disappeared very fast without a scar. I think the 7 keys alone sef will be okay.
