Big congratulations to those that just got their visa... On the other hand, I logged in to pay ihs and it says $1,040.56 which is equivalent to £733.391 using oanda converter.. I thought ihs fee for a year course should be £940. Please gurus in the house should advise me.. Should I go ahead with the payment now or wait till tomorrow to this if this was an error from ihs website?

Hello House,

My wife got admission into Teeside University for a 2year program. Total school fees is £15000 which means £7500 per year. She is supposed to pay a £4000 deposit while she has a £1500 scholarship.

Our son and I are applying with her as dependants.

So, for POF for our son, I have calculated £680 * 9 for him which is £6120, and the same for me too.

for my wife, I calculated £1023 * 9 for her which equals to £9207.

So, by my calculation, our total POF should be as follows
£2000 (school fees remainder)
+ £9207 (Wife's maintenance)
+ £6120 (Son's maintenance)
+ £6120 ( my maintenance)
Total = £23447

Please I want to be double sure that all my calculations are fine and correct before i start the process...

What if the account is my lates dad account and transactions don’t go on it only In cases when I want to collect money for tuition fees Nd living expenses like this, the account has been like that for over 19 years now but I always take my tuition fee Nd living cost every year, is there a way to explain that and I know some people might say I should transfer the funds to my account but I can’t do such until my lawyers confirm I have my visa at hand

Hello people, can you help me confirm that I am correct with this:

The last deposit required for POF was paid on Tuesday 25th of May 2021.

Am I correct to say that the 28 days will start counting from Wednesday 26th of May till the Tuesday 22nd of June.

And that the bank statement print out will be from 26th May 2021 - 23rd June 2021?

No. You can submit a qualifying bank statement of longer than 28 days with no problem whatsoever. They'll count back 28 days from the last transaction on the statement, if any.

I think we've had this before, and its been answered. As an aside, since people here are planning to move to the UK to school, learn to research. A lot of the information we ask here is available for free on www.gov.uk, and trust me that carries more weight than any answer you get from random people on the internet, [/b]because you can always screenshot it and keep it for future reference, or cite it in a cover letter ("[b]In line with point 4.2 blablabla of the Student Visa guidance, I've provided bank statements....". That sort of thing shows the ECO you've done some homework
