Good afternoon. Please for the POF, is it a must I do a transaction on my account on day one and on day 28th day before printing out the statement? Or can I just leave the POF in the account for 28 days without performing any transaction and go ahead and print out on the 28th or 29th day? Because I saw a friend's statement today that had only two transactions within the 28 days (14/5/21 - 7/6/21) which are bank interest paid at the end of May and VAT deducted from the interest paid and he is confused as to if the statement of account is in order. Please someone help to clarify.

I think the lesson so far is to ensure that we do a forensic study of our statement before submitting it.

1. Check that (Opening Balance - Total Debit) + Total Credit = Closing Balance

2. Manually check that all debits add up to the Total Debit

3. Manually check that all credits add up to the Total Credit

4. Check carefully that the balance after any credit or debit transaction doesn't impact the balance below the required amount even just for one day (Meaning if are supposed to have a minimum of N10million the balance per transaction made on the account must NEVER go below N10million even by 50kobo

5. Ensure that the statement you are submitting is very clear and readable after you scanned it.

6. Check that the naira equivalent of your maintenance fee + tuition balance is less than the opening balance and less than the closing balance (opening and the closing balance must be equal or greater than the N10million naira equivalent of the maintenance fee + tuition balance)

7. Also check your printed statement covers at least 28 calendar days = I suggest you do something like 1/May/2021 - 30/May/2021 or 30/May/2021 - 29/June/2021

8. Do NOT empty your account after visa submission. My own suggestion Oooooo

9. Ensure the exchange rate favour u well on the submission day (Oanda is your go-to place).-Although I expect you to have extra fund to buffer for any madness in Naira dancing up and down like a yoyo.

10. Finally PRAY

Please this list is not exhaustive: I am open to additions and constructive critic.

I have unconditional offers at 2 unis already and I can go for any even without the SHU or UB responding fast.
I'm particular about going for the TB test which I already booked while waiting for other outcomes. I know TB test expires in 6months too.
Can I do the test with the address I intend to stay at and start my 28days POF afterwards?

I'm particularly waiting for SHU's unconditional offer even tho I already have unconditional offers from other schools. I already booked TB test for this month (June) and I've not started counting my POF since I'm not sure yet which of the schls I'll go for.

A family I'll be staying with in Birmingham wants me to apply to UB because it's closer to the house which I just did yesterday. I don't know how long it will take to get response from them.

My question is, should I just go for the TB test as already planned with the family's house address in Birmingham, even tho I've not made a decision on which school i'll go for? Or must I have decided on a school before going for the test?

Greetings everyone, i need an insight in my calculations and i dont want to get it wrong.

Balance of school fees as indicated on CAS = £6,460
My living expense = £9,207
1 Dependant = £6,120
Total = £21,787

The least balance i have had in the account for the past 3 weeks is N13,490,714.28 due to transactions (inflow and outflow). I have slightly more than this at the moment.

Please am i still on track?
