If you don't want to accept some sort of embarrassment, insults, or arrogance--in the process of pursuing and attaining your dreams--you cannot attain those dreams and be successful. Do you know the VO would have been more enraged and then issue refusal if the student had reacted negatively or said something awful in return to the "shut up"? But he was calm and took the "shut up" as though, "well, I have been told something more bad before now. It is fine!" This is what it means to be psychologically calm in the midst of a system that is set up to catch visa applicant with intention to migrate to the US!

Life is not about what we deserve, for if we did not create ourselves, we deserve nothing! Life is about what we want and what you want to give, and your attitude to the challenges you'll face in getting and giving those things.

Actually, there are different ways to say "shut up." Besides that, there is cultural difference. Telling a foreigner to shut up and telling a Nigerian to shut will generate two very different reactions.

On top of it, I read the transcript, it seems he deserved the shut ups. There was some "shut up," there was also some "listen to me."

Sometimes in January, I got ePlanet to get me an iPhone 7plus as a Dealhunter and he offered me one for 140k and he told me to make payment to Lionlee which I did on January 15. I was new to all this then but I asked on the thread and I think two people vouched for him. But he kept on stalling with the deal bringing up one excuse after the other and I eventually got another deal from another Dealhunter. I was still waiting for him to come thru on the deal but he always had an excuse.

Then in feb,I told him i wanted him to get me two iPhone 7 instead and he said I will have to add additional 20k and I make the payment on feb 21.
Then he got me one iPhone 7. He assured me i will get the second device soon. But since then, he has been giving different excuses for not getting the phone so I decided to call off the deal and get a refund on the 9th of April.
He said he will make arrangements and forward my balance to me. He said he is on an island and the network is bad there and that he can’t risk doing the transfer from there. I told him I can’t keep waiting indefinitely for him so he should give me a date to pay up. He promised 7th of May and since then till now, there is no word of him.
He hasn’t replied my messages on whatsapp and he didn’t reach out to me.
Just decided to put this out here after exercising a lot of patience to settle this amicably.

You did not clearly state your question but I'm guessing you are worried about the change of degree based on the "but" statement you used.

Let me give you my 2 cents.

There is absolutely no problems with doing a masters degree that is different from your undergrad. In fact, this is one area I applaud the US educational system because it has a high degree of flexibility. For instance, a lot of Indians that study MS in Computer Science had their undergrads in Engineering or Information Technology. A lot of Chinese students that study MS in Statistics had their undergrads in Economics.

I have even seen BS in Architecture to MS in Computer Science and BS in Psychology to MS in Computer Science too.

So, I see no problems with you choosing a master's degree different from your undergrad.

However, try to make a connection from your undergrad to your work experience and to your master's degree so that the VO will know you are a legit student.

But generally, I don't think you have a problem at all.

I sleep, listen to music. I look woke, but I am a conservative. Clubbing and so many things like that isn't my thing, though I have been there (including strip clubs) out of curiosity.
