Not that people don't enjoy this model still with good maintenance habits but this version(I4 07-09) is only prone/liable to the aforementioned issues compared with 2010/11.

I am a first hand witness who happens to be very credible, and I know for a fact that she only knows what she is told as it relates to this matter. That is why I have stopped responding to her directly.

Some lies are being spread that we replaced the engine ECU with an updated version sadly the individuals assumption is false .



This is the current old dusty engine ECU in the vehicle with its ID and firmware. You can cross-check on an Acura database if it was updated.

2nd 3rd and 4th pics is what was supplied (used part) it was unnecessary at the time, I even told the buyer, but he was assured it would solve his oil pressure warning light.

I don’t know why Corolla just refuse to improve their interior design. Civic’s interior have always been better. A little more pricey but, Corolla no even dey try. Considering both brands are part of the compact car competition

OBJ introduced the State Electiral commission in 2002. Before the.man the LGA elections were held same time with other national elections. Please just do little research and you will know that OBJ destroyed the LGA autonomy.

I really appreciate your input sir.
Only two engineers have seen it so far..
The first guy was the one that rescued me at Highway brakedown.
Initially he wanted to a quick fix by changing the top cylinder gasket and so but later called back to inform me about the fried ring pairs so I went with my mech and towed it back home over a 100km journey.
Upon close examination by my mech he concluded the pistons, block, cylinders and connecting rods were okay except for the rings, no cracks or whatsoever.
I will agree with you that the engine must have seen terrible things for the rings to have mellted but he insisted on premium rings instead of engine.
I could afford a new engine too but I felt theres no harm in trying..
So i'm buying the rings today and lubricants tomorrow..
I will keep you posted as we proceed.
