OP the Agent is telling you the truth.... Lagos plate numbers are no longer uploaded on FRSC website anymore... Police are aware of this also... Several times I've been stopped here in PH and they verify my number plate without issue.

From codes I see, you’ve messed up your engine and transmission.

Now I’d be blunt with you; people like you will use a Mercedes or Infiniti then will go about advising others not to buy those cars that they’re bad. Whereas you have a terrible maintenance culture. Just imagine when you’re scanning your car, after doing those major jobs, that’s when you even remembered there’s a scanner?

I won’t pet this issue. If a 2005 Camry (with great engine and gear) can torment you like this, then I don’t know of any car that you’d be able to use. You have also been in Nairaland since 2013 and you don’t know of auto section?

Here comes my honest advise: change the entire engine and get a new transmission because I don’t know how far that kazeem has gone with your car.

Any engine can be rebuilt, no matter their engine compositions (aluminum+aluminum; aluminum+cast; or cast +cast ).

Lexus IS250 is a 6 cylinder engine but fuel consumption is almost the same with Camry 2.4 engine. The only flaw is that it is too low

I do have same issue like you, but I’ve decided to be using it like that. I don’t care if my break is making noise, it’s even common here in PH so what I do is always on my AC and play music. One car cannot come and kill my joy.

I got a 2011 Toyota Camry SE tokunbo and I have been paying attention to the fuel consumption of the car and it seems to be consistently far off the numbers listed online. From the recent numbers, I drove about 450km (90% city driving) with 60ltrs giving me around 7.5km per litre or 13.3 litres per 100km. Please is this okay or is there something wrong with my car?. I bought the car at 180k miles. Please I need replies to help me sleep well or find solution if there's a problem. Thanks
