Please house I was stopped by FRSC at Mbiama in Rivers State and i was told that my tyres manufactured in 2017 week 41 has expired.. At first i thought the man was joking not until he told me he is going to book me.. I changed it for them and their boss said truly my tyres are expired and i told the boss tyres less than 4 years are not expired.
Please I want to know tyres expire after how many years from production date.

Hello All.
Pls and pls.
I just got a toyota corrola 2010.
Everything was fine and d engine was sounding well.
After purchase, since i intend to go long journey with it, i took it for servicing. Oil filter and engine oil was changed, since dt day, i started hearing a knocking sound like on my engine. Could oil cause such noise? I hve it recorded bt i dont how to send it here. The sounds is worrysome nd get worst everyday... The mechanic was saying after d oil circulates it will stop but here we are, every cold start, it start and continue. This tin started from my hand and dats why i want to see what i can do to clear it.
Cc: gazzuzu Dozieon siena6 pls help ur boi, let me know if ds sudden sound can dissapear.

OIL USED BELOW

You were asking about this palm oil in engine oil container, and people warned you but you didn’t listen to them rather you trust you mechanics advice.

I'm not good with anything mechanical related

Open the fuel tank, and close the black plastic cover very well..

Any update on your car cleaning?

Alright. So based on your analogy, you’ll recommend a 2002 Lexus over a 2010 Camry? Since Lexus is the luxury version of Toyota.

Can you show me where the comment i replied to mention 2002 Lexus and 2010 Camry? If you can't then go in peace

DukeNija:
Far better in what sense?

Lexus is the luxury model of Toyota. It’s better in all aspect except fuel economy because it comes in only 3.5L engine.

Dahreformer2666:
Please I need interpretation of this code

Start by checking if your fuel tank cover is tight.. then clear the code and drive for sometime to know if the code will pop up

Good. cattle rearing should be the same way pig and poultry business.

Reason I always tell people to activate PIN code on every sim cards.. Once they insert it in another phone it won't work.

Debosneh31:
Please is 340miles a good mpg in a full tank in? Camry 09 I4

If this is a city mileage, then your car has good fuel economy.
My wife’s 2006 Camry i4 does 320 miles in the city.

true, I have been a victim before
those police officers at the slaughter roundabout should be vigilant

Those Police officers can't do anything.. The bad boys will go after them once they close from work.

If you are not a resident around that area you won’t know the atrocities committed daily at that place. People were getting robbed and stabbed daytime and once the criminals enter slaughter you can’t do anything. A colleague was robbed around 7:00pm at the slaughter roundabout while in traffic. I support Gov Wike on this.

Please, I'm here again ooo, okay, I discovered one of my tire is getting bad and told mechanic about it, he said I need to buy Tire for the car, the car is kia optima 2013 the factory type that come with the tire is
225/45R18 and he said I should change it to something bigger to help the height of the car, please I nedd urgent help if I should get a different type like he suggested or I should stick the regular type that come with the car ?

You can go for 225/50/R18 you will have extra ground clearance and it will not affect the car balance.

Can i get original custom duty papers for a car that was brought into the country illegally?

I will advice you not to try driving that car through Ore/Benin road. If you do just prepare to say Goodbye to the car. The customs on that road will show you pepper.

FFK sometimes just say things without thinking deep.. USA army started moving out of Afghanistan since mid 2020... Biden just follow through on the plans of Donald Trump.

Hello Gazzuz,

Sorry to interfere, I have followed the thread silently for a while and picked a few tips here and there.

But what's the relevance of the question in bold as regards oil change?

I'm asking because a Honda Civic (of that generation) has the option of choosing the display to read either in miles or in km. There's also an indicator which displays the oil life in %.

Reason for the question is because some people don't if their odometer reading is in MPH or KM.

Good morning fellow Nlders,

Kindly help me with my Toyota Sienna 2006 model.

I realised that when I remove my leg from the gas pedal, the accelerator doesn't return. It keeps at it until I push it up with my leg.

I noticed this a couple of days ago. My mechanic doesn't seem to know what to do.

Please how do I fix this problem?

Look for a mechanic that can loose the pedal and check the spring in it if it's still good.

Governor Wike is hell bent on destroying PDP, in the first place it was himself that sponsored and financed Secondus election so, am at loss as to what Nyesom Wike want, if it is the President or Vice President of Nigeria I think Wike lacks the finnesse and diplomatic composure to hold that and, anyway come to think of it must he and co-travellers destroy PDP inorder to win, what vehicle will they then use to achieve this dastardly ambition? My suspicion is that they forming another party which includes the likes of Rochas.

Wike will do anything to crush anybody that he feels is blocking him from having his way. He’s so tyrannical in nature. Here in rivers state he handpick people he wants in any position and nobody dare question him.
Remember he brought Ali Modu Sherrif to PDP in 2017

My car is Toyota Camry 2005 Model

When the temperature guage of my vehicle moves to the middle, after a while, I notice that the two fans attached to the radiator rotate for just 10-15 seconds and stop. I haven't take notice of this before now. I was expecting it to rotate for a longer time. Is this normal or something is wrong?

Leave that car alone.

How much and how do I apply. Do I pour everything inside or half cos instructions on the coolant cap is in Japanese. Also what is the best quality catalyst cleaner for lexus. I want premium. I only want to buy to mechanic for change of shocks and probably topping of ac.....

Yo pour everything, I think you will need 6 liters of that..

If you don’t mind the shape of RAV4, I will suggest you go for it. Please get the 2010-2013 model with the strong i5 4 cylinder engine. Got good fuel economy and the engine is strong, unlike the 2az engine in 2006-2009 models.

How well does LexusIS250 hold up in Nigeria?

Any common/major issues associated with this model?

Low ground clearance, don’t drive in any flooded area. And the most important are you ready for police stopping you every time they sight your car. Because they assume that car belongs to G boys especially if you’re young and dress flashy. I’m typing this from experience here in the SS.

The Ubah brothers are the true example of a yoruba adage that says "Any home enjoying peace means that the Bastard child is not of age"
Why can't they use their positions to better the life of Anambra masses instead of showcasing their greed.

UncutSk:
someone suggested new kyb shocks for rx300 what do you think of that brand

KYB is a very good brand, just be careful of cloned KYB shocks been sold as original KYB

fergie001:
Their issues are multi-faceted. Something they should have tackled long time ago.

From the last count, they have 3 big cases....In Jigawa, In Delta & in Awka. They have 3 factional National Chairmen. The Courts haven't helped them either.

Their issues will roll on to September/October at the earliest.

You’re right. I see replay of what happened to Rivers APC in 2019 happening to APGA in Anambra. By the time the all factions will come to their senses it will be too late.
