america has stopped funding the palestinians, since trump said all negotiations with israel in peace talk must exclude jerusalem. so muhmud abass said, if jerusalem is off the table of negotiation, so too must america. and trump said he had been insulted.

Oga you don't stop to amaze me with your lack of knowledge. Let me address just one of your falsehoods. You claim that America stopped funding the Palestinians since Trump.
But Washington is the largest donor ($343 million in 2022), followed by Germany and the European Union ($114 dollars in 2022
Do you see why I said you need to learn?
Most of Palestinian money is coming from the west. From white men.
That's the only reason why this war has no end.

If the owner alone handled all the expenses, let's be honest: do you think this approach is sustainable in the long run, and that drivers wouldn't take advantage of the situation? In my opinion, I don't think so.

No, I'm not advocating for the owner to handle repairs 100%. That's not even possible in today's economic reality.

What am happy about is the owner showing up and making sure everything is back to normal for the driver.

Some owners will not even bother to ask the driver how he resolved the issue talk less of showing up in person.

They would have used calls and threatening to frustrate the driver's life because Kickstarter stopped working grin

The government of Saudi Arabia wants peace and progress. It's the same with Jordan and Egypt. The Egyptians are not even comfortable taking in refugees from Gaza.
The truth remains that this war continues to rage because the west have spoiled the Palestinians. They are the most privileged refugees on earth with human development index better than most African countries thanks to money from the west. Yet many of you blame the white man or the west.
I also blame them but for a different reason. You don't achieve peace by pampering a terrorist nation.
The Palestinians have always refused to negotiate whenever a two state solution was presented to them. What really do these people want.
As for me, I want peace. I want a two state solution. But you really can't get there until you force the Palestinians to shun terrorism and to negotiate.

There is a reason they say the world is now a global village. You can stay in your room no matter how remote the location is .Just have a good internet connection and the sophisticated skill to search online. You will see what's up.

How will someone in Nigeria carrying a B.sc in psychology go through the UK and think you can survive easily? But another guy is heavily armed with latest programming skillset and has juicy portfolios will do well. Both are in the same country but with different skills. They will never live the same quality of life.

If Mr psychology had researched he will know that his academic knowledge in Psychology isn't relevant as a migrant in the UK.

My point is don't rely solely on information from those struggling there.Do well to listen to those doing well and compare.Above all research online to understand the current state of the country economy.

It's research that will tell you that Austria is a good place for foreign educational ambition and from there it's easy to move to other nations.

My point is the idea of research cannot be over not at all.I am drumming it to you to develop a research mindset.

Many complaining maybe right but also a vast majority of them are trying to emotionally hoodwink you to believe that it's not their fault that they are suffering so you won't mock them.

Do you know how much a cyber security guy earns in the UK? Do you know the labour shortage in that space?

.

I know u will mention programming and tech. That's what u find online but the question u should ask ur self " how easy is it to find this jobs?"

Without UK experience it's not easy to break through with those tech skills.
While coming to UK I did data analysis and couple of other tech skills. But getting this job is another story.

Remember u have just 1 year or max 2 years before visa expires?. So where is the time? Moreover you have bills pressing ur neck.

The easiest job to get was care assistant, cleaning, kitchen porter, gate men etc

Don't mention construction because u need cscs card to access any construction site before u now talk about ur experience in the field u want to go for.

See what u have in Nigeria in ur head is very different from what u see on ground.

Tbh, he’s a really patient and supportive teacher. He can take his time to explain things to you until you understand it and he pushes hard on your spoken language skills than all the others. The only problem is that he hammers so much on your spoken language skills and you will have to take personal responsibility for the other parts of your learning. If you’re someone that expects your tutor to know it all, you will be sadly disappointed. Also on a few occasions he misses classes without notice. Well he used to do this but I had a stern talk with him about it and he has improved. Overall, I love his willingness to accept when he’s wrong and work with you on whatever issues you have with French even outside classes. Madame Bizange introduced me to him after I had classes with her for one month and I’ll say on the humane side, he’s great. But on the strict teacher side, he still has a lot to learn. I’d say he’s a 7.5/10

Nigerians can be terrible though, why troll the lady? What if they ended on very bad note should she have pretended to be happy for him? Hain!

You are right about your last paragraph although I believe guys who would gush that much over Ayra would most likely be young boys not grown women whose profile pictures shows they aren't suffering. lipsrsealed . But then in order not to sound judgemental, I'd go with the thought that everybody likes better thing grin. Nawa!

In all I have Sha seen my waka waka boy grin grin grin

I don't pay much attention to celeb gists as well but if you are on Twitter, you must have stumbled on their couple pictures at least ONCE.

I don't follow him on Twitter as well but his posts appear on my feed by virtue of followers on my timeline retweeting his posts.

I know right?! It was irritating seeing people troll her but I'm glad she didn't respond to such nonsense.

Na lie oh, nor be only young guys dey fool themselves ontop woman. Nor be Israel DMW wey dey him 40s dey moo-moo himself online.

Then again, I remember when one babe was reigning on Twitter and IG and grown men were fawning over her. I remember vividly a guy stayed up more than 18hrs or so online live video and was gushing when the babe answered his live video.

Then again, people can shoot their shot on Twitter na. You sef fit shoot shot to your beloved Tunde. cheesy

All candidates agreed that subsidy had to go.

Buhari subtly removed it by refusing to make budgetary provisions for it. Tinubu ought to have left it at that. But announcing it sent shock waves across the country because those wicked marketers hoarded products.

Defending the naira was also a form of dollar subsidy. You may not be aware that banks were hoarding fx because of the exchange rate differential. Also, there were too many BDCs unregistered that were doing the round-tripping. Like I argued then, every major currency is floated, but the market for trading fx is not floated. It is heavily regulated. But subsidizing dollar sakes, we open and sustain a new avenue of stealing by the already corrupt class. Okay, all the dollars Cardi B pumped into the system, what economic activity were they tied to?

Nothing! Just a store of wealth by the rich. The dollar subsidy had to go to free up funds for other things.

Are you aware that funds to universities and other tertiary institutions had increased? Are you also aware that FAAC allocations to states have increased?

As for minimum wage, many people do not know that FG pays more apart from the minimum wage. There are allowances that many civil servants would never talk about. I made a topic on it yesterday.

Ask any NNPC worker about allowances.

FG can pay 200k minimum wage because they already pay cumulatively up to that to some workers in the form of cumulated allowances. But the disparity with states that cannot pay will lead to an economic crisis. When retailers jerk up prices when they hear minimum wage increment, they never ask if you are a federal or state worker.

As for failure, Tinubu has not failed. Historically, one year is for settling in, two years for governance and the last year for politicking. If anything, Tinubu has shown he is bold and daring. He has learnt to be more tactical and diplomatic.

I don't see him failing.

One of the things you said here is misleading, it's not every country that float their currency. Floating of the currency depends on how the economy of the nation is doing, Nigeria economy is not yet good for currency floating
that's why a partial subsidy was added to the oil, naira, religious prigrimage and even palliative of which most was looted

Are you about to buy your first home in Nigeria?

You don't want to miss reading this....

Here I will talk about tips you need as a first time home buyer to get the right deals for you ...

Relax and read through till the end...

** Budget Wisely: Before you start looking, determine how much you can afford.

Consider your income, expenses, and future financial goals.

Don’t forget to include additional costs like legal fees, survey costs, and stamp duties.

** Research Locations: Location is key. Look for areas with good infrastructure, security, and potential for property value growth.

Whether you want to invest in Lagos or Abuja or any other city in Nigeria, ensure you choose a location that suits your lifestyle and work commitments.

** Secure Financing: Check out your mortgage options.

You can check out different banks and financial institutions to find the best mortgage rates and terms.

Some banks offer specialized products for first-time buyers which might include lower interest rates or down payment requirements.

** Check Property Titles: Always verify the property title. Ensure the property you are interested in is free from disputes and has a valid title document.

This is crucial to avoid legal troubles down the line.

** Use a Reputable Agent: A good real estate agent can make the buying process smoother.

Look for agents with positive reviews and a strong track record in the area you are interested in.

** Inspect the Property: Don’t skip the home inspection.

Hire a professional to inspect the property for structural integrity, plumbing, electrical systems, and other critical areas.

This can save you from costly repairs after purchase.

** Negotiate: Don't be afraid to negotiate the price.

Often, there is room to negotiate on the listing price, which could save you a lot of money.

** Plan for the Future: Consider your long-term needs.

Is the home adaptable to changes in your family size or work life?

Think about resale value and the potential for renting it out in the future.
