nnpc the father of them all could not conclude EH component of 2019 recruitment because of lack of fund!
I won't be surprised if the last has been heard of NCDMB recruitment.

Bros, it wasn't due to lack of funds. It was just because the GMD unilaterally did not see the need for experienced hire from outside the company. All the other management staff begged him but he refused.

Politics / BUSTED: How Nasiru Danu Bribed Homeless Americans To Protest For Buhari In US by AllahThePig: 10:53pm On Sep 28, 2021
BUSTED: Sponsor Of Pro-Buhari Protest In New York Identified As Businessman And All Progressives Congress Party Chieftain, Nasiru Danu

Danu had over time identified as a die-hard Buhari loyalist and has enjoyed the support of the Buhari administration.

Saharareporters, New York Sep 27, 2021

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nasiru Haladu Danu sponsored the pro-President Muhammadu Buhari protest which was recently held in New York, United States, SaharaReporters gathered.

Nasiru Danu

Danu was said to have single-handedly ensured the payment of $50 per hour to over 50 men and women who came out for the rally.

"The 'One Nigeria' protest which is pro-Buhari was funded by Nasiru Danu. He funded all the Pro-Buhari hired crowd at the United Nations General Assembly in New York," a source told SaharaReporters.

SaharaReporters also got the copy of a mail written by one of the organisers of the protest titled, ‘I need 50 people men and women for tomorrow morning 50$ a hour (sic) (Midtown East)'.

It reads: “Good evening, I need 50 people men and women, preferably black, to come support and cheer for a black government official at the United Nations headquarters on midtown East Manhattan at exactly 11.30am. The whole gig will be around a hour (sic) and a half to 2 hours, you'll be compensated on the spot by me 50 dollars a hour. Text or call me asap if interested 7184130053 for more details, bring more people if you can please. See you all tomorrow.”

Checks by SaharaReporters showed that the phone number attached to the email belongs to one Ogundare Olukemi who is said to be based in New York, United States.

From further checks, the main sponsor, Danu had over time identified as a die-hard Buhari loyalist and has enjoyed the support of the Buhari administration.

His flagship company, Casiva, which is also into security, civil and mechanical construction, supply, and procurement, was listed among the 15 consortia/companies awarded the 2019/2020 contracts for the exchange of crude oil for imported petroleum products by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, nnpc.

Information about Casiva Limited on its website reads: “Casiva Limited is an indigenous company offering services in Procurement, Project Management and Logistics, committed to delivering Solutions and Services for Construction, Oil & Gas Industries, Security equipment, and accessories; as a total solution provider for all your security requirements."

SaharaReporters learnt that in 2016, Danu’s company was awarded a contract for the provision of pipeline security and maintenance services along the Kaduna-Kano and Zaria-Gusau segments.

Danu, was in March 2021 accused of conniving with some top officials of the Nigeria Customs Service to defraud the Nigerian government of N51 billion, meant to improve Customs revenue.

Danu is an arrowhead in what is now known in some quarters as President Muhammadu Buhari’s oil mafia group.

A source said the fraud, which implicates the Comptroller General of the NCS, Col Hameed Ali (rtd), was named “Revenue Assurance Fraud" by some officials of the agency.

He however denied the allegations through a March 6, 2021 letter to SaharaReporters by his lawyer, Bose Olanipekun of Wole Olanipekun & Co.

In 2019, Danu made headlines when he was reportedly arrested at Heathrow Airport, United Kingdom, for an alleged passport scam and money laundering.

He was reportedly caught with a fake Malta Passport and in his possession, more than £200,000.00 in cash.

Danu, who hails from Jigawa State, is currently the traditional title-holder of ‘Dan Amanar Dutse’ in the state.

Video Shows Alleged recruitment Of Pro-Buhari Protesters

In a video seen by SaharaReporters, some Nigerians in the diaspora agitating for self-determination accuses the Pro-Buhari protesters of collecting $50 per hour.

They are heard explaining to the Pro-Buhari protesters that killings are going on in Nigeria as the protesters are seen going into a room and coming out with T-shirts.

They also appear like hired foreigners.

A voice could be heard saying, “They hired them for $50 per hour and gave them clothes. As you can see, they are doing the transaction inside that place.

“The ‘One Nigeria group' is giving clothes to these people inside that place.

“You can see that most of these people are not Nigerians, they were hired."

Another voice added, “Nigeria is a terrorist country, the government of Nigeria is killing people. The Nigerian government is a wicked government. It is tyrannical."

The Pro-Buhari protesters, were however unbothered as they go in and out of the ‘transaction’ room.

This newspaper recalls a report from September 21 stating that pro-government Nigerian protesters who countered groups agitating for self-determination in New York, United States were paid $50 per hour.

One of the people involved in “the deal” told SaharaReporters that the “One Nigeria” protesters were promised $50 for one hour and $150 for three hours to be at the venue of the protest and to show support for the Buhari regime despite the glaring failures.

“One of the organisers of the fake 'One Nigeria' protest who bribed some Nigerians with the money is Haruna Bello,” a top source revealed to SaharaReporters.

Also, a woman confirmed that she was contacted by the organisers of the “One Nigeria” protest but she declined.

The source said the organisers requested a copy of the identity card of those who would be joining the protest which caused an uproar and made some people back out of the protest.

She said, “I was invited for the pro-Buhari protest. The organisers promised to pay $50 for one hour and we'll be there for three hours. The person did not know we are Oduduwa adherents; we played along as if we didn't understand him. He explained that he was given a contract to do it but yesterday, it became an issue.

"Nigerians who initially agreed later had an issue with the organisers because the organisers of the pro-Buhari protest said those who would join the protest must tender their ID cards, a copy would be made and taken to the Nigerian House but those ones refused because an ID card in America is very significant.

“With that, the organisers had to quickly go and look for any other Nigerian they saw or those who had no legal papers yet and who are in need of the $150, that they would take them to the venue. It was a staged protest. It was $50 an hour for three hours making it $150.”

Two Nigerian groups with conflicting ideologies confronted each other in New York over the President's visit.

The groups had converged at the Nigerian House on 42nd Street, 2nd Avenue, airing opposing views about the issues of insecurity in Nigeria and its unity.

The protest began as President Muhammadu Buhari arrived in New York for his scheduled activities for the United Nations General Assembly.

The One Nigeria group members carried placards on which were written, “Stronger together”, “Unity in diversity”, “Genocide in Eastern Nigeria plain propaganda”,

“Nigerians want national unity, not secession”, “Nigerian Christians not targets of genocide or ethnic cleansing”.

They were, however, opposed by some anti-Buhari protesters who had been organising protests for days calling for a referendum to determine the fate of the country.

The protesters who are calling for self-determination alleged that the members of the One Nigeria Group were “fake” Nigerians hired to display the country's flags and take pictures.

To the best of my knowledge the issue that led to the suspension of the recruitment has not been resolved. And the MD nnpc Pension Fund Limited was transferred to another SBU of nnpc while a New MD was appointed.
If you have people in Federal Character Commission you can confirm from them if they have more information because the ball is in their court.
Lol.
You're really doing good here Mr. Modikko.
Thanks

Politics / NNPC Cuts Directors’ Fees By 60.2% To N214m - Reduces Entertainment Expenses by ogododo: 3:38pm On Sep 12, 2021
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (nnpc) slashed the various fees collected by directors of the national oil company from N606 million in 2019 to N214 million in 2020, a THISDAY’s analysis of the just-released Audited Financial Statement (AFS) for 2020 has shown.

This represents a 60.2 per cent reduction in directors’ fees.
Typically, directors’ fees entail compensation for services as a member of the board of directors of the company, excluding reimbursement of expenses or other non-regular forms of compensation.
In all, the audited statement showed that in certain areas, the corporation did remarkably well in its avowed cost-cutting efforts during the year under review, while other administrative cost centres, gulped a substantial portion of the nnpc’s finances.

Following the economic downturn occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic last year, which led to the fall in oil prices, the nnpc said it was embarking on the internal restructuring of its operations, including shaving off unnecessary spending as well as automation of its processes.

“The corporation saved a lot of cost through contract renegotiation by up to 30 per cent on the heels of the COVID-19 pandemic, introduction of technology that drastically cut travel cost through reduction in in-person meetings and the general automation of processes that enhanced efficiency across the group’s businesses,” Group Managing Director of the nnpc, Mallam Mele Kyari, said last week.

He was speaking on how the nnpc made its first gain in 44 years, amounting to N287 billion in 2020.
Under general administrative expenses, although the nnpc paid N6.2 billion for rent and rates as opposed to N5 billion in 2019, it however reduced repairs and maintenance costs from N38 billion to N26.6 billion.
Security expenses were reduced from N12.6 billion in 2019 to N12.3 billion, in 2020, while directors’ fees were reduced from N606 million to N214 million, a slump of about 60 per cent.

The nnpc board is led by the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva, who doubles as the alternate chairman, assisted by Senator Magnus Abe, Dr. Tajudeen Umaru, Dr. Steven Dike, Mrs. Lami Ahmed, Chief Pius Akinyelure, Mallam Mohammed Lawal and Secretary of the Board, Mrs. Hadiza Coomassie, as well as the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance.
For general and administrative charges, the nnpc’s bank charges increased from N370 million in 2019 to N845 million in 2020, exchange loss was N72 million, advertisement and publicity gulped N5.3 billion, up from N1.2 billion in 2019.

In addition, employee benefits expenses cost increased from N357 billion to N397 billion, donations rose from N279 million to N3.63 billion, audit fees rose from N1.040 to N1.07 billion, while entertainment expenses were slashed from N8.3 billion to N1.6 billion in the 2020 financial year.

Between 2019 and 2020, legal and professional fees paid by the corporation reduced from N30 billion to N24 billion while printing and stationery came down from N1.6 billion to N976 million.
Staff training and recruitment cost slumped from N12.8 billion to N7.5 billion in the year under review and what the corporation termed management and facilitation fees increased from N1.3 billion to N5.6 billion.

However, the document revealed that transport and travelling gulped N13.5 billion in 2019 and N14.2 billion in 2020, a year marked by travel restrictions as countries embarked on lockdown due to the pandemic, even as postages and telephone expenses which consumed N8.5 billion in 2019, dropped to N5.6 billion in 2020.

Office running cost jumped from N11 million to N83 million, while under the subheading other expenses, which included Nigerian content expenses, business development expenses, decoration and beautification expenses, the amount spent was reduced from N53.2 billion to N26.6 billion.

Similarly, nnpc paid N94 billion as pensions in 2020, up from N90 billion in 2019 and gratuity costs decreased from N51 billion to N46 billion in 2020. Cumulatively, the nnpc spent N678.171 on general and administrative expenses, a reduction from N695.949 in 2019.

The AFS stated that the share of loss of nnpc in Nikorma Transport and West Africa LPG, the corporation’s shipping and transportation company engaged in transportation of energy products, was not recognised since the accumulated share of loss was higher than the initial investment.

In terms of monies from contracts, revenue from crude oil sales was N828 billion in 2020 as opposed to N1.0 trillion in 2019; revenue from petroleum product sales was N2.2 trillion in 2020, from a high of N2.9 trillion in 2019, sales of natural gas increased from N489 billion in 2019 to N524 billion in 2020 while monies from services rendered decreased from N144 billion to N89 billion in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
In all, group revenues from the above items for the group, decreased from N4.6 trillion in 2019 to N3.7 trillion in 2020, according to the document.

On a sectorial basis, Nigerian Gas Company (NGC), one of the nnpc’s subsidiaries established in 1988, spent N31.88bn on salaries, welfare and other personnel expenses in 2020 and generated N109.1 billion in 2020, representing a 21 per cent increase from N90.2 billion in 2019.
The company’s profit before tax also increased by 19 per cent from N54.7 billion in 2019 to N65.1 billion in 2020, while profit after tax also rose by 20 per cent to N52.7 billion from N43.7 billion in the preceding year.

http://www./f37/new-thread-nnpc-hopefuls-84908/

I want some of you who are feeling desperate about this nnpc recruitment and full of anxiety to visit the thread above. It was started on the 11th of September 2011 after nnpc interviews like this and it currently has 1594 pages.
Many theories were postulated including information from key management sources at the top of nnpc.
Wednesday theories included that the nnpc board/management meet those days.
Madam Minister of Petroleum said this, presidency said that, FCC said another.
They had an equivalent of the "Jaruses" and "Mosgoons" in the person of "Jesus Army" and co. To be fair to 'Jarus' and 'Mosgoon', they are very humble compared to the equivalent in the shared thread.
Soon courier services started calling people to drop their appointment letters - and the house divided. You guys are dividing yourselves too early. Wait for the letters to start dropping - everyone won't be employed by nnpc, and it's not a curse or being mean when someone say that.
"Jesus Army" and some other key members (including the author of the thread) didn't get the letter. Then another theory sprang up - there is going to be a second batch. Some who had received their letters mocked them and advised they should move on with their lives. They cursed, bickered, etc.
At a point they organised days of prayers for the second batch letters to be released. They contributed money to seek the services of media houses to force nnpc to make an announcement on the status of the recruitment riding on FOI act.
After some months another set of letters, maybe few were released. This was mainly for nnpc Retail Ltd. Then hope rose up again for them to the high heavens. Jesus Army was once again seen as a true prophet.
I want to tell you that people were practically waking up to visit that thread, share dreams of hope, make prophetic proclamations on their letters for 5 years and above.
At a point 'Jesus Army' got a good job in an oil and gas firm and moved on, but not without encouraging the 'hopefuls' not to become weak in faith. Some others changed jobs, got like two or more promotions, yet some guys were still believing in 'second batch'.
Why am I saying all these? You need to encourage yourself that it's 50:50 on you getting this job. I know the country is hard and a job with nnpc will definitely make a lot of difference. If you really really have faith, in God and in yourself, you will believe that you can do well or better with or without nnpc job.
I know some people who passed through that desperate, traumatic experience of the thread above, but who picked themselves up and rose again. Some of them were practically begged by friends/family to apply, attend CBT test, or travel to Abuja for the interview. They are not sure of taking up the job if given. You too can work yourself up to that level of comfort in this Nigeria. God bless you all.

Honestly if not for u guys and some past scholars I know. I would have assumed d selection process has been concluded.

It's already 2 weeks to University of Aberdeen resumption. Yet no news. Spdc has not even reached out to d schools...
This is really devastating and frustrating plus it's so difficult to move on with out knowing d outcome of the scholarship. I can't invest cash in anything now becos I don't want it to waste if I get d scholarship.. I'm just so tied down, refreshing my mail box every day.

It's really unfair ☹️ and our mental health too is important.

My dear invest oooooooO, nothing go waste for this life.

It's better the scholarship finds you doing your something, at least even if it doesn't work out, you still collect draw (1-1); than you missing out on the scholarship after much emotional involvement and you didn't do what you wanted to do.

If I see a job offer like this sef, I will collect with two hands while waiting for the scholarship; nnpc 2019/2020 GT recruitment taught me a bitter terrible lesson I will never forget.

Even Jesus said "Occupy till I come" not "Sit down and wait"

Modikko:
The recruitment exercise was suspended due to a query nnpc Pension Fund Limited received from Federal Character Commission on the legality of carrying out such exercise without informing them officially. However, nnpc Pension Fund Limited is a Limited Liability Company and not an MDA, so FCC erred here. They are working on resolving the issue. Until then the recruitment stand suspended.

Oga you are speaking based on sentiments. That interview they did was to show some high ranking officials/owners in that school who are onlooking unknown to the applicants that interviews are being conducted.

The bottom line is that the main candidates are already selected. That one na just formality.

Ask those that went for nnpc interview. You nor hear say people dae buy job for this country aside man know man oh.

I am not disputing your point, in fact, your narration is now a menace in our society, but mind you, the school OP is talking about is not a government own where such practice is so rampant. Most times, the people we go to interview with will get the job and won't tell us even if we ask them.

I still insist, most times, after the interview and all that, senior management may still decide to look at very different candidates entirely, alot happen during recruitment and decision are taken in a speed of light.

Also, your point is a possibility SHA.
