IMO, we played much better after the card. They never expected the one man advantage, thus spoiling their game plan of mass defence, a pronge attack of four men. They began to thread awful passes and made more mistakes than prior.

As for our defensive game, someone should remind a game we defended better than last night's game. For me, I can't seem to remember. I was watching in awe that could thia be my Barça playing or an Atletico side who are resilient in defending. We defended in numbers. I could count how many times Messi played long balls (O in PS or B in Xbox) outta our own box. I could see how Messi and Neymar were defending like their lives depended on it.

I was highly impressed. I had never seen Barça more composed in defence than last night.

In the two continental competions; champions league and Europa, it has been dominated by Laliga teams in the last decade, this european domination is not only barca and real madrid, its a complete Laliga domination, so what else do they have to say?

Secondly, lets have a swap of teams, bring the top four teams from EPL to Laliga and see where they'll end, its obvious none of them will make top four. Loyal Cules dnt u think masch's foul was very crucial because if gameiro had scored that one on one,they would av played the "park the bus" strategy of which it can lead to barca not seeing a single goal because sevilla is also good at defending.
Big thanks to masch 4 dat crucial foul oo! Although he played just 37 minutes but he contributed vitally to our win.

Masch made a great sacrifice IMO and fully deserves the accolades. That's what an inexperienced Batra should have done to Bale against Madrid knowing fully well we had a 'basket Pinto' between the post
He made a timely foul before getting to the box to ensure we didn't concede a goal which could be so detrimental.
Kudos must be given to our players to have been able to survive the onslaught thereafter. That was the best defensive play I have seen us put up over the years. They worked hard to ensure Masch's sacrifice eventually paid off.

competition is when two clubs outside top four breaks in, which cannot happen in Spain, competition is when you are not sure to win any team until the final whistle. While there are top four in EPL (where Man U, Chelsea, City and Arsenal have dominated well save this past season), there's nothing like top 4 in spain.
Madrid and Barça are always guaranteed to win not because it's just easy but because they are far ahead of every other team not only in the league but even in Europe.
As regards not knowing who's gonna win Until final whistle, I am sure if Barca are going to play Arsenal, we can always predict the winner, if Madrid will be playing Tottenham, we can always predict the winner, given Atletico vs Chelsea, we can to an extent predict the winner, what of Barca vs Leicester? Seviila vs West Brom? We can always predict sir.
This shows that given the level of Madrid/Barca, one can always predict they'll win their opponents (even though that's not so true in La liga) as against what's obtainable in EPL where there are no much talents but over hyped players who sometimes get even matched by their opponents.
Barcelona/Madrid/Atletico would also dominate the EPL, can same be said of Leicester, Tottenham and Arsenal? In La Liga?

Tell him my brother.. English league is just a joke. They only parade average players. How many players from epl have won world player of the year. English league sucks thats why Ronaldo Delima and Ronaldinho rejected them.

How will their players win the world player of the year? The only player that won it there dumped the league for Spain. The good ones in their league always find a way of coming to spain ( e.g Henry, Suarez, BaleN CR7 etc) while la liga rejects (e.g Alexis, Ozil, Yaya etc)and normal players (Silva, Aguero, Costa etc) always go to England to dominate and earn their big money.

Leicester won the epl after losing only 3 matches while Barcelona won La liga after losing 5 matches. So what's the competition all about?
Man U, City, Chelsea and Arsenal have always been the best of the league, but we all know how they perform when they get to Europe where they meet their counterparts from other leagues. Why has the so called competition not given the epl teams an edge over the Spanish leagues that only play for exhibition in Europe where they all meet to showcase their prowess? Sevilla have won the Europa league three times in a row, what happens to the epl teams? Why has exhibition so much helped the Spanish teams and competition couldn't help the epl teams?
