Pep has used his choice of Busi over Yaya to prove to us over the years that the DM needed in front of our defence is not the traditional strong, heavy, powerful tackler and destroyer who is swift in breaking play but an intelligent, silky passer, technically sound, tactically apt and excellent ball player. Our midfield has never been about pace and power, but agility and skills. The dude is a very good player, but I don't see him fitting well into our system. There's a reason Masch has never fared well in that position for us, something he does excellently well for his national team.

1. Any coach that wins the league in his first season at a club should not be praised, the players should rather get the accolades(in a bit to down play a certain coach's achievements). He was asked who gets the praise should their new coach win the league in his first attempt, we are still awaiting the reply.

2. The groaning, moaning and excruciating pains United fans have gone through in recent time seeing LVG as their coach are well documented, they have been screaming for change and many of them believe there's only one coach who can guarantee them that much needed change in order to salvage their dear club from towing the Liverpool way, they got their wish granted and a simple question was asked about their expectation from their new agent of change.
Question: what's your minimum expectation from your new coach who?
United fans: he has nothing to prove, we have to see the players he would sign first, we don't know if the club would place priority on youth development, he has won the league before, so, he doesn't have to win anything again to prove he's great plus and some even recant their old views in the process. But every other coach out there has something to prove safe United's coach.


3. Zidane won the UCL in six months, which makes him better than Luco, Pep,....(yes, he's better)
By their logic: RDM and Zidane are much more greater and better than Fergie and Mou combined.
By their logic: Pep won two UCL with Barça and lost to the spanish giants while at Bayern, he's not special. But, Fergie only won same two UCL in his career and lost two finals to a spanish giant, Fergie is great. While it's allowed for Fergie to lose to a supposed superior opponent, Pep has no justifiable reason to lose to anyone. (still trying hard to know how the Barca 2009 team was better than that of United though)

Some that have argued that Mourinho was better for years are suddenly saying no Pep is better so that we wont use next 3seasons to judge them

While some said he has nothing to prove, some want to see the players signed before stating their expectations.

Surely we do know how to play 10 against 11. I could remember one of the best elclassico performances I ever saw was about 3 years back when we played madrid with 10 men. Adriano was red carded in the first half with the scores at 2-1. We were losing but our 10 men against madrid s 11 was very close to a draw and victory. We dominated for over an hour with one man less.

Don't forget the El Classico we played in the second year of Pep, Busi was red carded(i think close to the end of 1st half), we won the match with Ibrahimovich scoring the only goal.

Funny enough, if it were to be a Sevilla player that got sent off like Masch, haters would have bombarded here with their usual songs.

IMO, we played much better after the card. They never expected the one man advantage, thus spoiling their game plan of mass defence, a pronge attack of four men. They began to thread awful passes and made more mistakes than prior.

Kudos to the boys. They did us proud.

As for our defensive game, someone should remind a game we defended better than last night's game. For me, I can't seem to remember. I was watching in awe that could thia be my Barça playing or an Atletico side who are resilient in defending. We defended in numbers. I could count how many times Messi played long balls (O in PS or B in Xbox) outta our own box. I could see how Messi and Neymar were defending like their lives depended on it.

I was highly impressed. I had never seen Barça more composed in defence than last night.

Don't mind all the half intelligent EPL fans, what other yardstick can be a measurement for competitiveness if not continental competitions. In the two continental competions; champions league and Europa, it has been dominated by Laliga teams in the last decade, this european domination is not only barca and real madrid, its a complete Laliga domination, so what else do they have to say?

Secondly, lets have a swap of teams, bring the top four teams from EPL to Laliga and see where they'll end, its obvious none of them will make top four. Lets reverse the situation by bringing Laliga top four to EPL, the worst case scenario is that three Laliga out of four with make top four. So what other measurement do we devise in determining competitiveness
