The listed players are OK as AM or CMF... none can play the pivot role. We need a N. Kante that is good on the ball and off it. He's the closest thing to Busi in football now

Yea I got your point, my opinion is that, as long as Busi still keeps wearing our jersey, I doubt if the club would think of getting another pivot. Getting a player of Kante calibre means Busi has to go, which I really doubt for now unless he decides to team up with Pep at City.
I'd also wish we get a support/back-up or better still, a competitor (like Kante) that would give him a run for his money. He seems too complacent at times.

I must confess he's a very good player, but, I doubt if the club would be looking out for any midfielder for now. We have Iniesta, Arda, Rakitic, Roberto, Busi,Rafinha and even Denis on loan. Unless Busi decides to follow Pep, I doubt if the club would see any reason for checking out Kante.

I think Abidal is the one behind his rumoured transfer. Even though he coming as a free agent, I personally don't want him as a back up for MSN. His indiscipline and constant misunderstanding with team mates and coach is well documented. I don't want a player that will be causing upset in the dressing room.
There are really better options out there.

I've always thought the guy is technically better than C. Bravo. I think the injury he had in training during his first pre season, caused by A. Song, coupled with his inability to communicate in Catalan or Spanish are his major problems. He is a decent goalie and must be kept.

What exactly did you expect from guys that have been hammering Hazard all season? Even, if he has scored 20 goals this season, don't you think some would still find a way of putting up something against him? Have you suddenly forgotten the case of Messi? A supposed super star will always be subjected to one criticism or the other(expecially from the guys in opposition) until he reaches his full potentials.
So bro, bringing Ribery, Gotze and Iniesta into the question because some saw no reason for being over excited for a great goal scored by a supposed super star was unnecessary at least to me.

Even if Iniesta doesn't score a goal from now till he hangs his boot, sir, nobody cares, he's already past his prime and was not even known for scoring many goals when he was dominating, he was never compared to Messi even when he got to the balon d'or podium with him. So, Iniesta not scoring now should not be excused for Hazard not living up to expectation having been so much hailed as the heir apparent to Messi and CR7's throne.
The debate over time has never been about Hazard vs Iniesta, Ribery or Gotze, so there is no point bringing them in now just because Hazard did what many had been expecting from him.
