We need Busi badly in this game. Vidal should replace Alves and Messi should step up. Levante are playing better than us ATM. |

Our defence needs utmost concentration if we must leave unscathed. Levante are playing really well and they'll surely park the bus should they equalise. We need the three points badly. |

dmcdad: I hope you would recover on time to talk more before the second leg.
I mentioned just MSN and you went haywire. I guess I should regale you with more names to dry up the infinitesimally small hope you have left as regards the tie.
The Don will be playing for us. That alone is cheating in itself. Na big ojoro. Need I remind you that we would be playing with the best DM, a very intelligent footballer. One who studies the game like a physician studying human anatomy, solves team problems just the way a mathematician solves word problems leading to linear equations, brings up concept (in order to bring about dynamism in the team) just like a Computer Scientist would add new concepts to existing programs, and adapts to the team's changing needs just the way you and I adapt to changes in Nigeria's pump price every now and then.
As for the names you mentioned; Giroud will be taken care of by Pique. Ask around and you will be told hiw Pique defends arial balls with aplomb. Giroud too small for am to handle. As for Ozil, who doesn't know he hides in big games? Imagine whence the Don would be busy doing his magic, you wouldn't even have time to remember that Ozil was in the starting lineup. Sanchez? Well, his dribbling will be a cause for concern no doubt, but it doesn't get more than that. He ain't a goal threat to me. Walcott? The same pensioner Wallcott or is there any other one in your team apart from Theo?
Like I said earlier on, talk is cheap. Make we wait for Feb 23rd. Nigeria go be you like Chad when e go happen.

dmcdad: The problem about your myopic post is that, you took cognizance of Barça's lapses, and never did with Arsenal. Or you wanna tell me you don't have weaknesses too? Defensive weakness?
Like you rightly said, we do have a high defensive line, and also play with our fullbacks in order to bring about width in attack. Playing with a defensive highline has its merits and demerits. Unfortunately for you, you pointed out just the demerit without taking into account its wonderful merits.
Have you ever wondered how easy it is for us to initiate attacks? Infact, we play with 11 outfield players (including the keeper).
Now let's get to the nitty-gritty. If what you posted above was that easy, how come teams like Madrid and Atletico don't take advantage of that? Or you wanna claim the accolade for the greatest tactician and console yourself with the fact that they don't have a knowledge about it? Of course they do! But why don't they bypass it easily as highlighted in your post? That's because some things are easier said than done.
It seems you need me to take you down memory lane, that's if you are suffering from amnesia. In last season's UCL alone, we defeated Man City, PSG, Bayern Munchen and Juventus en route to the trophy. You wanna tell me the aforementioned teams don't know about what you pointed out? Really? You remember someone called Pep?
It seems you are also forgetting that your defense is no better than mine. Plus the fact that, you would be playing against the scariest attack/forward line the game has ever seen, and you don't think that should be your major concern?
Let me assure you of one thing; the best result you would get outta the Emirate is a draw, mark my word! We don't need to go over what the outcome would be like at the Camp Nuo.
I'm delighted with the fact that all your injured players are back. At least the major ones such as the likes of Coquelin, Sanchez et al. I know Sanchez will worry my men a lot, there is no denying that. But imagine what Messi would do to Monreal. Imagine what would become of Bellerin after Neymar must have sodomised him. And take into cognizance the frustrations Suarez would cause the likes of Kolscieny and Mertersaker.
Bruv, talk is cheap. Becareful of what you ask for.

He continued that his son was not going to spend his entire playing career at Barcelona and that there was nothing stopping him from not signing a new deal and leaving the club.

homesteady: This guy is so Did you watch any Sevilla game last season, maybe apart from their games against Madrid and barca? Obviously No! So you just pick up stats from anywhere and come to a conclusion that he was better? I thought this kind of argument has already been over-flogged? Who doesn't know that smaller teams defensive players would have better stats than the bigger team players?
Oh well, let me knack you with more articles! Why Sergio Busquets is the best midfielder in the world
www.squawka.com/news/why-sergio-busquets-is-the-best-midfielder-in-the-world/508570 check the date, just November of last year. This summarises it all: As the pivot, Busquets initiates attacks and defends counterattacks, controlling the tempo of Barcelona’s attack and defence. His influence is rarely seen statistically, even in categories often used to measure midfielders, but anyone who regularly watches Barcelona or Spain knows how valuable he is. Someone else will be Xavi’s literal replacement in central midfield, but Busquets has become Xavi’s tactical replacement as chief conductor of Barça’s rhythm. There are midfielders who score more, some who assist more, some who tackle more, but no midfielder exerts the amount of influence over their teams attack and defence than Sergio Busquets does at Barcelona. |

dmcdad: Honesty they are on course.
I just wish they can play every game out there, but the reality is that they ain't machines. Heck, even machines break down, let alone...
Saying they will surpass their last season's goal tally is an understatement. Like you said, it's just a matter of how many more. I will need it to be with a wider margin than last season's.
They scored a total of 122 goals last season. And thus far they have scored a whopping 80 goals.
Just 42 goals off last season's tally. Not forgetting that one of em (D10S) was out for 2 months earlier in the season. Barring injuries, I envision them scoring 135 goals. Well said bro! |

Liverpool paid around £35 million (British record then) to secure the service of Andy Carol who managed to score 11 goals. Suarez scored 31 goals (no penalties) for liverpool in his last season and Barça paid around £75 million to bring him to Nou Camp. Going by the stats, permit me to say we stole Suarez from Liverpool. |

The reality is that, the first person to rest of the front 3 is Neymar. And of course it's obvious why. So in as much as I would have loved to see him get his own share (of the national cake), I know he would need much rest for games in the coming weeks. You raised a salient point bro.
