Debroslink: But Pep had a first hand experience with the Barcelona B team before coaching the main team. Enrique coached Roma and Celta before coaching Barcelona.
Giggs has no coaching experience. He may be an assistant coach, but he does not know what it takes to be THE MAN. He needs experience from anywhere; youth team, championship club, anywhere.
Giving Giggs the Man United job just because he grew up in the club is a NO NO...
EXPERIENCE is the word here. Barca made Pep the B coach, Man u can also do same to the selected few. I never said Gigs should be appointed, and I don think he's the only Man U product over the years. You and I know that Puyol, Xavi and co are still coming back to coach Barca. |

SIRcumalot: @all. The coaching talent pool for soccer is not deep at all. If we're even to make a big change Jose is the only manager wey dey market. When Barca wanted to replace Frank Rijkaard After two trophyless season, same Jose was contacted and he really wanted the job against the fans' wish. Barca then opted for an inexperienced Pep (a Barca legend) and gave him every necessary support (he even got rid of the best players). He won it all in his 1st season and he's now wanted by every club. When he left, his assistant, Tito was chosen to take over. After another poor season under Tata, Barca again turned to one of her products, Enrique (who was just gathering experience) to take over. He has also won everything and will surely become a 'hot cake' when he leaves. The club is now known for raising both players and coaches. Man U is a world class and highly rated club, the best in epl and one of the greatest in the world. I think the club can also try the Barca way and put trust in her products who aleady know the in and out of the club rather than looking for a world class coach who will bring his own philosophy. #justmyopinion |

Chelseafan1: ehen...better then, Arsenal fans go shut up if una fit deal with dem wella by February. , if they av a full squad and still making sense like this, e go hard una o
lool...I don high on sachet water, I never brush, still lying idle in bed I really wish Arsenal could win the league this season as all odds seems to be at their favour. Chelsea are already out of the equation, Man U are not showing serious intentions while City are still shaky. But, you and I know how inconsistent they have always been over the years. Make dem at least win make Wenger get freedom from all his critics. But.........should this their current form and position (2nd) be enough reasons for them to be carried away? Should that be the basis for them to now be comparing player to player? Were almost all Madrid players not rated above Barca players even before the Elclassico? Is the outcome not even enough for people never to make comparison with these Barca players? If there's a club that should rather focus on avoiding past mistakes in the league while finding a way to get past their usual nemesis than just making 'mouth' and comparing players, I think that should be Arsenal. Well well, 'a kii ni ki omode ma dete,.....' Feb is around the corner! |

Mcleo007: I was engaged in a meaningful chat with a knowledgeable Chelsea fan today. We both shared equal opinion on the failings of the specialist in failure in recent years. I told him; Moanrhino can't succeed in a club that has seasoned stars or we say big name players. In his teams, he enjoys being the star, the center of attraction. The one person the team owes their success and brilliance... and they must continually sing his praise.
In 2010, W. Sneidjer had a glorious year. He couldn't have emerged player of the year when the team's success was praised on Moanrhino. To him (Moanrhino)and the press, he single handedly won the team the treble, failing to acknowledge the hard work put in by the players.
No matter how good a coach is, he needs the players more than they need him. With all his brilliance, Pep Guardiola would be no more than a D. Moyes without the likes of god-Messi, Xavi, A. Iniesta and co to interpret his ideas on the field of play. A good manager relies on and works with the strength of his players. And knows he owes them his success; must praise them far more than he'd berate them. You got it right bro, exact thing I told a friend (Chelsea fan), you can only praise your players publicly and scold them in the private. The moment you criticise your player in the open, his confidence in you drops and gradually withdraws his loyalty. |

Messi has proved the world wrong that he can accommodate anybody while still having his place intact while Neymar has proved that humility is key in living ones dream. |
