At 2 goals up, he was safe to make changes. Sandro was already a minus one and there was no harm in trying to see if his partner in crime could offer something better. Mathieu just made himself a bad day by adding more issues to the ones Pique ans Masch already had.

We score two good goals that could have won us the match even though we should have scored more had our forwards used the few chances well. Messi and Suarez must have missed Neymar as that wing was vacant and was begging for attention. Messi also wanted to score more and decided to go alone sometimes as he could not afford to pass to a non existent Sandro. Our midfield was okay too as the don also dictated the play as expected. Pique and Mascherano played their 100 matches as partner at CB and one would expect them to take no nonsense, but they were punished many times before bro Mathieu helped to add insult to their already swollen injury.
All in all, the team looked tired somehow and we all know the reason for that. There's still a lot to play for, and we are surely going to get over it. Sandro and Munir just keep blowing their golden chances and no one should pity them come January when there will be little or no room for them to take to the field again.

Neither has anyone made mention of any conspiracy here. But, if you have been following as claimed, it's either you are being economic with reality or deliberately shying away from it as it's a common practice from many guys here.

I didn't actually enjoy the match really. I wanted a better performance from the younger boys. Kaptoum did not impress me at all. Like you right said, it was full of comedy really, I still wonder why those guys could not score at least 5-7 goals. Na Messi I pity pass, maybe he should have even played at all.

Yet, they held us (almighty Barca) to a draw.

I would never accept injury as been the reason for a top side like Man U not to qualify ahead of those 3rd/4th tier teams.

Funny enough, when the draw was made then, everyone including me tipped Man U as the group winner as many of them even confessed it was one of the easiest group. Please, tell them. Epl is not in decline but is rather the best and the strongest league in the world with world best players playing competitively to paint the league as the most entertaining one. That's what they love to hear.
